Gotta love Coldstone! It's a little pricey like all ice team shops are, but it's real good. This store is clean and the staff is great. They've got some good choices. There's spring flavors right now (I didn't try them but they look good). It sucks that it's a little far from where I am in Menifee, but it's worth the drive. Order wasn't ready, ice cream was nearly melted, they forgot my waffle bowl, and the was a hair in my ice cream! I am LIVID and DISGUSTED. Never had a pleasant experience here. We've been here maybe twice in the 9 years we've lived in the area because it's extremely pricey. My kids got gift cards for Christmas so we put it towards a birthday cake. A cake that feeds 6-8 people was smaller than the size of a dessert plate, it was not pretty at all, the writing on it wasn't completed, but the ice cream in the cake was yummy. We used the rest of the gift card to order a small ($8) milkshake in what looked like a kid's cup. We are used to Baskin Robbin's standards and I think this was just a one time deal for us and luckily it was free. WTF, Cold?! Your employees need some serious training in customer service. Maybe a phone call or a letter to your Corporate in AZ may help. When customers walk in, how about an "acknowledgement"? Don't just stare at the customer(s) when they are needing help. Seriously, you have employees that act like, "if I don't look up, they won't see me". To the point I got in the car and cried. His attitude was so poor and belittling to me. We ordered a cake for Father's Day they made it wrong and you can totally tell this location is cheaping out on the costs by skimping on the decorations $60 for watered down ganache, the cake was suppose to have chocolate ganache rosettes and candy instead they made these tiny vanilla buttercream drops with ONE of the candys broken up on top instead of using whole candies. We took it back for them to fix it and they made up an excuse that it would take 15 mins for them to fix it. So they added the wrong wafer toppers that were stale. The whole cake was flavorless and made sloppy u can even see where they scraped something off the top of the cake.... Maybe it was the happy Father's Day that I asked them to write on when I ordered and their excuse was we didn't see that on the order form so we didn't write anything. 5 stars for having a vegan ice cream (Silk Chocolate) and having vegan topping options (not difficult) and for service on both occasions to date. 3 stars for price (ice cream ain't cheap!). Big lot always plenty of parking. Kinda dingy inside and out with some seating but probably more better to take your ice cream to enjoy elsewhere. They could use a creamier peanut butter, didn't catch the brand but it was a very large "discount store" container, not horrible, but room for improvement. Will be back upon occasion for our vegan ice cream fix. It's convenient and I'm glad to have an option to take the kiddo out for ice cream. That's all for now folks! read more

Came in a couple of nights ago and right away, we were greeted with a smile. The young lady helping us asked us if we wanted to sample any of the ice creams. Of course, my kids said yes, lol. As our ice cream concoctions were made, she asked what toppings we wanted, and she was very patient with my daughter, as she changed her mind on a topping. That was great. The employees at this store are so professional and friendly. I ordered thru door dash and there was a very minimal issue with a add in. Still extremely good and edible. We ordered again tonight and mentioned the issue only to make sure it didn't happen this time. I have been to other Cold Stone locations and this one is not the best one, but still the great yummy ice cream you expect nonetheless. This location is similar to others. The place does get pretty busy, but is well worth it. I gave 3 stars because of the portions you get here. The customer service is good, but I think they are told to not be too generous or something, especially with the grahm cracker crust crumbs. They do let you sample flavors if you ask, though. The cleanliness of the place is acceptable, but on one occasion where I had to use their restroom, I thought it could be cleaner as there was seat liner and toilet paper stuffed in the toilet... I mean, I flushed it myself before I went, but, what do you expect for a public restroom? Not why you come here. You come here to get yummy ice cream! read more

I'm going to be honest, I come here every so often. I've written a great review awhile back. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. It seems to me that there are a few immature employees who are not only talking bad about other co-workers very loudly but customers. You can tell they do not want to help customers, they get very agitated when someone comes in. This needs to be fixed because now I feel uncomfortable coming in and ordering for my family because I get met with teenagers being extremely rude or annoyed. I took my daughters to their open free swim session at a place nearby and after doing such a great job, I wanted to reward them. My oldest daughter noticed the photos of ice cream and pointed it out. Also, he didn't ask me if it I wanted it in a cone, because that's what I wanted, but he just put it in a cup and took me to the register. For my daughter, I let her pick based on what she saw, she wanted the blue cotton candy and the guy behind the counter said it was gross. I know he was joking but he's saying it to a 3-year old, she doesn't get sarcasm, so she changed her mind to raspberry sorbet. She wanted rainbow spinkles on it and again, I picked her up to get it but he just took it to the register. So I gave it to her to sit down to start eating while I paid. She was eating her ice cream when he said that he doesn't like sprinkles so she looked at me like "should I eat it??" It made her sad and I told her it's fine, but it didn't want that to deter her from eating her ice cream. It was frustrating. He told us he has a 10-year old daughter at home and he was up all night practicing with his band. I said "that's nice" and he kept talking while I was trying to bond with my daughters. I come to this location quite a bit. I love Cold Stone and don't usually mind how expensive it is. I also love the staff here. The last few times I've come here though, they've been really skimping on the size, there's one young lady that is as sweet as pie but I always dread when she makes my order because she always makes it so small. Another issue, on our visit last night the older gentleman, I think he's the owner, super nice guy but he went from the register handling cash and then went and made orders. I pulled up to Coldstone in my car. I was in a good mood until my shoulder started tweaking with me gang. I went into the store and the customers weren't wearing masks and were being loud at the front of the line. The guy not wearing a mask at the front of the line told me I didn't have "island vibes" and I immediately felt deterred.
