I've ordered from this place monthly for two years. When the owner delivered my order (5 pizzas and 3 sodas), he refused to get out of his car or meet me in the lobby, forcing me to carry everything outside of my workplace. When I told him this was unacceptable and that I would stop ordering, he became aggressive, ran toward me in a threatening way, and made a sexist remark, saying the only reason he didn't hit me was because I "don't have a dick." When I walked back inside, security guards were concerned for my safety. Disgusting, intimidating behavior from an owner, and his comment showed clear contempt toward women. I wish my pho broth was filled to the top, that is the reason for the four and not five stars. I do think I would have enjoyed it had I stayed in to eat. The pho was rich and comforting, the traditional banh mi had that perfect balance of crispy bread and flavorful fillings, and the tamarind snails were a standout--sweet, tangy, and super addictive. A friend recommended this place. We dined in and you know the place is legit when there are Vietnamese families eating at the nearby tables. We were a group of 6 and we ordered various dishes such as the periwinkle snails, the pho, BBH, bánh mi sandwich, spring rolls, and summer rolls. Everybody was pretty satisfied with their dishes. People were split in opinions on the snails and the summer rolls though. The sugarcane juice was AMAZING. I wish they bottled this up and sold it by the gallon so I can bring it home! It's fresh sugarcane juice and I think they add something citrus to it to really elevate the flavor. The staff there is so nice and friendly. They joked around with us a few times and they were also friendly to the delivery guys who kept coming in and out. Decided to give this place a try I love to have fries with any meal.I was hopping the pizzeria had fries to go with my Bánh Mi. The place isn't huge small but they have a great Vietnamese menu. I didn't see fries on the menu but I asked the guy at the counter and he said he definitely had fries. We went with the Grilled BBQ Chicken + Grilled BBQ Pork Bánh Mi and they were so good. For a small joint in the Bronx this easy really good! Staff was super friendly, great sense of humor, and really homey. It kind of felt they knew a lot of ppl walking in. Pho cannot be compared to Houston but still in nyc, pretty good. The brisket is better than the rare beef. Noodles are the right texture. Broth is good. Their peppers are spicy. Pho sandwich isn't sunny and Annie's but still pretty good. I did wish they gave me some pickled radish but I think it was still a good sandwich. Pizza looked good but didn't get a chance to try. Stumbled upon this spot and am pleasantly surprised! Walked in and immediately noticed the food serving sizes on other tables are huge. The banh mi is no exception. However, I wish the sandwich is less dry. This restaurant uses more of a sweet roll vs the typical baguette, so I did miss that signature banh mi crunch and chew. The true star of the show is the snails though. Random order but after seeing passion fruit butter listed in the ingredients, I had to try. Love the sauce. It's a heavy but so satisfying flavor. Went to this hybrid Vietnamese and pizza shop, had a chicken slice which was good. The star of my meal was the pho. Had the beef and it was so flavorful. I do not play about my Pho! So when I saw a Pho AND a pizza shop all in one I was like Oh, hell no. LOL. But of course, I start my research and see what the people say. Toppings were a bit cilantro heavy for me but I'm a big girl with patience and I will pick that ish out if I don't want it. It was so good that for my birthday lunch, I ordered again. The rolls were huge, 2 for $8 they were delicious and fresh. My daughter loved it as well. Paired with the fish sauce it was absolutely delicious. Unexpected. The thai tea came un-mixed and baby, I like that. Show me it's real! This pho was even better then the first one. I forgot to say light on cilantro but this one was less cilantro heavy. The flank gave it a slight fattiness that added to the depth of the broth and paired well with the raw onion too. Became my preferred pho quickly. The toppings were bagged this time but still fresh. Price point is fair and it is filling for a regular belly. Bigger eaters should order extra noodle. I wish I had taken pictures of my second order but chile I was starving by the time it came. This place was absolutely amazing. I drove there from midtown which made the trip much shorter and there's a ton of street parking available. There was a bit of traffic and I'm afraid we only arrived with 40 minutes to spare. 10 minutes to closing time the owner walked into the kitchen and asked why everyone was still working. Good vibes from a caring boss. We ordered two pizzas, a pho, and a woven rice noodle between the four of us and we took home maybe 6 slices of pizza. Everything was delectable and if I lived closer I would happily eat there multiple times a week for the rest of my life. read more

I am very upset with this restaurant. ... I'm upset because I went to school and worked right next to here for YEARS and they didn't exist until this year. Man... this would have been a game changer. All the years in the bronx and there was only one good pho spot on the other side of the bronx but now we are blessed with another one. The pho.. broth is so good and flavorful. My wife and my friend both said it may be their favorite in NYC. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but top 3 fo sho. And this was still really good even though we got take out and ate it at home. Banh mi was really good too! they pack it with a lot of meat. I actually wish they put more of the pickled veggies to balance it more but still amazing. Pizza (cheese slice) was good. I've been here three times and every time I leave Singapore and fulfilled by delicious authentic Vietnamese food. The classic Banh minis one of the best around. Do Bunsen in Thai place just because it use to be a pizzeria. The pizza is good but the Vietnamese food is too. They even have periwinkle snails! The bun Bo hue and beef pho are so worth the trip there and parking is easy to find. They only have street parking but there is plenty. Please go suppor this small business. Tried the new Vietnamese place a few weeks ago for early dinner. Very good. I was excited to hear that it was closer to my home. Overall I am very impressed. The flavors are fresh and authentic. They also continue to serve pizza as it is located in the old Sorrento's establishment. Today they got extremely busy with the service since some people were coming in for pizza while others were trying out the new cuisine. While the service wasn't great due to the volume, I will be going back to dine. I would recommend calling in your order if you don't have much patience. You can order at the counter and take a seat if you want to dine in. You can pay when you are done eating. If you plan to pay with a card, you must leave your tip in cash as there is no option to add it on card. The Cha Gio was very tasty but I do prefer mine to have more meat and less noodles. That is more of a personal preference. I also like them more when they are wrapped in rice paper versus spring roll paper. The fish sauce dip (nuoc cham) is very flavorful, salty, tart, and great for the noodle salad and the rolls. I also really enjoyed the summer rolls paired with the peanut sauce. Seems like the sauces are homemade and have lots of love going into them. The pho is sooo good. They really know how to make the perfect broth for it and it has all the right aromatics. I will be frequenting this dish for the winter for sure. Another small issue I had from my vet experience was that the pork in the noodle salad didnt really have that deep grill flavor that I look for. It didnt seem to have much color. I wish it was more like a pork chop with grill marks. Overall they are close and have good flavor so that will keep me returning as a customer. This classic banh mi sandwich was so good even after eating it 1 hour later. They don't skimp on the pate or mayo and meat. The jalapeños were sliced thinly and it was spicy. Definitely coming back to try other items, maybe even the pizza. The only issue we had was we called in advance for pick up they told us 15 minutes. This is my favorite place to go to in the Bronx! The Pho is absolutely incredible and consistent everytime. Paired with a Vietnamese tea is perfection What I particularly like about this spot is that the same team is there daily and it has been sweet being able to see them everytime. This has got to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Bronx. Their banh mi sandwiches are a foot long, juicy, and packed with flavor. I highly recommend the BBQ pork and chicken, I think the hero they use is like garlic bread so good. My coworkers always order their pho--brisket pho and chicken pho--which they love. The center of the sandwich is where the majority of butter, it was the best section of the banh mi for me! We got a pizza for the heck of it. Would highly recommend this spot for their Vietnamese food. Some of my favorites were the snails, and the banh mi. The bread on the banh mi was very crispy and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Snails is a good dish to share with 2-3 people. The sauce with the snails was very flavorful, and it was nice of them to give us bread to dip with the remaining sauce. The sauce was nice and fresh, the cheese nice and melty and the dough was the perfect amount for a Sicilian slice. Heard about a new Vietnamese restaurant opening in the Bronx and wanted to give it a go. It's a mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant inside a Pizzeria. Don't let the appearance fool you. This mom and pop Vietnamese brings me back to my childhood. Grandmas Pho. It's a pizzeria so not ideal for an exotic date. This is more for quick bites or dinner with few buddies as seating fits no more than 5 to a table. Great for kids. Service is kind and humble as it's a small family owned business. Now to the food. Had the spring rolls. Filling and big, the sauce was perfect. The summer rolls were big fat and their peanut dip is not too sweet. The pho was great. Huge portions, lots of cuts of proteins, guaranteed a value at $13. Topped it off with sugarcane drink and coffee. Bathrooms are clean as well. This is a great addition to the Bronx community.
