We stayed in the two bedroom "suite." The furniture looked like they picked it up off the side of the road that someone had thrown out. People who stayed in our room previously put a parental lock on 90% of the channels and the front desk did not know the code. One of the main draws was the hot tub after hours of being in the car. I walked by to find two homeless men in the hot tub. The front desk said they would call the police. I was terrified all night a Homeless person would try to get in our room. There was a huge ladder propped up from the outdoor patio to the fence, I had to go out and take it down, this made it easily accessible to get into the yard that was part of the room. We will not be coming back! Sometimes paying a little more is worth it!

Secondary interior recurrent foe the door.

We shared a loft apartment (~$200 a night after taxes and fees). Very clean and comfortable, loved the in suite kitchen area, dining area, and in suite bathroom. The common area was also useful to get some quick tea / coffee, get filtered water and do some laundry. The atmosphere of the whole property is organized, clean, quiet, and friendly. Highly recommend for folks who are coming to Bishop for outdoor activities and want a relaxing and comfy experience.

I'm so glad we stayed here. We were two adults and one child and stayed in a private family room with one bed and a bunk bed. The bunk beds have little curtains which our kiddo liked. I didn't totally trust that the barrier on the top bunk was high enough to prevent my kiddo from falling off so I had her sleep in the bottom bunk. The room was small but we knew that and it was enough space for three of us. We loved how it was decorated down to the individually wrapped towels in the bathroom. No TV which I also liked and forced us to hang out together! We were on the second floor and there were comfy rocking chairs on the deck where we sat at night and enjoyed our wine. We were able to borrow the wine glasses in the community kitchen which was very convenient. We also spent time on the couches outside the kitchen and the Adirondack chairs in the yard - just a lot of open places to hang out which was nice. The airstream store is super cute. We didn't get a chance to try their coffee but did buy one of the treats and also some gifts from the gift shop and played yard games in front. Schatt's bakery is next door which was a nice bonus and we grabbed breakfast there in the morning and brought it back. The entire property was clean and well maintained. Walking distance to the bowling alley where we went for a couple hours to play and also get a delicious steak (yes from the bowling alley cafe - no joke!). We'd definitely stay here again when passing through Bishop.

Expect room with all the basic necessities, including microwave and mini fridge, perfect if you meal prepped to save money. Even so, you're surrounded by food options within walking distance, including Eric Schat's Bakery. Front desk attendant was friendly and welcoming, helpful with orientation and greeted everyone good morning walking in for breakfast. At check-in, we had the option to choose between an upstairs or downstairs room. Downstairs made it convenient for loading boards, right next to FREE parking spaces. Staff was accommodating to provide additional amenities, such as extra towels and lotion. House keeping only upon request the night before. Complimentary breakfast starting at 6:00 AM. The breakfast area was packed with snowboarders on the dot, added to the vibe. Hot omelette and sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, and hard-boiled eggs. Great to fuel up for the mountain. Lady was quick to refill hot foods. There's also refreshing citrus water to quench your thirst in the lobby. That said, few things to be aware of. While the main room itself was clean, the shower area showed some wear, especially around the caulking where you could see mold. The showerhead also sits low - if you're over 6 feet tall, it's going to feel tight. The biggest downside is the thin walls & floors. You don't hear much street noise, but you absolutely hear people... every footstep, every toilet flush, rolling suitcases, and late-night arrivals. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Can hear people coming in around 11 PM pretty clearly. 3.5 stars: Great if you value convenience, affordability, and friendly staff. Place delivers the basics, but noticeable drawbacks of worn shower & thin walls keep it from being a solid 4 or 5 star stay.

I like how spacious the parking lot is. The location is ideal, right in the center of everything. Walking distance from Schat's Bakery & other restaurants, & right next to the park, so it's great for people who have dogs staying with them. I did notice there are a good amount of guests that have pets with them here - so this business is pet friendly! Our room was ready by the time we checked in & was clean. Walls can be a little thin, but we still had a good night's sleep. My favorite part of the stay was the continental breakfast included with our room - sausages, eggs, gravy & biscuits & all the usual options like cereal & fruit & pancakes. The staff were always on site, cleaning tables & refilling food. Such a filling meal, especially for a day of snowboarding ahead. We didn't use the extra amenities but they were nice to have - indoor pool, sauna, exercise room. Overall we would be delighted to come back!

If you expect luxury and being pampered this is not for you. This is rustic charm in an adorable very clean fishing cabin. The bed linens and towels were like brand new. Beds all comfortable! The kitchen is stocked with mostly everything you could need. The shower is Hot! The BBQ is small, but we brought our blackstone and it worked out great. The food in the restaurant was simple but good and there is no where else to go on the mountain for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night. It is in the tree's with water running thru it which my dog loved, Yes they are pet friendly. It is nestled against the mountain, simple and quiet, at least after we left (there were 12 of us). I have been cleaning fish at their fish cleaning station for years and frequenting the store, bar and restaurant, I am HAPPY to have stayed here and look forward to my next visit! Pros: The entrance is nice. I can tell they upgraded it recently. Looks clean and I can see the effort made to make it nice. They have water and ice in the lobby, which is nice. The fitness room is decent for a motel. Breakfast isn't much but it's filling. It works. It's toast, cereal, bagels, egg whites, oatmeal, yogurt, bananas, apples, milk, peanut butter, jelly, cream cheese and coffee. It's not gourmet but it works. The breakfast place is nice, clean and upgraded. I do feel like they try their best to make this place comfortable. The effort shows. I love that the entrance to the rooms is indoors. It's walking distance to restaurants and the park. I'm assuming this is the downtown. I had a dog and they were very friendly and accommodating. I love that they have a bathtub. I have toddlers so it was a nice way to bathe them. Plenty of parking. Cons: One of the major disappointments for me is the wifi. It's extremely slow. This is a big major point for me because I have to work on my laptop and when videos aren't loading it's difficult to work. The doors look old and outdated. It just lowers the aesthetic. There are no elevators, which I already knew. I can overlook that though, my main compliant is the WiFi, especially for the price.

This was our first time and we had our dog so finding a pet friendly hotel that's decent, is always a challenge. This one checked all the boxes. It's close to the bakery and walking distance to other fast food and eateries. Parking can be tricky if you get there too late. But there were more spaces on the other side that we didn't know about until we walked our dog. There's also a bowling alley nearby. We only stayed for one night and it really was more like a 12- hour stay but it was enough to get rested, fed and our room was comfortable. The breakfast selection was pretty well stocked. It's a grab and go style so we were able to take it on the road with us. I would consider staying here again.

I assure you there's nothing well maintained or cozy about this motel at this time. The motel has been painted a festive green, blue, and purple. There is no indication of any recent updates or renovations in the courtyard or outside areas that would attract you to this location, except they have a nice fish cleaning area to the rear of the building. Years ago, they did a halfhearted renovation of the rooms with tile, some newer furniture and wood flooring. The tile is cracked, the floors slope, and are squeaky and there's nothing inviting about staying in these rooms. I will note the beds were clean and comfortable. My stay was based on a short business trip overnight. The people in the room next to us and I might mention the walls are paper, thin, were loud and obnoxious. We had to listen to them argue with other people at their door and the screaming of I'll call the police on you, I'll call the police on you. I think the other frustration is that the rates for this motel is equal to many of the newer facilities in the city of Bishop. If this were a $39 room and the only thing you can afford maybe you would stay there but other than that, look elsewhere.
