My husband was craving cơm tấm, so we decided to give Com Tam Sa Bi Chuong a try since it had so many good reviews. We ordered two cơm tấm bì sườn nướng, and at only $15 each, it was a pretty good deal. It also came with soup and a corn dessert. It wasn't a huge deal, just kind of confusing. The food was okay. The rice, pickled veggies, grilled pork, and pork chop were all good. The bì (shredded pork skin) was way too mushy for my liking. The chả trứng had a really strange smell and tasted like it had shrimp or some kind of seafood mixed into it. I have a shellfish sensitivity, so I didn't eat it after the first bite. I've eaten chả trứng at a lot of Vietnamese restaurants, and I've honestly never had one that tasted like that before.
