Pizza is ok but not great considering that Salvatore's is much better and closer to us geographically.

Great spot for pizza and pastas! I ordered the penne vodka and the chicken caprese. Penne vodka was a 8/10. It was flavored and seasoned which was different. Also you get a really good portion size for the cost which was around $14. It also came with a basket of fresh warm bread that was soft! You could tell that everything tasted like it was just prepared. I also really enjoyed the chicken caprese. Definitely flavorful and comes with a side of pasta and salad. Again, it's a great deal for less than $20. They do have indoor seating and a bathroom. All the staff is friendly and you can tell that it's a community favorite. I can't wait to go back! read more

Food is very good and has a great salad called the Dino salad that has grilled chicken and eggplant in it. They are just a little pricey for pizza and certain items. All and all I do recommend the food. read more

Despite the fact that it's not a big place, it's a fairly typical sized pizzeria, they make pie, after pie, and are quick to help you with a smile. The staff is always friendly and attentive when taking your order. There's a good amount of seating there and it's nice and bright inside. The mouthwatering specialty pizzas are in display at the counter. The ONLY thing I didn't like from there is the garlic knots. All of their pizzas and pastas are delicious! The grilled chicken sandwich lunch special is so simple and yummy. I even love their fries! This is the only casual pizza I crave. read more

The regular garden salad has something fancy going on, but I can't quite say what it is. Just realize that I hate eating salad, but this salad I actually sometimes CRAVE. How is Dinos THIS good. And how has it taken me this long to order and find out?? Their shrimp scampi is my new go to for the week. And for context- my original go to was Patricia's in Morris Park. The fact that Dino's topped their shrimp scampi was a big deal. The fettuccini alfredo with grilled chicken is amazing, the portions are huge & who doesn't love leftovers. I'm really blown away by the quality of their meals even down to the presentation (which you can't see in my photos because we already dived into our food). The bread is soft and the side salad is a dinner size with Italian dressing. I've ordered at dinner time and I've ordered when they first open, the quality is consistent no matter the day or time. If we order delivery it comes quickly- I really only have great things to say. Can't wait to try more of their food, I think next on my list is their chicken parm. read more

This place makes an excellent, traditional, flavorful, crispy New York crust and they have tons of delicious pies loaded with veggies. OMG. Best American Italian infused pasta. The penne a la vodka with grilled or crispy chicken is AMAZING! The fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and mushrooms is TO DIE FOR. I am so happy they have a quick delivery service, and really nice delivery staff as well. The guy who came over twice while I was staying with my sister in law was EXTREMELY nice. We even ordered catering through them. And I didn't know someone had already paid for the food by card over the phone. And I went to hand him money to pay and tip. The guy was so honest with me, he told me the bills were already paid for. I have never experienced this before and I highly doubt I ever will anywhere else. I would highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a home delivery or a quick bite to eat at the shop! Dino's pizza is an okay spot for a quick slice, however, the slices aren't always the most fresh and the staff aren't very friendly. Unfortunately the few times I have been here have been a disappointment because the slice for one pepperoni slice changes every time I am there as if they are just making up the prices. I have never been to Dino's Pizza, I randomly called them because they were relatively close to Montefiore hospital and I wanted to send food to the doctors and nurses during the heat of Covid. The owner called me back and was happy to help me with my order and even made a HUGE CONTRIBUTION himself. He hooked up the staff with amazing food! I am sorry I did not review sooner. This pizzeria is very conveniently located near the library. It seemed very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Service was quick and friendly. However, the pizza was very mediocre. I may return if I am in the area and am looking for a quick bite but I would not make a special trip. read more

Their food is excellent, some of their services are great and their prices are even better but why they dont get a 5 star 1.- called 4 times to place an order. 15 minutes of my life lost to waiting on the phone. 2.- Went in another day and placed my order, the owner tells the girl, have you checked if you put the dressing on the bag. She said yes, Guess what? we didn't get the salad dressing. 3.- They are not on any of the modern ordering platforms just phone and walk ins. (Even the Chinese store next to them is online) The Food: its actually really good, we discovered this gem while driving around the hood. Have tried 4 of their plates and they all have been great. The Place: very normal looking Pizza Joint. Delivery: The guys are always pleasant and quick to deliver the food. I cant ask enough, i dont like to call via phone, this is not 1990. Horrible customer service. My husband and I ordered a marguerita pie and a grandma pie. We payed 56$ in total with a 2liter sprite. The marguerita pie was basically a regular cheese pie with sliced tomatoes and basil on top no marinara. Never seen or head of such when I called to complain I was told what I wanted was a margarita Marinara and that I had ordered a regular margarita and that they could not do anything about it. I had no idea there were different types of margarita. Let alone I had no idea a margarita pizza could come dry with no marinara. None the less nerve ordering here again. Make sure you tell them how to make the pizza you are ordering if you're ant what you are expecting. read more

Solid pizza joint in the Bronx. Two friends and I had two very different but delicious pizzas. The scaloppini pizza had juicy chicken on top and great seasoning without being too overdone. We also got a grandma pie with mozz, garlic, basil, and broccoli rabe, which made even the pickiest of eaters gobble up vegetables. Great pizza and food. However today they did not make my order until I showed up because they did not recognized my number (something I've seen often in riverdale) this is bad service. I don't want to wait, that's why I ordered pick. Edit: the sandwich I got was so good that I had to change this review from 1 star to 4 stars (it was really good and the portion was huge). It breaks my heart to give Dino's 1 star. We have been a customer for 18 years and we are a fan of the food. Unfortunately the customer service and specifically the delivery service has disappointed us on a number of occasions. Food arrives late and is cold. When you call to ask about where the delivery is, the reply is 'he just left' which we are not sure is true. When the delivery person shows up he says "Sorry, I had several other deliveries to drop off first. Terrible experience Sunday night when we called for a deliver. When the delivery was late, we called and were told it was out. Waited and waited and when it still didn't show up we called back. Got a person on the phone who said his name was "Carl". While I was on the phone he said he would call the driver. While I waited I could hear him taking another order and when he came back he said he spoke to the driver and we were next. When I told him I heard him taking another order he said "OK -- I didn't speak to the driver, we are busy. The driver had 20 orders to take out." I gave him my number and asked him to have the manager or owner call me by today. No on called me back. Don't bother ordering from here and expecting delivery on time. Food will arrive cold. Just for background, I have called in the past and gave the restaurant my feedback about their delivery service. They knew we are good customers, we order 2-3 times a week. Gave them feedback that their deliver service was not good. Nothing has changed. If you are picking-up or eating in fine ... but go elsewhere if you need your food delivered. read more
