I just moved into the area and this was my 1st time here, but okay that's fine. The entire time she was answering the phone, making & writing appointments down, also getting up to assist people multiple times during my spa pedicure...umm, not cool but okay. She was rushing to file my nails and cute me pretty bad. She said the file was sharp but actually the file was dusty and needed replaced. The tech needed to slow down. My toe is still in pain days later. I also just noticed last night that my polish is chipped, which is why I'm writing this review! It's Christmas Eve, and 1 day of working from home, not going outside, and somehow my polish is chipped, smh...$60 bucks later, my toe hurts and my polished is chipped. Needless to say, I will not be frequenting this establishment again. Update: 3 hrs after my initial post, more polish chipped off. What a waste of time, money, effort and pain. The first nail tech I had was Hao, but when he was unavailable he recommended I check out Sam. They're both good. Sam is ALWAYS up for a challenge & keeps me happy when I want my crazy designs. My husband also likes for her to do his gel manicures. The spa pedicures could def be longer, & at times I feel like the regular pedicures are rushed but overall it's a fun experience getting serviced here. You just have to choose your tech carefully, everyone's work is different. I haven't had any real complaints until this week. I called the store to ask their closing time & was told 8pm. On several occasions while there late, customers walk in & are still able to get a quick service done which is why I walked in. Two things that rubbed me the wrong way about this experience.. 1) The woman who answered the phone picked up & said "hello.. so I asked "is this Oc Nail? She replied yes. You should never, ever answer a business phone line this way; it's very unprofessional. 2) Upon arriving at the store a little after 7:30pm after a 30 min drive I encountered the woman who answered the phone & explained that I need a fill-in or one nail repaired. I was told they're closed, they took the last person @ 7:30pm. I asked if my nail could be repaired, again was told there's no one to repair it. I stressed my concerns to her about how she answered the phone & knowing what to say & what not to say because you don't know if you're speaking to an existing customer, a new customer or possibly someone looking to walk in for a quick service.. people are human, things often come up @ the last min, you have to expect any & all circumstances. I spoke to the owner & she also agreed with the lady so according to them I was in the wrong one & should never feel like that as a customer. My frustration stems from the lack of communication. Normally, another girl answers the phone. She always respectful, knows what to say & ask when customers call...her customer service is top notch. At any establishment, an owner is set to a high standard while ensuring their customers are satisfied. I'm usually satisfied with the service but wasn't satisfied with the way things were handled. Overall the business has a lot of potential, the owner's attention to detail is on point & they're work is good.. they just have to do better with communication.

I understand that not every set will be perfect, but I expected better communication if the design couldn't be achieved or suggestions for an alternative. We waited briefly, about six minutes, in the seating area before being escorted upstairs. Our massages were one hour and included full body and hot stones. The ladies who worked with us were professional, kind, and attentive. They focused on pressure points without being invasive, and both my husband and I felt completely relaxed and cared for. We already knew we would return. As we were leaving and getting into our car, one of the staff members came outside to let us know that our package also included a facial, which we hadn't received. We hadn't even realized it was missing. She told us she would provide another gift certificate so we could come back for the facials. That level of honesty and integrity goes a very long way with us.
