I can't lie. On arrival, we were ignored by restaurant wait staff. We contemplated leaving but our hostess finally decided to sit us down after noticing they may lose a patron. Our food took forever to come but, I will say once our food finally arrived, our waiters were polite and didn't treat us unkind. My prosciutto sandwich was just okay, 7/10. I think had it come with a different cheese and not feta, and had my prosciutto been sliced and not diced, it might have been a better sandwich. My French fries and cappuccino were delicious, and the aroma of coffee surrounding the restaurant was nice. The restaurant has a cute European coffee house vibe to it. A great place to go have lunch and espresso on a nice day of shopping in Little Italy, particularly if you're a local and of European decent. Not a bad place to have lunch but I wouldn't return. read more

At the southern tip of Arthur Avenue is this lovely Albanian cafe where the vibes are excellent. The scent of cigarette smoke mixed with freshly-brewed Türk kahvesi makes me feel like I'm in Cihangir. The history of the trileqe cake in the Balkans is fascinating. As I understand it, it was transmitted from Latin America through popular telenovelas, and then proceeded to spread east to Türkiye. I must admit that I prefer the Balkan interpretation to the original, with a rich caramelized layer on top. The version at Noya nails that caramel flavor, but the cake was slightly shallow for our taste. read more

Real Review from an Elite Yelper. I will cut to the chase. Sometimes you will get good service, sometimes not. If you are however Albanian or Italian you might get better service. I experienced that here. The wait was so long to be seen AND to check out. When I arrived it was only because I went straight to the area where the waiters will print your bill in order to be seen. This is a hangout spot for the locals, iykyk so if you look tiny bit oddly out of place they will look at you. This has been my experience here... I wanted to get pastries but my experience left a bad taste in my mouth. So I ordered a macchiato to see if the service got better, and it did not. However the macchiato I was standard And well poured. Maybe I'll try this place one more time and at a different time to see if service improves. read more

Extremely rude over the phone. The owner placed me on hold to call his bank (left me in earshot as he complained) and then preceded in hanging up in my face. Was inquiring about members of my organization visiting the location & wanted to understand pricing for mass purchases. When I asked if we were welcome to patronage the establishment, he hung up in my face. I would not recommend spending money at this establishment. read more

A day along Arrhur Aveinue in the Bronx and my husband wanted to come here for the Petulla honey with powdered sugar, so here we are. Very modern restaurant and for this time of the year festive. Service was excellent and pricing was good. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I should share my experience after a disappointing visit. My wife and I stopped by this café tonight after hearing great things and seeing how busy it often is. It wasn't crowded when we went, yet it took quite a while for anyone to greet us. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with a few tables they seemed to know personally or perhaps regulars maybe. And our server seem more interested in smoking and laughing loudly then paying attention to the customers coming in. We ordered an espresso, a cup of tea, and a dessert. The dessert came first, a bit odd, and we waited around ten minutes for our drinks. What surprised us was that other tables who sat down after us were getting their coffee before we did and ours was only a simple espresso and tea. When our drinks finally arrived, the server stopped to chat with another table, and by the time they reached us, my espresso was already cold. I tried to ask for sweetener but the server, he didn't respond, so I ended up getting it myself. The dessert was quite good, but the poor service really took away from the experience. I truly wanted to like this place, but our first visit left a bad impression. Maybe we'll give it another try someday, but I'm not in a rush to return. read more

Ridiculously disappointing experience. We began with waiting about 15 minutes before being seen by a rude waitress who then confused an order of a glass of white milk with a chocolate cannoli, go figure. The food then came out with eggs scrambled instead of over easy, like I had made clear. After finishing the largely mediocre tasting and poorly presented dish, we spent time trying to pay, before we tracked down our waitress who told us to "talk to the man in black". There are 15 men in black. It's the uniform. Moronic. Our time there was finished off by being given a bill that was more expensive than we had ordered, and a baklava that spilled all over the to-go back.
