First time here. Will definitely come back. Friendly service, reasonable prices. We got the plates and let our imagination do the drawing. For 2 kids and medium size plate was about $60

This location of color me mine is truly wonderful, I used to go to the Pleasanton one but not anymore, the overall quality of this location is so much nicer. They also provide a large amount of more tools like to do details and the paint brushes are way more variety and cleaner. Staff is so nice and helpful and I never had to ask for anything, everything was super clean and I went on a weekday and it was nice and peaceful and I would definitely come here all the times I want to paint from now on. Definitely come to this location to try it out!

A surprise visit for my granddaughter. She pointed out to me that there were several grandmothers there at the same time as us with their granddaughters. Very organized place very kind staff. Everyone was very attentive.

Great spot for all ages! Took my toddler here to paint a pumpkin. I had been here before many times but I think they have undergone new ownership. It has a more "modern" aesthetic to it now. Plus they have a sweet mascot now :) Mochi!

Is the paint toxic? I was planning on making a bowl but I dont want to eat off it if the paint is toxic

I think it might be toxic. Might be better to make a statue or something ?

    What are the prices?

    Very expensive 😂😂

Do you have to make appointments?

We are a walk-in studio, and you are welcome to drop in. We do take reservations for parties, and that can be a useful option if you have a large group.

She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.

There were a couple other parties with young children and she was so patient and cheerful. Her energy and positivity made our visit extra memorable, thank you Monica! When we arrived, because we were new the staff helped show us around, and explained the process. The area itself is super cute and cozy, with seating by the windows as well as large tables for bigger parties. We were able to pick up our pieces about 5 days later? And the staff were super nice and helpful then as well! I'm in love with how the finished pieces turned out after firing. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, they had some music playing and everything was neat and organized. I love that they show tiles of what the paint color will look like Turnaround time to pick up your piece is relatively quick: ~4 days (ie finish sunday, pick up thursday) They have a lot of tools / resources to help design your piece (ie tape, lace, stencils, puffy paint, etc) An area they could improve on is their brushes - I don't always love the brushes they provide since it feels like they've been misused (not their fault but could be prevented but informing customers on how to properly use brushes), so i usually bring my own. ***3.5 stars overall***…read more I took a friend to Color Me Mine for their birthday. This location was convenient but it was really small. I am glad I made a table reservation. (You put a $10 deposit on the table that ends up going towards your final bill.) Because of the long rectangular shape of the store, the staff sit in the middle of the store, so no one greets you when you walk in. Thus, we were a little confused when we entered -- not knowing if we look for our table first or look for a ceramic piece first? Or do we check in somewhere? A greeting from the staff would have solved this. Without leaving their counter, someone briefly and hurriedly explained the process and locations of everything, and left us to begin. Even though I had done this before, it was my first time at this store and it was my friend's first painting pottery ever, and we were both lost, even after her mini tutorial. (I have been to pottery painting places where they walk you to the paint area to get you started, as an example of comparison.) Thankfully I remembered things from previous experiences that the painted ceramic tiles by the paint bottles with 3 squares symbolize what the different layers would look like after firing. (This is critical knowledge that the staff should point out to each group, so we'd understand how each layer of paint looks when dried/fired because sometimes we may want to paint 3 layers of paint, but not always. It was crucial to understand how to reference these tiles!) The paints and brushes were in one corner; the sink and paper towels were around the corner in the back of the store; and there was one main shelf of unpainted pottery choices (with a range of prices, but after adding in your $10 a person sitting fee, the final cost adds up, so be sure you like the piece you choose!) We chose to paint one large piece together rather than 2 smaller pieces. To make the look more cohesive, we chose colors within a certain range (lavenders and yellows/orange), and then we didn't look at the each other's side! It was very fun. **Some Things To Note** - Your table reservation gives you 2 hours. (We finished in that time but we also didn't do a lot of detailed work. I actually think most people would need more time than that if you choose a large ceramic or are painting details.) - The tables are pretty close together, so you don't get much privacy. We all heard each other's conversations. It was also very narrow to walk between the tables when people were painting, so it may not be a place to bring active kids who can't sit still for long periods of time. - It looks like they allow outdoor food because many were bringing their own snacks. I brought in an outside drink, which I'm glad I did because it was warm and you sit there for hours. - They do have a bathroom, if anyone is wondering. - It may take a week for them to get to your ceramic piece, glaze and fire it, but we got a text that it was ready around 4 days after painting it. It is a fun experience to paint pottery, as long as you can afford it and feel comfortable approaching the counter to ask your questions because the staff doesn't seem like they go out of their way to offer help unfortunately.

They have everything laid out on the tables for you; paint color palette to choose your paint colors, paint tray, water, white butcher paper on each table. They then bring pencils and paintbrushes to you as well. The employee helping us explained the process in detail and was there every step of the way when we needed help. There is a separate room for parties here which is nice for both party guests and for the other customers just going to paint. Looks like you can bring in trays of food to the party room, which is a nice feature. I found the painting experience here to be fun, clean and very organized.
