Coasters Set and Studio Fee -- around $60, wish they had longer hours on some week days for working folks! Lots of fun colors to choose from, but not all pottery pieces as seen on the website were available at the studio. Fun experience with all sorts of tools to help assist with your art piece in mind. Super beginner friendly and adult friendly!

Super cute spot for a painting date! It's in a quaint plaza with Trader Joes and many restaurant options as well. The staff were super nice and accommodating to us as we stayed all the way until closing. The pieces turned out great and were ready in a few weeks for pick-up. The colors showed up really well given 2-3 coats of paint. Would come back!!

Overview: Great service, fun and creative activity! I've always passed by this place when walking through South Shore, and I finally got to try it out during their Pajama Night! ---- Pricing: - Studio fees are usually $10 per person, but on Pajama Night, it's only $1 per person - Ceramic item prices vary depending on size and complexity, starting around $20 - I chose a cute mug with little feet and a smiley face for $26.50, and my boyfriend picked a standard 12oz mug for $23 ---- Experience: When we arrived, the staff welcomed us and explained the process, which was super helpful. We picked a table and looked at the wide variety of ceramic items on the shelves to choose our pieces. After selecting your piece, you're given a glaze palette showing how the colors will look after firing. Each color has a number, and you fill out a palette card with up to seven colors. You can either have the staff get your colors or grab them yourself at the back of the studio, where all the painting supplies are located. The studio offers a variety of tools for painting, including brushes of different sizes, sponges, stamps, masking tape, and squeezy bottles. They also have specialty glazes available for $6.50 each. There are two sinks for washing up and a paper towel dispenser. To achieve an opaque and even color after firing, three coats of glaze are recommended. The coats dry relatively quickly but plan to spend an hour or more painting. We spent about two hours painting, but honestly, I could've stayed much longer! ---- Facilities: - Plenty of seating, mostly two-seaters, but tables can be pushed together - There's a larger table in the back for private parties - The space is a bit tight between tables, so walking around to browse ceramics can feel cramped It takes about a week to have your pieces fired and ready for pickup. Unfortunately, during firing, my piece chipped near the handle, but the staff was incredibly kind and offered to reserve the same item for me so I could paint a new one. ---- Overall: This experience was so so fun! You can take as much time as you want to work on your piece, it's a bit expensive but it's absolutely worth it for a unique, personal ceramic. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the whole process was super enjoyable. I'll definitely be back!

Have time to spare and want to have fun and relax? Try pottery painting at Color me Mine in Alameda at Southshore. Our server Max was super helpful and friendly not only to us but all patrons. The time just flew by! They actually have a little mini fridge with drinks up front that you can purchase. We didn't see this so stepped out to Daiso to purchase drinks. Cannot wait to pick up our pieces!

Wow. Such a fun experience. I had been going to Brushstrokes in Berkeley for several years. I think I like this place more, because not only is it not near water and completely cold, but the vibes here are less stressful. When I had gone a couple weeks ago, there were Lots of large groups of kids and families. But didn't seem overly crowded. There were two separate rooms, but connected by some free space. I felt super encouraged by the staff there of what I was doing, if we had any questions, and I love how they have a choice of color palettes rather than relying on us to choose colors. They have more of a variety of items to choose from. The last time I did a butter dish at Brushstrokes, I was in high school and didn't know what I was doing. I am an artist as well, so painting was just another niche I had picked up a while ago. Will definitely be coming back.

This place was really cute. It's near the pathway by Applebees and across from the ice cream store. There was planting parking. There were quite a few options of pieces to choose from to paint. The space felt clean and bright. The customer service was also really good. The people were friendly, helpful, and attentive to refilling the pain colors once they ran low. They had kids size aprons and seems to be a cute place to bring kids to do a hands on activity. They said it will take about 7-10 days to get the final piece.

Normally I love this place but this time it's taken over two weeks to get my pottery and I still don't have it . I was promised 7 days and I have called everyday to see if our pottery has been finished and everyday they tell me it should be done tomorrow. Very disappointed in their service. I wish I had a picture to post but I still don't have my pottery

Top notch place We had a group of friends that had never been here before. Including myself. It was clean, friendly and very fun. It's a small thing to be able to share a very therapeutic event with each other. Taking people's minds off of the stress of the world, and diving into the painting process that in the end will be very enlightening. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone needing to interact with your childhood fun times of painting and laughter. After almost 3 hours which went very quickly, all of the group was happy that we spent the evening doing something fun. Thank you to the ladies running this spot. They were helpful and informative

We had a very nice time. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't realize they did birthday parties here. There is a back area separate from the main area where they allow large groups. There were so many items to choose from. There is a $10 fee, and you add that on top of whatever pottery piece you choose. My mug was $18. Plus the fee. So it was $28. For a one of a kind personalized item, I find that price completely reasonable. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the paint container. We had to constantly flag down the employees for more paint.

There was a wide range of glazes available for you to paint with. My only gripe was the condition the paintbrushes were in.. I was not able to find a brush for finer details and most of the paintbrushes were old with fraying brushes. The total price depends on the piece or pieces that you choose to paint. After waiting for a while an associate comes out and roughly explains what the process is and disappears again- fine by me but I know a fist timer would be pretty confused. The color selection is very poor. They have a row of colors just plain colors, much less than what I've seen other places. The pottery options are also pretty lackluster and pricey for what they are. The positive part of this rating goes to the lovely associate that helped us the first time. She was lovely and kind, but my overall frustration that led me to this overall rating was picking up my pottery today. Again was not very fully and I see a line of people at the front. Cool I get it. But the associate had not a single sense of urgency in her. She just slowwwwwwly walked to the back looked around slowwwwly came back. Once it was my turn she didn't even ask why I was here just stared at me so I told her I was picking up and she asks for a picture of the item..? Wtf? Not even a name phone number or email that they require when dropping off my items but a picture? I had to scroll and find them. Once I show her she's like..ok when were you here? Geez do you want my outfit details that day too? How ridiculous. They need a better sorting system I saw her looking around and several pieces. Then she sloooowwlly comes over to me and dumps my plates on a table nearby and some crumpled bags next to it and just says "ok you can look at them" and leaves to the back again. Frustrated I get my pieces and dip. I don't know if it's because I've been to muuuuch better where they also treat me better. But this place was such a let down. Also picky side note the music they put sucks.

She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.
