Don't usually come here a lot but there was a fundraiser going on for my nephews volleyball team so I decided to go in and grab soemthing small. Not a fan of all the different kinds of choices they have on the left side of the wall when you walk in because there's just too much going on with all of them. Like an explosion of taste in your mouth but I prefer something more simple. I got the small coffee ice cream with a twix in it. So so so goooood. Other times I get the vanilla ice cream with pineapples when I'm really really craving ice cream on a hot summer day here in socal. Plenty of parking, next to a lot of food places. One of the best cold stones I have been to. The thing with this cold stone is that it is at a very convenient location, right next to Wing Stop, L&L, and Diana's. And it doesn't stop there. With great customer service by, if I remembered correctly, Nigel and Dana, I ordered a lot more than I planned and I didn't mind at all. Seemed to be a little under staffed. Waited 13 minutes before I could even place my order. Anyhow, we ordered 3 different creations. When we were checking out I remembered I had a punch card from another location and I was only 2 away from a free ice cream. They rejected my punch card and told me they ran out of their own punch cards. So they punched 3 stars on receipt paper and handed to me. So I guess people can't move if your a loyal customer. God forbid you move and your almost at your free ice cream, you would have to go all the way back to the location you got the punch card from. Worst part is the manager Francisco said he would have accepted a punch card if it were from stores in that area. I used to love Coldstone's. But with so many other options for (cheaper and better) ice cream, it's become a place I avoid now. First, it is so overpriced. Being so expensive, you expect the ice cream flavors to be amazing and delicious, but that's not the case. The basic ice cream itself tastes as if you got the grocery store off brand. The toppings are okay, but again, they charge an arm and a leg for them. My biggest gripe is that the ice cream seems to melt at an alarmingly fast rate. I walk out the store and into my car and it already looks like a puddle. Really. So I'm paying almost $5 for this ice cream and it can't even handle a walk to my car? I've gotten ice cream all the way from South Torrance and driven to Carson and it's still solid. Two stars are for the customer service. With the whole pandemic it's been very busy at cold stone. I usually order online and it takes the workers almost 30 min for one ice cream. I went in on Monday and was helped with your lovely worker Caroline. She was able to get my 7 ice creams done with in less than 10 minutes!! Everytime I come it's just her in the front by herself . She is so sweet and polite to me and my family and all customers. I've also done an online cake order with her one time and she was so helpful !! She's definitely a keeper for this job! She never greeted us and had us waiting while she kicked around a trash can. She asked what I wanted and never made eye contact . I was never greeted with such great service from a cold stone establishment before. My friends and I weren't too sure on what to order but the employee working, I believe his name was Nigel? But he took his time to explain everything to us and recommended what he liked so he just made a few of his specialties for us, and I must say he definitely mastered the craft of making ice cream. Then we go in and we ask the girl in there if they still do the daily specials. She says no we dont do that anymore and i ask her if it was just thier branch or all of them she said all of them for like a year know. Well we went to another one a month prior and they still did it. Lastly thier prices are like a $1 - $2 more than other cold stones. The servers were really slow, and our fundraiser ended at 6:30 but there was a LONG line of patrons from OUR SCHOOL, that went to go sponsor our school, but since it was 6:30 the workers refused to accept to include those orders towards profits for our school. While this review is just based on their work in fundraising, I just don't think its cool...way to cheat kids out of money. read more

Came to this location for the first time...was craving a late night sweet...staff was unwelcoming...I asked for a sample for me and my boyfriend, the girl only gave us one little spoon to both sample from and when's boyfriend asked for another sample, she gave an irritated look...so we finally decided what we wanted and she hurried us to choose our toppings and said that ice cream melted fast, no shit Sherlock...I was really irritated by this girl, no need to point out the obvious. This location is terrible more than half the times I've attempted to go here, they are always out of something. They make up their own rules as far how you can redeem general coupons and offers sent to you. The proportions are usually much smaller and melted compared to other locations. They are usually understaffed or the staff rather hang out in the back and chat instead help customers. Obviously the manager here is terrible and cheap.
