Bun Bo Hue Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup
Alyssa C.

Was in the area so stopped by for dinner! Fast service with a QR menu code and attentive waiters. Their 2018 Michelin Guide sign was also quick to catch my eye. Tried the spring rolls which were delicious but almost $12! Saw a lot of employees sit down after to chow down on some hot wings so if I find my way back, I'll try those. Bun bo hue was good but not the best. Brisket and bone marrow bahn mi was good but also not the best. Was not bursting with flavor and the baguette was not soft and warm but not crispy if thats what you are a fan of. Overall, good place if you are nearby but would not go out of my way. Would focus on their vermicelli bowls, rice dishes or hot wings!

What a fantastic gem to have in the Bronx. I was in town visiting family and decided to have lunch here. I was curious what they had to offer and wanted to compare it to the amazing Vietnamese food I've both in Vietnam and in Virginia. We tried their pho, spring rolls, and spring rolls noodle dish (I mistakenly thought I ordered the bun cha pork meatballs but it was spring rolls). The pho was perfectly seasoned and rich. The spring rolls were the authentic since you could tell they used rice paper instead a wheat dough wrapper and were absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. It was my sister's first time trying Vietnamese food, by the way, and she love it. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town to try more of their menu.

I rarely ever write a second review, but honestly, this place deserves it. This is my go-to pho spot in New York, hands down. The broth is so flavorful -- rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying -- and it's the only place in the city that consistently hits the spot for me. My husband and I have our usual combo: Beef pho (with extra raw meat) Beef rolls Summer rolls Everything together usually comes out to around $65 total for two, which is kind of amazing considering how full we both get -- we almost always leave with leftovers! Finding that kind of value in NYC feels nearly impossible these days. A few tips: Eat in person. Delivery just doesn't do it justice -- the broth and noodles never hold up as well, and something always gets mixed up. Expect crowds. It's a popular spot, especially in colder months, so you might end up at whatever table is free. All in all, this place is a gem. Warm, hearty, and full of flavor -- it's the kind of pho that makes you forget about the rest of the world for a moment. I can't wait to go back!

Stopped by Pho NK Com Ga Ninh Kieu after spending some time at Ocean Casino and wanted to get some fresh air--it's about a 10-minute walk and a nice break from the casino atmosphere. The food was decent overall. The pho broth stood out the most--it was flavorful and comforting without being too heavy. The noodles were cooked well, but the meat (both beef and chicken) was just okay and could use some improvement in quality and tenderness. I also tried the spring rolls, which were crispy and delicious--definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The spot itself is casual and good for a quick bite rather than a long sit-down meal. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, a decent option if you're nearby and craving Vietnamese food, especially for the broth and appetizers, but the meat quality could be better.

I brought my brother here who was visiting from the west coast and was really excited to try some pho on the east coast. The restaurant had a pleasant vibe from my last visit. This particular visit I decided to dine in because I also brought my daughters along with us. My picky eater order a sandwich, we got some wings, pho, spring rolls, and some garlic noodles. We enjoyed everything from the service to the food. I was so happy that my picky eater enjoyed her sandwich, because she doesn't like anything lol. The only thing that was not good was the garlic noodles. We would order everything else again. As for my brother he enjoyed his pho, but he said the west coast had more options. Thumbs up and Happy Yelping!

Was feeling under the weather and ordered pho to go and it was very delicious. A generous amount of broth, noodles and chicken for the price. I wish the chicken would have been cut up more and more seasoned. However I will be coming back the staff was very generous.

Special Combination Beef Pho Pho Dac Biet Bo Vien and Crispy Spring Rolls Cha Gio

Great team and fantastic food! Decided to go with the crispy spring rolls and combination beef pho. Let's just say there was nothing left on the table but the plates themselves at the end haha. A beef pho to go was a must at that point and was recommended a Vietnamese ice coffee. Told it's strong and that's my go to kind, added it to the bag and after the first sip it's exactly what I needed. Highly recommend to eat in; you'll feel like you're home or grab a pick up order in person to get to know the place and people. Was informed they've been there around 15 years and I can see why, I'll happily support them in their continuation of growth!!!

One of our favorite restaurants ever. We love Com Tam Ninh Kieu. Food is always phenomenal and delicious. We had a lunch date today. I love how crispy the chicken was just how I like it. Everything was delicious as always. I love the lime soda omg. Stop by everyone and check it out the best Vietnamese restaurant ever you won't be disappointed. Thanks for having us. The spring rolls are out of this world.

Pretty decent viet food. The meats were a bit dry on the pho chicken and the pork chop we had with the noodle salad. The best was the fried chicken.

Ordered the brisket and bone marrow bahn mi from here on Thursday for a pick up at around 5pm. The bread really detracted from the sandwich, it was so meh, not crispy/crunchy or tasting especially fresh. The fillings were overall okay but shockingly as hungry as I was I couldn't bring myself to finish the bahn mi. Bonus they're really close to a great park

Pulled Brisket and Bone Marrow Banh Mi

Overall, the food and service were excellent! The real star of that meal was the appetizers in my opinion. I came in with 2 others in my party without a reservation around 1:40 on a Saturday with the tables half filled and got seated immediately. The menu was on a QR code provided at the table. The wait for the first two appetizers (crispy spring roll & crispy shrimp dumplings) ~15 min. They used the same dipping sauce which tasted like a sweet vinegar. Both were exceptionally crunchy and there were a lot of crispy shrimp rolls to share. If you're feeling adventurous, definitely go for the crispy shrimp dumplings. The next appetizer came soon after and it was the hot wings which tasted more sweet than spicy. It was crunchy but it was still very good all round. Batter was flavorful and the actual meat was juicy. One of the best Asian style wings I've had. Finally the bahn mi (we ordered the one with bone marrow), and both pho came out. The pho's broth was nice and you can taste the aromatics which was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint would be the rice noodles sticking together when it was served meaning it was like eating a block of noodles at times. However overall good pho.

This place is incredibly easy to miss unless you're intentionally looking for it. I've gone past it so many times without a clue this establishment was even there. I loved the ambiance of the place, it was so cozy, warm and relaxing. The music they were playing matched perfectly with the vibe and aesthetics of the place, it was soft and romantic in a way. There are plenty of tables available for groups or solo dates. This is a perfect place to sit down and journal or get some work done. I literally only waited 10 minutes from start to finish to get my takeout, I sat down on one of the available tables and immediately started reading my Bible app, truly relaxing. Half of the tablets were occupied but everyone appeared to be relaxed and just enjoying their meals so the noise level was low. If you're waiting for takeout they give you a ticket and then bring your takeout to the table you're at. If you ordered in advance for a pick up you just walk to the counter and they hand over your food. The staff were friendly and graceful. While I was ordering my food at the counter, I was able to see the staff handling some of the food. They were plating, and I was pleasantly surprised with the fact that all of them were wearing gloves even while they were taking the prepared food to the tables. You get 5% off your bill if you pay with cash. There are no atms inside. Now let's talk about the actual food, the star of the show. I ordered the claypot braised pork belly and I was notttt disappointed! This meal was such a unique experience. I am used to eating very flavorful and well seasoned dishes overall so I've tasted plenty of dishes that had more flavor than this. However, I have never enjoyed a dish that was so intentional with all of its textures and tastes. The rice was soft and light, and the vegetables had the perfect amount of crunch and spice, while the pork had a mild sweetness to it. The egg was a perfect add on to put it all together. This is the kind of plate that you have to truly eat everything it's served with to fully enjoy all of the different textures and flavors that it brings. If any of the spices or flavors would've been overwhelming, it would take away from the other flavors every item on the plate has to offer. I put a little of everything with each bite, yummm. The only flaw with the dish unfortunately is that the larger portions of the pork were chewy and a bit dry, which based on other reviews seems to be a thing. The smaller pieces were very tender and delicious. I will definitely order again from here. I'm excited to try their homemade soda, coffees and their summer/spring roles Happy yelping and enjoy

Food (pho and bun) tasted old and upset my stomach, and it was poorly packed so my pho broth spilled over everything.

A Little Italy tradition worth every stop!…read more Whenever we head to the Bronx for Italian cold cuts and fresh homemade ravioli, stopping at Delillo Pastry Shop is part of the tradition. We simply can't leave without it. Their cappuccinos are excellent--my personal favorite is the Nutella cappuccino--and my 6-year-old always asks for their rich hot chocolate. Before leaving, we always grab a gelato to go and pick up a box of pastries for the week. Everything we've tried has been fresh, delicious, and beautifully made, and they offer a wonderful variety of classic Italian desserts. The shop itself is small and cozy, which adds to its authentic neighborhood bakery charm. Just keep in mind that there isn't a dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to find street parking--and in Little Italy, that can definitely require a little patience! If you're visiting Arthur Avenue, Delillo Pastry Shop is a stop you shouldn't skip. It's one of those places that keeps you coming back year after year.

Bread, cookies, and pastries are all showcased and it smells great. If you go during the afternoon during the week it won't be as crowded as it can get on the weekend. Everything here is terrific. Whenever I'm in the area I'll bring home a pound of assorted Italian cookies, I'll also grab rainbow cookies and cannolis. Their cannolis are terrific, some of the best in NY. Yes, NY, not just NYC. I think what makes their cannoli stand out amongst some of the best is their shell. It's always fresh and crispy. Their filling is a little more vanilla forward compared to other NY institutions version of the cannoli, so keep that in mind when trying one. I'll put it to you this way, if you like Italian pastries, especially cannolis make this place a destination to visit, give them a try and see how it ranks up compared to your favorites. And while you're there, take in the rest of Arthur Ave! Oh, I almost forgot. They have what my husband says are the best savoiardi cookies in the state. As you enter its doors you're hit with that sweet bakery smell of fresh bread and classic Italian confections. The ambiance is classic and unassuming, letting the treats that fill the glass displays and what I dubbed the 'biscotti wall' take center stage, deservingly so. The service was outstanding, as the staff masterfully took care of the hefty crowd that was there while I was...boxing cookies, explaining biscotti flavors, preparing coffees, and filling cannoli to order. The olive bread was incredible, and is worth the trip alone. They have more biscotti variety than you could imagine, all which look and sound amazing. Great selection of breads, cookies, and other classic Italian sweets. We opted for a few cannoli to accompany our olive bread, and they hit the spot. The shell was outstanding- crispy, held together well, and good flavor. The filling had nice flavor, but was a bit too sweet and the consistency was a tad pudding-ish for my particular preference. Next visit we will definitely be sampling more from the biscotti wall, and bringing home more of that olive bread! Great, can't miss spot!

The customer service, the cake, & the taste was all the same as what it was before. AMAZING! I got the fresh strawberry shortcake with crackers all around for a friend's birthday. I was able to get the bakery to write on the cake and buy candles for the cake as well. They boxed it up for me nicely and safely so the cake wouldn't mess up. When I brought the cake to the party it was the main attraction at the end of the night. The cake was sliced and served. Once the guest had that first bite they were taken aback at how BOMB the cake was! They said it was the perfect kind of sweet. Not overly sweet like other cakes and how it tasted so fresh and delicious. Awww man I need you to experience it for yourself! This cake in particular has me in a chokehold! Their selection is extremely large and contains all that you would expect (biscotti, rainbow cookies, b&w's, pignolis, etc) as well as Italian ice and various other treats. The line moved fast, and the workers were extremely helpful as we ordered our rainbow cookies and pignoli cookies with cannoli cream. The pignoli were great...they had that signature almond taste, just right. Very enjoyable. And the cannoli cream center was a nice touch, and very good as well. The rainbow cookies were ok. Admittedly, I have a very high bar for rainbows, so I hold them to a high standard...and they were good, just not as flavorful/almondy as I particularly prefer. In all, Artuso is a great stop. A perfect post lunch/dinner spot to grab a quick snack to cap off a meal. Definitely check it out.
