The entire time she was answering the phone, making & writing appointments down, also getting up to assist people multiple times during my spa pedicure...umm, not cool but okay. She was rushing to file my nails and cute me pretty bad. She said the file was sharp but actually the file was dusty and needed replaced. The tech needed to slow down. My toe is still in pain days later. I also just noticed last night that my polish is chipped, which is why I'm writing this review! It's Christmas Eve, and 1 day of working from home, not going outside, and somehow my polish is chipped, smh...$60 bucks later, my toe hurts and my polished is chipped. Needless to say, I will not be frequenting this establishment again. Update: 3 hrs after my initial post, more polish chipped off. What a waste of time, money, effort and pain. The price is higher than other places, but I was okay with that because I initially liked the service. However, when I went to pay, the woman who did my nails seemed upset about the tip. I said thank you and bye she didn't reply. I decided to give the salon another chance because it's close by. Unfortunately, this time the pedicure was poorly done. The corners of my toenails were not properly cleaned or cut, and there is still nail polish on my skin, and my nails hurts. Now I need to spend money again going to another place to fix it. I actually put off going because I just don't like the fact I'm sitting there for a while. (Now a pedicure, I could sit for hours). I was skeptical, but I just needed to get my nails done and I wanted to see if they would do a good job. Well, that did not happen. I had Mia who put so much hard gel on my nails. It looks like I had tips put on. Aside from that, she cut my cuticle and then left chrome powder in the area near my cuticles so my nails look ridiculous. I don't understand how this is ok. Unfortunately I didn't notice until this morning seeing my nails in the sun. They are rough and lumpy. Well, the new salon is beautiful it's supposed to be a relaxing environment and it is definitely not. The sound of the door letting you know that a customer has walked in and just the amount of people that are in there at all times is just insane. I will never be going back again, but I promise you this. I will be back tomorrow so that they can fix this crappy job because on top of everything else I tipped Mia 20% and now that I'm looking at my nails in the sun, they look like a third grader did them.

I've been getting soak-off gel manicures for many years and never have I had someone remove all of the soak-off gel with an electric nail file (no soak). Not only that but they prime the cuticle for cutting with the electric file as well with no oil or pre-soak. Every time I've gotten my nails done here my nails split down the side, which I've never had happen before, and have major "ring of fire" lines post-removal due to the excessive filing of the nail bed. I've gone here several times since I've moved to the area hoping that it was just an "off visit" - but each time I'm met with the same service and after effect. Again, the employees are lovely but unfortunately, my nails can't withstand the damage inflicted.

Kiki ran through my service like it was a race. She won and lost at the same time.
