Complimentary Italian bread and oil
John M.

Located on the Northwest side of Chicago, this 4 generation family owned and operated establishment has evolved into a neighborhood favorite. Their menu is extensive with a huge selection of appetizers, soups, salads, pizza, sandwiches, pastas and desserts. Service is amazing and once we were seated we were brought complimentary Italian bread with olive oil and butter. Each dinner comes with either soup or salad. The Minestrone soup was very good..loaded with fresh vegetables and flavor. We had the Short Rib Bucatini which had a delicious tomato Ragu sauce . Portion was big enough to share. If you are looking for traditional Italian family recipes in a cozy setting, give Colletti's a try..you will not be disappointed.

I attended an industry-sponsored Lunch and Learn event. The fond memories this place brought back were a bit overwhelming. Colletti's has been a stable for decades. The interior has changed since the last time I was there. It seemed more spacious and meticulous. In addition to different dining sections, a party room can host events like the one I attended. Their delicious thin-crust cheese pizza was available while participants checked in. For lunch, we were served broasted chicken, Italian sausage with peppers, mashed potatoes, and green beans as sides. The chicken was outstanding. It was tender and succulent. The Italian sausage had a nice flavor and was enjoyable. To end the meal, we were treated to Italian Ice (not on the menu) and coffee. The staff was excellent and personable. There is a private parking lot with plenty of spaces. The overall ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Make sure to check out three framed historic menus on the walls. I highly recommend this place for a casual or intimate meal. You won't be disappointed.

Nice spot. Good outdoor space. Live music on the weekend on the patio. Friendly staff.

Love the new bar! Can't wait for some warm weather to try the new outdoor patio. Love the pizza and they have a great steak sandwich.

Love the thin crust pizza! Typically we order out here but I'm excited to go there for dinner after the nice looking renovation.

We were running a little late. I wanted to call and let them know. No one ever answered the phone…read more Rang until the line went dead. When we came to check in. The phone was ringing in the background the entire time. Several people in line. 2 people helping customers. One woman and one man. Woman helped everyone while man was on computer the entire time. Specifically asked for a room with 2 beds. Upon entering room noticed there was one bath towel. If there are 2 beds,. Why would you supply only one towel? Also one tiny bottle of shampoo. Had to go to front desk to get more towels. I assumed the next day when they made up the room they would catch that and correct it. I didn't know that the room was only made up once every five days? What hotel does this? I would not have minded had they told me when we checked in. My used towels were thrown on the bathroom floor. Again assuming like any normal hotel this would be taken care of by housekeeping. We were out all day Saturday visiting my son. When we returned there was no where to park. Luckily after driving around for quite awhile someone left and I was able to park way far away in the back. There was a wedding going on. Very noisy children running around and screaming until very early in the morning. No coffee for customers. (You could by a cup for $3.00.) I had two Keurigs that I used Saturday morning. I thought they would be replaced by housekeeping. (They would have if there were any.) I had recently returned from a trip of several days in the same areas. MIchigan, Illinois and Indiana. We stayed at several hotels. This was by far the worst one. I will not stay at a Holiday Inn again. The excuse that Covid is ruining everything cannot stand in this case. The other Hotels I stayed at were more than adequate. Why can't Holiday Inn do at least as well?

Mathew Bieszczat Volunteer Resource Center - I think this may be the golf course?

Today I visited the Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) near Edgebrook Woods. They held a program for Black History Month; I really want to support this type of cultural programming within the FPCC system, and it's an added bonus that it sounded interesting. The VRC is right near the Edgebrook Golf Course--the same entrance is for both. But unless you've been to an event here or go to the golf course, you're unlikely to known this was here. It's a really great event space which the FPCC rents out for various events. There's a different rate for county residents versus non-residents, and the cost differs for Monday-Thursday and Friday-Sunday dates. However, the rates seem really reasonable to me. There's a main room which is especially lovely; there's a large fireplace, high ceilings, and a lot of space--this room can hold 100 people. The classroom is much smaller and can accommodate up to 40. Both those spaces can be rented independently of one another, and I think you can rent portions of the golf course as well? All the information is on the webpage. The main room has a kitchen space as well so you can work with a caterer for your event. I wish I had an event for which I could use this space; I'll bet it's especially beautiful in the spring and summer. There are picnic tables just outside the indoor facility, and parking is plentiful as well.
