I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to grab some quick Vietnamese food to bring to the airport and was specifically craving com tam (broken rice dishes), especially at a reasonable price. Parking was a nightmare, as this restaurant was nestled in a busy shopping complex with other restaurants. Eventually we found curbside parking adjacent to the complex. There are pre-set plates including the filet mignon steak + mi xao bo toi, bo luc lac + khoai tay chien, com ga hai nam + bo luc lac. You can also build your own plate with 1 item ($13), 2 items ($14), or 3 items ($15). You pick your protein choice(s) and side choice(s). Protein choices include: suon (bbq pork chop), thit nuong (boneless pork), ga nuong (grilled chicken), bo nuong (grilled beef). Side choices include: bi (shredded pork skin), cha (egg cake), cha trung muoi +$1 (egg cake w/salted egg yolk), trung opla (fried egg), tom chien (fried shrimp). I opted for the 1 item option with thit nuong and trung opla. I didn't stay long to pick up my food, as it was ready in under 10 minutes. I waited to eat it hours later when I got to the airport, but as expected it was delicious and hit the spot despite eating it so much later. I also forgot to snap a picture of it, but the portion size was enough for me to eat the other half the next day as its own meal. Overall very solid choice for anyone craving Vietnamese broken rice dishes.

Large portions of delicious com tam served here! I do think they raised their prices a bit sigh but so is every other restaurant nowadays I suppose. Quick service. Suon was nice and juicy, not dry at all. I like the complementary dessert at the end of the meal. Casual ambiance.

The interior is nice, and the service is excellent. The portions are huge but not overwhelming, and I love the variety they offer. The dishes are set-style, letting you pick from a selection of proteins, sides, and plenty of add-ons, many of which are free. Honestly, I thought this place was amazing and it's probably my favourite com tam spot in Orange County.

Food is good. Meat and rice were a little dry in my opinion. Portions are huge. Food comes with soup too. You also get some dessert che at the end. Place is very spacious.

A lot of food

Revisit after many years (2026); love their "built your own plate" option. Not everyone eats the default food plate, well at least I don't eat bì and always throw them out! It's great to have the ability to pick 1 or 2 proteins and a side ranging from $13, $14 or $15. They used to give 2 pieces of sườn by default but not anymore the last time I ordered so don't expect that. I think the size of sườn is pretty big so it's ok either you get 2 medium or 1 big sườn. The sườn is tender and doesn't have a lot fat; marinated to taste. Canh is a bit salty for me. Pickle veggie are great. You got yourself 2 regular customers :)

Wanted to try something new, so we checked this place out. I was confused when they gave me 2 menus. They are sharing this space with the Pho Ga 1 Khong 2. I got their pho ga. Got their 2 items for $14. Picked our protein, which is the bbq pork and our side, the egg roll. It came out with 2 pork chops and one egg roll. I love how their side broth came with perfectly small diced daikon and carrot. Their broth tasted like chicken broth, which I'm not mad about. The pork chops were really good. It was a bit on the sweeter side, but you could also taste the smokiness.

I was in the area and needed a quick lunch. We haven't had broken rice in a while and came across this place. It's located in a center with a few other small businesses and restaurants, coffee shop. The parking lot is sufficient, but can get crowded during peak hours. The service was quick, and our food came out quickly. Overall, the taste was pretty salty but edible. We ordered the grilled pork and grilled pork chop with egg cake. We also shared a shrimp tofu skin cake which was the perfect amount for the two of us. It was pretty filling.

Zar P.

Was craving broken rice so found this place. Lots of food for the price. Got the chicken, shrimp tempura, and steam egg with salted yolk. The chicken and the steam egg were solid. Would skip the shrimp tempura, it's nothing special. The broth was rich and flavorful. Service could be better, had to wait a bit to flag down someone. Not a big deal, would come again.

We got the com tam with bbq pork chop, egg cakes, and an egg yolk ($13/$14). Portions were generous and food was good. Service was efficient.

I love COM TAM! This was my 2nd time ~ I'm still dreaming about my meal, each bite was a delight. The menu has a wide range selection of dishes, and we ordered the chicken and the grilled pork and loved both dishes that we had. Service was quick and prompt. Thank you. I will def be back! Honorable mentions: -Accepts credit card -Plenty of parking

Excellent service and nice clean restroom available for disabled people too. They really excel in grilling meats and this business has become the go to spot for breakfast and lunch on Super Sunday. Congratulations to Dodgers!! You deserve the best in Vietnamese fast food and Sa Bi Chuong a play on words has delivered high quality food at a great price with fast service. You are ready to eat in less than 10 minutes from the point of your order. Super Duper Busy on Happy Sunday after church here. You can try their new dish the stewed catfish with pork belly and sour soup. Delicious. They usually run out of this Vietnamese favorite among the local residents here. Come and eat with joy because you will love it here. Always fresh and definitely worth the effort.

We went here randomly cause my dad wanted to eat here cause he liked something at this restaurant. I went here first time my mom overall I could say the food is not my cup of tea overall, I think the flavor isn't that. Great I've been to other places sell com tam overall I thought it was all right not my cup of tea end of the day it looked like a strange restaurant. I never been to a Vietnamese restaurant not selling french fries or Cajun fries as a menu item. We probably won't be back for this place, but my dad probably eats here a lot.

Com Tam Sa Bi Chuong is serving up some of the best classic broken rice dishes in the Little Saigon area. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots, but parking can get tight depending on the day and time you go. Inside, they a spacious and modern interior with about 10-12 tables for seating. For their menu, they have appetizers, broken rice combinations, and vermicelli dishes. I stopped by for lunch with the family and opted for the Com Tam Thit Nuong with Bi and Cha. The meal comes with a generous portion with fish sauce and a side of broth. Everything was delicious and was the definition of comfort food at its finest! Overall, you really cannot go wrong with ordering com tam here. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive. The value and quality you get for your meal is well worth it here! Com Tam Sa Bi Chuong is Viet gang approved!

The sweetness of the grilled pork, the crispiness of the eggrolls wrapper bits, and the freshness of the vegetables pairs with the special sauce never fails to satisfy the craving. This time we tried their cheeseburger spring Roasted Duck spring rolls. I am not a duck fan so this was okay to me. The meat was well seasoned with the spices and the hoisin sauce was a nice balance. The crispy Vietnamese eggrolls were also a first and it was great! The meaty and crispiness of the eggrolls eaten like a lettuce wrap with the nuoc Cham sauce was delicious. This place always seems to be busy and rushed and can get a bit loud but the service is always great. They have a bar where you can grab some drinks while you wait. Their lychee martini is good. There is also a dessert display in the front where you check in which we haven't tried yet.

We prefer this location compare to the other one because it has faster service, quieter romantic atmosphere and polite attentive staff.

It really nails that traditional Northern-style flavor profile. Pro tip: make sure to mix in some sa tế, as it completely amplifies the broth and takes it to the next level! Also, I'm so hyped that the Cháo Sườn Quẩy is FINALLY back on the menu! It came out piping hot and is just as comforting as I remember. Food Bánh Mì Pate Que (2) - $5.99 Served as two pieces, this Hải Phòng-style bánh mì came with pate, shredded pork, and a house chili sauce. The bread was nicely toasted and served warm, making it easy to share. Bánh Ướt Đặc Biệt - $14.50 Steamed rice sheets topped with pork patties, fried tofu, and fresh vegetables, served with a house fish sauce. The sauce leaned light and slightly sweet, which may appeal to some but felt a bit mild overall. Bún Chả Hà Nội - $16.50 Rice vermicelli served with grilled pork, pork patties, fresh herbs, and house fish sauce. Similar to the other dish, the sauce was on the lighter side in terms of flavor. The protein portions also felt a bit small for the price. Service My party and I were greeted and seated promptly upon our arrival. A server brought menus and returned shortly after to take our order. However, they did not check-in throughout the dining experience. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and the food came out quickly. Payment is processed at the register near the back by the kitchen. If I could make one request, is if you can give customers (me) the option to pay like extra $1-$2 for their orders to be ONLY FLAT WINGS on small orders. Over all those years, they have never disappointed me and continue to serve really good food. I usually get the beef brisket pho and it's really good. The noodles are just the right texture, the broth is clean and flavorful, and the meat tastes fresh and tender. Their dui bo is also very good, but usually runs out after 1:00 or 2:00 pm, since they only have a limited amount of this item every day. The meat is fall off the bone tender and has a more fatty flavor to it. It usually sits in some broth that absorbs that beefy and fatty flavor from the bone. A great addition to any bowl of pho. Alternatively, I sometimes also get the bun thit nuong and it's very good. The eggrolls it comes with is wrapped with rice paper, so when it's fried up, it has such a satisfying crunch and texture to it. The thit nuong is has a nice smokey, grilled flavor to it. The shrimps are okay as well. This is a very satisfying and filling dish, so if you're looking for a high volume dish, this may be the one to get. Expect long lines during peak hours. I can confirm though that the wait is worth it! Service is always very good. The ambiance on the inside is fine, very plain and unassuming in my opinion. I'm not one to usually order extra noodles but for this place I would order as many noodles until I ran out of broth, it is that good. Noodles were on the soggier side, I'm not picky about noodles but if you are then this is something to consider. Portions were huge for the price, very happy with that. CASH ONLY. The standout for me was the flaming wagyu ($18), torched tableside. For how thick the cut was, it was incredibly tender and soft. Definitely go medium rare. The ponzu dipping sauce really enhances the richness of the beef. We also tried the shaken beef ($21), which came with plenty of caramelized onions and bell peppers that added a subtle sweetness.
