This is one of the best pizza places I've been to in NY. I cannot believe it's Halal!! Amazing service, clean, quality pizza. Perfect 5 out 5 star reviews for this place, I had to see for myself. After having my plain cheese slice, I gotta say the dough has a airy, chewy, crunchy texture which I really like. However, the sauce and the cheese didn't do it for me, I felt the slice needed more flavor even after I sprinkled the garlic powder, chili flakes and herbs. The is the spot to go for very old school real NY pizza. I have heard the spot has been there for over 40 years. I do sometimes go to other pizza joints around, for the old style straight out of the oven flavor, come here. Jerry's pizza so far has not disappointed on the regular slice, Sicilian slice, Veggie slice, Extra cheese slice, Spinach calzone or anything. All the food options have been the perfect choice so far. Not bad pricing also, $2.75 for a regular slice. It is the place to go especially when in the neighborhood and want to enjoy some pizza. Great staff that is very friendly, look forward to my next visit already. Sausage slice was on the money, lot of meat loaded up for you. The Bronx has great pizza, this is one place to go. read more
