My friend and I were in York looking for a good place to grab a bite. I found this place on Yelp and we decided to try it. It was a clean, welcoming place with friendly staff. You order at the bar and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready to be picked up at the window. My friend was excited because they had bourbon and burgers, which hit the spot for her. She got a black and bleu burger with a side salad and raved about the burger. I opted for a gyro with fries, and a German pilsner. My sandwich was good, but I thought it needed more tomatoes and onions. The fries had a kick and were a very generous sized portion. Went with the bartenders suggestion of the Rei Rei Sauce (Combination of Mango Habanero Sauce, Thai Chili Sauce and a smoky BBQ Sauce as described by the bartender). Apparently they made it for a regular patron, and it was so good, it made it to the menu. . Wings were "naked" decent size and cooked rather crispy. I'm usually a hot and honey guy, so this was a bit more spicy than my norm, but it wasn't burn my butt off hot. Good mix of flavors in that sauce. What a TREAT. Amazing beer, their Oktoberfest beer was killer and so was their pumpkin beer. Their food was also so. Good. Truly fab Ruben, my partner loved his bahn mi. Stumbled upon this neighborhood gem (wait, aren't I supposed to stumble OUT?) when I was in town for a funeral. Yelp never lets me down when I'm in an unfamiliar town with a hankering for craft brew. Lots of beer to choose from on their chalk boards. Nice selection of food items which didn't seem to be traditional bar food. Walking in, the place had a great vibe- cozy local brewery spot-I loved the outdoor graffiti & indoor wall art- They offered a massive variety of beers- we opted for creating a flight, choosing 5 IPAs- the staff was friendly about offering a sample or two before we committed to picking which 5 But beerwise, I averaged each beer around 1-2untapped stars- all were pretty basic, with no distinguishing pop of flavor- When checking out, the bartender had run up a few of our tasters as full pours- and when I noticed the bill seemed very (ridiculously) high for one flight- she said no that's write, I had to push a bit to get an itemized receipt, then noticed the error & got the correct bill- We pit stopped here driving through the area, & I do love exploring new breweries, so I never regret visiting- but it wouldn't be a place I specifically stop next road trip- just lacking unique quality crisp hops- wanted to like it because the ambiance, but fell flat read more

Everything about Collusion Tap Works was cool to me as soon as our beer tour van turned into the alley to near the brewery. Collusion is surrounded by awesome murals on essentially every building in the area. It's super cool to walk around before or after a visit here. That said, Collusion is a very nice venue. It has a rustic modern beer vibe. There were a ton of beers available and there were enough I was interested in to get a flight. I also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. I was quickly provided the flight and given a buzzer for the food. I sat at a long expanse of bar and sampled my flight. I didn't like all the beers but I love a flight's ability to give me non-committed quick samples, so it was all good. The [pimento] grilled cheese was something else and I ate every bite! Amazing time this chilly afternoon at Collusion. Started with Soft Pretzel , Fried pickles and the Brussels Sprouts. Pub sauce and beer cheese were fantastic and beers were on point . L I S T E N! When I say you've got to try the southern belle Burger, I mean it! Now, I lived in the South for quite some time so I can tell you that this is one of the best pimento cheeseburgers I've had outside of the South. The cheese is the right consistency. It's not that thick and pasty cheese. The burger's got a really good beef flavor and they are juicy while having that crisp on the outside. (If you like burgers like Steak and Shake or Freddy's Burgers and Custard then you'll know what I'm talking about. For those of you that don't: the burgers are smashed and there's 2 patties, but still juicy). The bacon is crispy but on the edges it's a little chewy. But it's good. Then, there's the dang tot. Y'all better get you some of this. And let me tell you about this TAPWORKS CHEESESTEAK. You'll need stealthy nav skills to find this place the first time but once there, you'll be glad you did the heavy lifting. Lori and I hit them up mid-afternoon on a Saturday and were surprised (not surprised, read on...) by the packed house. Collusion is a terrific neighborhood brewery with a wonderful chalkboard of brew variety waiting for every palette. I'm a bitter/hoppy guy and they always have something drafted to satisfy; Lori prefers lagers and she never has trouble quenching her thirst. It happened to be the tail end of restaurant week too and the food was amazing. First time in York. Found this place on Yelp. So glad we found our way here! Burger was awesome, juicy and very flavorful. The Cuban sandwich was spot on. Tots and fries were not your every day taters! The spice on them was a nice surprise. Kudos to the kitchen. Give That Bread was a wonderful witbier. My favorite was the Public Disco Porter. What a wonderful afternoon! Great location. My wife and I each ordered a flight and shared. Easy enough to do with the wide variety of brews on tap. The offering was about 50% ipas (not a favorite of mine) and a variety of other brews. Awesome variety though and every beer we tried was great. The food was on point - I had a spicy burger that had pickled jalapeños and dusted with ghost pepper along with fries. My wife had a grilled cheese with fries - both were delicious. I might add that the fries were very generous and done perfectly. The vibe inside is good - laid back and not stuffy at all, there is no table service - you Order at the bar which was fine. Def on our return list the next time we are near York. A nice vibe inside, but I believe the menu is entirely too expensive for what is produced by the brewery. The food was extremely subpar. I got a $13 salad that was probably worth $7 if that. Hoping that downtown York can have a revival like our sister city, Lancaster, did this past decade. There are actual restaurants and bars popping up in the downtown. Keep it up! There's some sense of community brewing at Collusion Tap House. I'm in love with their Dune beer. It is incredibly high alcohol content and is dangerously tasty. Drink responsibly, folks! The inside is modern and has some whimsy. A bunch of folks were playing board games. Check out the murals outside. Come here for a wide variety of micro-brews. And come early, the taps will run out on the popular ones. I didn't try the food but they do have fun happy hour specials like taco Tuesday. I'll be back. Parking lot can be full on first Friday. But at least that is an option. It's also connected to the cantina back alley, so you can check out that spot and murals, too! read more

I really enjoy this place, the beer is good and the food is great. Crabby fries are the best thing on the menu I have tried so far. Each beer I tried has also been good but a lot of the IPAs taste pretty similar. It is a good place to go out and relax in. This place is freakin' amazing! My wife and I are big craft beer nerds, so we were excited to try Collusion. It was super busy when we arrived, but snagged two seats at the bar. They brew others that are creative takes on various styles, and still others that are experimental. The beers are clean and tasty. Bar is a cool atmosphere. Evelectic mix of old & new. Collusion has some of the best craft beer in York. They definitely put out a great product. The food that they also offer is pretty good for a brewery. It is definitely one of my go to spot for hanging out at a brewery. I gave it four stars because I felt that on average of the staff could be a little more friendlier and conversational in respect to the product. I've tried several different times every time I've been in there to strike up conversation and make connections but to no avail. The exception is the head brewer's wife.
