I tried Afters for the first time today and really enjoyed the ice cream and service! There was only one person working. She was friendly and offered me some samples, which I took her up on. I tried the Biscoff flavor and the milk and cereal flavor but went with the Biscoff since I am a creature of habit when it comes to my ice cream and I like to stick to my usual. They also had some interesting and unique flavors that would've been fun to try, including an ube and a matcha. I asked the employee if they offer any sugar free options and they don't, so that would be great if they could offer that in the future. They do have some vegan options, which is nice. There was no seating indoors but there are some benches outside in the outdoor mall area. Overall, I had a great experience, and would recommend this if you're at the mall! read more

Before our wedding, we had Afters milky buns only once (several years ago too) and that was enough for us to decide to have them cater our wedding. And they were a HIT! Everyone kept talking about them! Some guests visited the ice cream shop the next day to get more and try more flavors! We're from Northern California, so this was a big thing for us We had 68 guests, 2 ice cream flavors, 3 toppings, and 40 milky buns. We probably should've gotten 80 milky buns because of how popular they were, but we had a dessert table too so we were advised not to get more. However, even when we ran out of buns, there was a lot of ice cream still for guests to enjoy Carlos was our main contact from beginning to end, and he was amazing! Gave great suggestions and was able to make wishes come true, like having the Ube Brownie as one of our flavors although it was a limited flavor at the time. First time here, and surprisingly, it was super good. I ordered the Thai tea and the Saigon coffee, and they weren't bad at all. They are open late, which is cool. We had just finished up at Circus Vargas (which was AMAZING btw) and the kiddos wanted ice cream, their fav spot was closed so we decided to give Afters a shot. It was late on a weeknight so it wasn't busy and we got to try a few flavors before deciding which was great as they have a lot of unique options and I have very selective kids. My son settled on the churro ice cream and vanilla, my daughter tried the triple C, my husband tried the salty oreo, and I got the cookie monster. All of them were delicious and unique in their own ways, the service was fast + kind, and my son left saying the churro ice cream was the best he's ever had. Since we were able to sample a few, here are some quick thoughts: 1. Cookie Monster - bright blue vanilla ice cream with oreo + choc chip cookies and chocolate fudge. This one is creamy and ultra-sweet. If you like cookies, give it a shot. 2. Cookie Butter - this tastes exactly like a speculoos cookie. If you love these kind of cookies, you'll love this. Ultra-sweet + yummy. 3. Triple C - choc chips, fudge, and caramel in vanilla ice cream. This was just okay. I'd probably skip. 4. Salty Oreo - I usually love a salty/sweet combo but this was not doing it for me. It was odd and even my husband who eats everything got sick of it after a couple of bites. 5. Churro - cinammon sugar base + cinammon toast crunch mixed in. My son is obsessed with this. If you're a churro or cinammon/sugar lover - try this. 6. Moch AF - mocha ice cream, almonds + fudge. SO SO GOOD. I wish I would've picked this instead of the cookie monster one. It's so delish, good mix of mocha + fudge. Not ultra sweet. The almonds can be huge but overall this is super yummy. read more

I remember when the OG location opened up in Irvine and there was a line out the door. They would make the 'donuts' fresh and then scoop your ice cream directly into the hot piping bun but the ice cream was so cold that it wouldn't immediately melt. They really cultivated mouth watering perfection. I'm super stoked that they have been able to expand because their product is truly unique and delicious. Congrats on the success! You really can't go wrong here. They have lots of fun flavors, and they have kept most of their original flavors. My favorite is the cereal milk or the jasmine ice cream in a warm glazed bun. Only two customers inside. Well the customers treated me better than the employees. There was a male who waited on me that was NOT friendly whatsoever. Didn't greet me or anything. I have been here plenty of times but every time I come I forget to leave a review. This place has a nice selection of ice cream as well as toppings. They also offer milkshakes and ice cream bars! The price is a little high for one scoop of ice cream which I believe runs over $6. Not bad but not great either. The customer service at this location is always good and I never have a problem. It's a small little building with no indoor seatings. It's a grab and go type of place. There is a few benches when you walk outside though. I came in and got a scoop of Jasmine milk tea ice cream with mochi toppings. I have always ordered this and it is so delicious. I cannot speak for the other flavors but they do let you sample them in case you don't know what you want. I will be returning of course as this place is good! Great little spot to take your kids for a nice treat. As per the other not so positive reviews I came into this place with no mask on and the workers were not wearing masks either.
