The place was super quiet when we went in for lunch. Just a few individuals up at the bar. We were told to seat ourselves. The server came by immediately. The services was great. The staff was prompt and attentive. We both ordered the nachos. It was an appetizer that was meant to be shared, but there is no way I am sharing these. I have to say, the nachos were heavenly. The best I have ever had. They arrived in a basket, looking like a masterpiece. The chicken had flavor and a bit of spice. There were beans, tomatoes, all the standard fixings, and little cubes of avocado. But the crema and cheese sauce was the star of the dish. It was a pond of perfection. This was my first visit to this place. I had tickets to the "Zoo Lights". Nice. If it had been a bit warmer, would have sat in the patio. As a Floridian, when it started snowing a few weeks ago in Denver, we quickly searched for something cozy, warm, and delicious. Luckily, we stumbled upon Colorado campfire, which offered all three! Outside they have a lovely seating area with fire pits for the coziest experience ever. However, when it was snowing, you couldn't really sit outside as the snow just gets all over the tables. If it wasn't snowing and just cold, we would have opted to sit out near the fire. There was a 30 minute wait when we came in on a weekend around 8, but we were able to find a seat at the bar to order some food and cocktails pretty easily. We ordered Santa's little helper, an espresso martini, and mallow on the graham for drinks. All of them were delicious. Santa's little helper tastes just like a peppermint hot chocolate. The marshmallow addition to the mallow on the graham makes you feel like you are eating a s'more. Truly, these drinks are iconic. For food we ordered Buffalo wings, garlic parm pretzels and chicken nachos. The nachos really stood out to me as they featured some really yummy toppings like jalapeños, avocado, black beans and white cheddar. Yum!! Highly recommend this cute spot! To be honest I was scared to come here because of some of the reviews about the service lol! HOWEVER my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. We came in at peak dinner time on a week day and it was fairly filled. The host immediately greeted us and gave us the option of inside or outside. We sat inside then changed our minds to outside (it was sunny out ok!) and it wasn't an issue at all. I never had to wait for my order, another drink, or even asking for extra barbecue sauce. Our waitress was great and I loved sitting outside. Food is standard bar food! Nothing to write home about but checked all my boxes. The pretzel bites were interesting they were super dough-y but I liked them honestly. The burger did lean on the smaller side for the price point - it looked so small in my boyfriends hands!! We stumbled on this sweet spot after spending some time downtown. We were looking for a heated patio to eat on and this was the perfect vibe. The service was super friendly and the food and drinks came out fast. Everything was super tasty too! I ordered the Caprese wrap with tater tots; and it was good! Stopped in tonight to watch the NBA Finals. Colorado campfire is a very open space with multiple tv's for any game you'd like to see. I sat at the bar and ordered a sour (cerebral trade winds) Really great flavor. Always check for samples because they do offer them on most beers. For my meal I ordered the 'Pork Belly Tacos' I think the pork belly could've been a little bit thicker because in most bites I only tasted the slaw. However the bites that I got of pork belly it was perfect. Super soft and melt in your mouth. Service was great and very attentive. Service and hospitality was great at first until I got my waiter. When I asked if a type of burger was spicy he said not really in an unsure tone which threw me off. Ambience was amazing. great place to take your friends out and have a blast. Very LGBTQ + friendly. I made it clear I was ready to leave multiple times to my waiter for nearly 20 minutes but eventually had to flag down another staff member to help me. Each one we got had a unique design. The food was pretty yummy, but the fries were a hit or miss. Some had a perfect crunchy texture, while others tasted like I just took a bite out of a brick. Food and Drinks were good! However, the service was not it! Chris the hostess/server was very rude and inconsiderate. From the very beginning he was not welcoming from putting our name down to getting our food. He didn't sit us down or give us menus he told us "your table is two down to the left." When our appetizer came out he didn't give us silverware or plates. Taking into consideration they seem to be understaffed his attitude was written all over his face. The food and drink menu is great, but I received an incomplete beer pour, ranch and condiments half full, and wings that were mostly bones. Even more strange, some of the dishes had a weird burnt marshmallow aftertaste. I will definitely give this place another chance, but I hope these easy fix issues can be resolved. read more

Laid back spot with great beers & cocktails! I can't believe this was my first time at Colorado Campfire. It is such a cool spot with a nice patio with fire pits as well as a cool interior. They're at limited capacity due to COVID so we had to wait about an hour to be seated on a Friday night. It wasn't a big deal though b/c we just went across the street for some margs beforehand. I wish we could have gotten a cozy spot by the fire but we ended up sitting inside, which was totally fine. We were close to the open door though, so I knew I'd want a warm drink - which they had plenty of options for! I ended up getting the Santa's Little Helper - truly tasted like Christmas in a cup with that Peppermint Schnapps! So delicious and warmed be right up! Came here on a Saturday early evening for dinner. It was warm enough for us to sit comfortably outside in their patio area. The patio is spacious and dog friendly, though the fire pit closest to our table was not working so our table was a bit in the dark. We started off with beers- the beer menu is extensive and has something for everyone. For dinner I ordered the BBQ plate and my boyfriend ordered the burger with a side of fries. The BBQ plate was a generous portion. The pork was moist, the chicken breast a tad dry, but both delicious. The Brussels sprouts on the plate were my favorite part- the sweet chili glaze was so good. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal, though he was still hungry after clearing his plate. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Colorado Campfire. Our server was extremely rude to us and the shareable apps had zero flavor and were either over cooked or undercooked. Specifically the hush puppies, the mushroom flatbread and the dough bites. The poblano hush puppies had no poblano in them, and if there were it wasn't enough to shine through the over fried exterior of the hush puppy and the tiny little sauce cup for the hush puppies was so small you would have to ask for a second cup of the sauce. The mushroom flatbread had so many flavors yet no flavor stood out and if anything the brussel sprouts had a very bitter taste which overpowered on each bite. We were up in Denver to check out an awesome plant store when we needed to get some lunch and had the dog with us. Colorado Campfire was the spot we didn't know we needed. The staff was awesome. Shoutout to Jen and Patrick that were there every time we even thought about wanting or needing something. The beer selection was amazing as we went with the chicken nachos to share. Those may have been some of the best nachos I have ever enjoyed in my life. Top 3 for sure.
