Stumbled upon this neighborhood gem (wait, aren't I supposed to stumble OUT?) when I was in town for a funeral. Yelp never lets me down when I'm in an unfamiliar town with a hankering for craft brew. Lots of beer to choose from on their chalk boards. Nice selection of food items which didn't seem to be traditional bar food. Nice employees, spacious and comfy bar and seating area, plus a great carry out case. CTWs can be found on the Untapped App also so you can see reviews of the beers before you try. Will definitely return to this place. Awesome murals painted around this place, creating a very cool hipster vibe.

Everything about Collusion Tap Works was cool to me as soon as our beer tour van turned into the alley to near the brewery. Collusion is surrounded by awesome murals on essentially every building in the area. It's super cool to walk around before or after a visit here. That said, Collusion is a very nice venue. It has a rustic modern beer vibe. There were a ton of beers available and there were enough I was interested in to get a flight. I also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. I was quickly provided the flight and given a buzzer for the food. I sat at a long expanse of bar and sampled my flight. I didn't like all the beers but I love a flight's ability to give me non-committed quick samples, so it was all good. The [pimento] grilled cheese was something else and I ate every bite! Service was good. Excellent visit overall!

Really glad we stopped here after a day of volleyball in York PA. Great food, friendly service and respectable beers from a local venue. Very nice venue well laid out for a micro brewery. Highly recommend.

Part of the beer menu. Stronkybonk was tried.

We stopped here with friends. Beer selection was really good. Lots of menu options and the staff was friendly. We'd definitely go back to try more beer and food.

Amazing time this chilly afternoon at Collusion. Started with Soft Pretzel , Fried pickles and the Brussels Sprouts. Pub sauce and beer cheese were fantastic and beers were on point . Beer: Ellie was a huge hit and also enjoyed a flight or two trying various types. Delicious. Burgers all around which were so good. Fun time during Football playoffs. Will be back !

Southern belle burger with candied jalapeños on the side

L I S T E N! When I say you've got to try the southern belle Burger, I mean it! Now, I lived in the South for quite some time so I can tell you that this is one of the best pimento cheeseburgers I've had outside of the South. The cheese is the right consistency. It's not that thick and pasty cheese. The burger's got a really good beef flavor and they are juicy while having that crisp on the outside. (If you like burgers like Steak and Shake or Freddy's Burgers and Custard then you'll know what I'm talking about. For those of you that don't: the burgers are smashed and there's 2 patties, but still juicy). The bacon is crispy but on the edges it's a little chewy. But it's good. Then, there's the dang tot. Y'all better get you some of this. And let me tell you about this TAPWORKS CHEESESTEAK. It's so good I wanted another! the beef is tender, good flavor, and that beer cheese is so smooth and juicy in the sandwich. It'll make you want to smack yo' mama!

Great soot in downtown York, PA. Nice selection of beers to suit virtually any taste. Fast and friendly service at the bar, including helpful recommendations if you need them.

Love Collusion. I'm not much of a beer drinker but my boyfriend is and he really likes their beer. They have some good selections now for non-beer drinkers too! All of their food is delicious. Can't go wrong with what you choose. As far as service, you order food at bar and pick up from window, but all of the workers are super friendly and helpful. There is also outdoor seating which is really nice!

So great brews in these flights!

What a wonderful afternoon! Great location. My wife and I each ordered a flight and shared. Easy enough to do with the wide variety of brews on tap. The offering was about 50% ipas (not a favorite of mine) and a variety of other brews. Awesome variety though and every beer we tried was great. The food was on point - I had a spicy burger that had pickled jalapeños and dusted with ghost pepper along with fries. My wife had a grilled cheese with fries - both were delicious. I might add that the fries were very generous and done perfectly. The vibe inside is good - laid back and not stuffy at all, there is no table service - you Order at the bar which was fine. Def on our return list the next time we are near York. Lastly I'd add that I'm mobility impaired so it's important to me that any location be accessible - this place is perfect - wide open spaces - no steps and easy to maneuver.

Got drinks - my husband was delighted with the beer options and loved the single hop All Citra the best, and he is a beer snob (in the best way!). The Sauvignon blanc was ok, but I realize that is not their focus. We had calamari to share - good flavor, but more pillowy than crisp. The platters are the way to go - $20 for a ridiculous amount of terrific food! The pulled pork was smoky, tender and homemade sauces were perfect. Sides of coleslaw, beans and a cornbread muffin were all tasty and a nice sized serving. I had enough left for another whole meal! The brisket was awesome too - got a chunk from my husband. Our server was Allie - she did a great job - there when we needed her, knowledgeable and nice as could be! The food is served quickly, which was nice if you are traveling. Overall, a fun experience in a beautiful setting and a very reasonable price.

The server did a great job with making sure that our drinks were filled, and we had to go boxes and brought our food out in a timely manner. Some of the appetizer choices were the calamari, fried kale and crab claw lollipops. All three were absolutely outstanding, and the portions were large. For dinner, our choices are rockfish, lobster, mac & cheese, filet mignon, or grilled chicken green curry. Again, the portion sizes were large and everyone enjoyed their meals. We were able to choose from a flourless chocolate torte or cheesecake. I forgot to mention that the Caesar salad was so fresh and the dressing was outstanding. I would like to come back and experience the restaurant and their entire menu. The upstairs had a fun, urban feel with a fireplace and a cool bar. We felt comfortable and it was a fun vibe.

You see, back in 17th century England, private houses would open their homes to the public and sell food and beer. Hence, public house. Over time, they dropped the "lic house" and just called them pubs. Because you never dropped the "lic house" makes me think that you haven't evolved like you should have. And frankly, your food is proof. In fact, it even made me nostalgic. But not in the way you might think. You see, I loved making fun food concoctions when I was a kid. My sister and I would watch this corny show called "Zoom" on Maryland public television, where the kid hosts would make recipes sent in from all over the country. We'd make homemade peanut butter cups using Jif and semisweet chocolate chips. Or weird sandwich combinations like pickles and potato chips and cheese and jelly. The seafood egg rolls weren't the worst part of my meal, but they were definitely sophomoric--as if a kid chef-in-training was asked to whip something up from Chinese food leftovers. Seafood should never taste fishy, yet these did. One bite hit me like something that had been sitting a little too long above the waterline. Not to mention, they were laying on a greasy glob of some mayonnaise accompaniment disguised as a fancy garnish you'd see on MasterChef. One word: Ick. The ahi tacos. Oh boy. My mind fills with seawater the moment I think of them because they tasted as if they had been fished right out of the ocean and then placed on my plate. They were wet. Soaked. Drenched. The gelatinous seaweed clump on each taco wasn't culinary-forward, just unappetizing. I took one bite and wished I could spit it back out, but I reluctantly swallowed it. My esophagus is now aquaphobic thanks to you. The moment the coconut jasmine rice hit my mouth, my tastebuds took the red eye to the coconut tree haven of the Maldives. Normally, this wouldn't be a bad thing, but the rice and coconut had no cohesion. It tasted like my younger self dumping a handful of shredded coconut--the sweetened kind my mom kept in the pantry for the wool on her Easter-shaped lamb cake--into a cup of microwaveable rice. The only redeeming aspect of our meal was your kind, charismatic waiter. He was lovely in every way--attentive, sweet, and helpful. He would have been an incredible host on "Zoom." If only his personality made the food taste better. For your sake, I hope you learn to evolve your kitchen's offerings beyond the amateurish trio I experienced. If not, your restaurant's bones may end up fossilized alongside every other place that couldn't adapt.

It sounds bold, and it is, but it works beautifully. The broth is rich and deeply savory, the cheese pull is perfect, and the crispy rings add a texture you never knew the classic was missing. The pork chop remains the star of the menu--huge, expertly seasoned, and cooked with precision. It's widely considered the best in the city, and honestly might be the best in the state. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor, it's the kind of entrée you end up recommending to friends for weeks. Their octopus is another standout, prepared with surprising delicacy. Tender, not chewy, with a perfect char that adds just the right amount of smokiness. It's balanced, refined, and one of the most memorable small plates you'll find locally. And don't leave without dessert--the crème brûlée is phenomenal. Silky smooth custard under a flawlessly torched sugar crust that cracks just right. Simple, classic, and executed perfectly. Between the inventive dishes and the warm atmosphere, The First Post remains a must-visit for anyone who loves great food done exceptionally well.
