Fabulous cocktails and burgers. I cannot stop gushing about the mint poblano lamb burger. Sounds like things that maybe shouldn't go together. But works fabulously together. The cream cheese with the mint, the poblano, the arugula, the red onion, the lamb... Excellent combination. Would absolutely eat it again (and again). The cocktails were yum. I opted for the special on the chalkboard sign outside - a pumpkin pie mimosa. Another combo of things you wouldn't usually think go together... So yum! The ambiance is casual and low-key. We had a couple of servers who came by, like, twice. We weren't sure who to flag down to get our check (and we had to flag someone down). So the service wasn't your typical seared service. But they also seemed short-staffed? So forgiveness there in that. The staff we did interact with were nice and pleasant. Decent hapoy hour prices on some drinks. Would absolutely return. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails and burgers.

A Cerebral Brewing Vital Linguistics (Japanese-inspired Witbier.)

It's a quaint little place. I stopped in for an after dinner drink because I read they pour a variety of Colorado brewed beers. My beer - a Vital Linguistics Japanese-inspired Witbier from Cerebral Brewing - was fantastic. The conversation with some locals and a bartender was better. We ended trying out some Colorado whiskeys and bourbons - the Deerhammer American Single Malt Whiskey stole the show. Then we moved to dessert, which I washed down with a root beer float. I'd like to return to try the menu, but until I do, I'm confident that you can find a good happy hour or after dinner drink. If you can't - I have faith that the staff will recommend something to you.

This is what $16 nachos looks like, once you've eaten about $8 worth of them.

I see some people who wonder why this place is not rated higher, I would invite such people to look at the photo of my $16 BBQ nachos (half-eaten, but barely), which is perhaps the single grimmest plate of nachos I've had in years. I mean, the vibe and atmosphere and location is decent and all restaurants are overpriced these days, so I'll give them an extra star for that. But you cannot be serious serving nachos like that.

Loaded tater tots, hush puppies, Caesar salad

A fuel up place between bars, open late(r) We ordered: - loaded tater tots: good but so salty we only made it through half - Caesar salad: overdressed but classic and hit the spot for some vegetables - hush puppies: I was so full I didn't eat much of these but they tasted classic! Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - limited street parking nearby

So after class my classmates had happy hour at Colorado Campfire.. My first time at the venue and I may come back maybe. Why the maybe ? It's a cute space in "Uptown" a part of Downtown Denver. It's definitely a place to watch sports: basketball and football, big screen TVs. But the food wasn't that good but it wasn't that bad, possibly because I ordered a simple turkey BLT and fries. The fries weren't the greatest - seems as if I got the bottom of the basket. My coke was great, strong kick and great for my sandwich! So the service was on point, quick, fast and easy ! And that's what matters, how they made me feel and the service! So I might just go back and try something else.

Not sure why this place isn't rated higher but we had a good experience! My partner and I shared a Campfire Burger and it was juicy and delicious, especially because of the caramelized onion jam. I also got what I assume is their most popular cocktail; Mallow on the Graham which included a toasted marshmallow on top. It was sooo good! A dessert cocktail for sure. I wonder if it's always that strong because the one I got was boozy for sure! Endless options for beer too and my partner got a brown ale that he enjoyed.

What a treat! Colorado Campfire was such a sweet spot. We came here in between some of the fringe festival shows and we didn't have a ton of time. I would love to come back some time and really just get to hang out and enjoy the spot more. But they got our food out very quickly and it was still hot fresh and so delicious! Excellent drinks as well. Very friendly service from everyone that was working and serving and doing their thing here. Love that it is also a place that is welcoming for all !

Denver, we are back! We stopped by Colorado Campfire for dinner and a beer after dropping our bags off at our hotel, which was about a half mile walk from there to here. The weather was so nice that we decided to sit on their dog-friendly patio. Coming from Las Vegas, where we've dealt with record breaking heat over the summer and into the fall months, sitting outside on a restaurant patio in Denver was comfortable for once. It wasn't busy at all for a Wednesday night so we were seated right away. They have a pretty decent menu, but because their beer menu is so big (about 70+ beers on tap), it was only accessible through a QR code. They had so many beers available that it was a little difficult to choose just one! My parents also had difficulty choosing what beer they wanted as well. These were our following beer selections - I got the Slice of Paradise from Second Dawn Brewing Co., which had the flavors of blueberries and raspberries included. My dad got the Solid Hex from TRVE Brewing Co., which included watermelon puree. My mom got the Undead Apumpalyptica from Wiley Roots Brewing, which was a pumpkin spice barley wine, appropriate for this time of year. They had some excellent beers here and I want to try more on my next visit. We shared an appetizer of pretzel bites before moving on to their entrees. One complaint that my parents had about this was that they didn't have the texture nor the taste of an actual pretzel bite on the outside, where it was also lacking salt. They said that it was more of a sourdough bite than a pretzel bite, and I can confirm that this is true. Our entrees were the veggie burger with fries for me, the turkey bacon club with tater tots for my dad, and the chicken pesto panini with tater tots for my mom. My mom doesn't eat fries and asked for tater tots as an alternative. The veggie burger was delicious, including the jam that was topped with it. My parents liked their sandwiches but said that both were a little too salty. We really enjoyed this place! We'll have to come back again on our next trip to Denver.

We had a great meal at Colorado Campfire. Cocktails were very tasty, large beer menu, and good service! We all thought the pickle burger could be a little more pickle forward, but the tots were delicious. We would definitely come again.

Instagram got me. I saw the s'mores old fashioned in an ad and was sold. This place was cute! Food was good drinks were better. Pro tip add an extra mallow to your drink! If you don't, you'll wish you did.

The food was delicious. It seems a very simple subtle menu but the food is flavorful and well seasoned. I sat on the patio and the atmosphere definitely matched the name; it was a fun and relaxing experience. The drinks were great and our waiter did an amazing job dealing with our indecisiveness and newbie questions LOL! Will visit again!

Lamb and mint burger with a side salad.

We came here unexpectedly lather live in the neighborhood. Usually it's packed to the gills and appears noisy from the street. We came on a Monday night at 7pm and had our pick of in and out. Lots of bar space and patio if we had brought the dog. Service was fast and efficient. Friendly staff from start to finish. Food... lamb and mint burger, cooked medium, with a side salad and fries. Not bad but not quite the taste combo we expected. The fries had a mild Smokey taste which was very nice. Chicken teriyaki sandwich with tots. This was tasty but a tad too savory. The chicken was so damn big there was no way I was getting the sandwich in my mouth so I hacked it up with a knife which seemed more appropriate. Getting bits of chicken, slaw, bread and pickles would be the perfect taste but hard to accomplish as a mega sandwich. See pics! The tots were spiced up and also very savory and a hint of smoke too. Very unique. We didn't drink but the water was cold and plentiful! I would def return and try the burger and nachos as those looked very tasty on nearby tables. I counted 70 beers on tap, a well stocked selection of whiskey if beer isn't your thing. Lots of seating options and it seems likely that you could bring a good sized group here and find a place to sit. The booths accommodate 6 reasonably sized humans.
