Do not give a chance. This was my FIRST visit to a Cold Stone ever. After this visit it will be my LAST. The three ladies working Friday night 4-24-2025, all need to be reprimanded and or fired. The unpleasant experience started with no greeting. Then a lady says "what can I get you?" I look up and say "HELLO" to prove a point. She fixes my icecream then realized they did not restock Oreos, walks to the back and comes back to the front with my two Oreos in her hand. I ask her to get Oreos from out of the pack or however they restock them. Please do not walk around with food from the BACK of the store behind closed doors out and open. She presumed to ACT as if she didn't know why I wanted new Oreos and continued to make my icecream so she could hurry and finish. As she finally gets me new Oreos from a sealed container, she does not have on gloves as she did before. I ask to put on a glove for the exposed hand. Her reply? " I'm not touching your food so it's fine" !!!???!! I reply, "No I'm asking you to put on gloves, now this is a hygiene issue here" she gets upset then asks her colleague to finish the icecream. NOTHING that I asked was unreasonable, ESPECIALLY dealing with food. I asked for her name, her response? "I can't give you that" I said "Yes you can, I asked for a first name, not your full name". When she was being stubborn I asked for the manager information which was posted no where in the store ironically. Their answer.. guess? "I can't give you that either" That's when I decided to leave, clearly I would get nowhere with the incompetent employees they had staffed tonight. If a customer asks you to put on gloves, YOU DO SO. No questions asked, not refuse. You should already be wearing gloves handling food. If a customer asks for your name or manager name to follow up, you provide that, not dig a hole because you know you are going to get in trouble. Now these three ladies have made this problem way bigger than it had to be by not cooperating. All need to be reprimanded, re trained on hygiene, and exemplary customer service. $10 for a single scoop of icecream to be treated that poorly? No wonder there is a Hiring sign on the door. I HIGHLY doubt anything will be done as this location may be under staffed. Stay very far away. Last time going to visit ANY COLDSTONE. read more

Very so very disappointed on cold stones in Carson My daughter ordered a custom cake Friday to be picked up Saturday at 11am. They told me it would not be a problem they will make it Friday to be ready on Saturday. My father went in to pickup after 12ish how ever the manager told him they LOST MY CAKE!! That he would make another one fresh and be ready after 4pm. He went picked it up was not what we ordered the cake was so melted. We were so very disappointed. They still made us pay for the cake even tho it was not what we ordered. read more

Ice cream is good but the service is not. People trust employees that they will get every order correct whether it's online or in person. Second time I have gotten home and it's wrong. $40 is a lot to spend on ice cream when it's wrong. read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Not only were we told by the lazy staff that "the bananas were rotten and unsanitary" (what does that even mean?) But when I ordered a shake the employee whined out loud to his coworker that he "has to take time out of his day to make a shake because all of the blenders are dirty!" Then after he half-assed cleaning one he then proceeded to say out loud again,"I should have lied and said we were out of milk" I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service. Oh such excitement filled me eyes, cause I was in for a delicious surprise! I walked through the door and looked around, surrounded by ice cream buckets by the mound! I put in my order for a strawberry blonde, not a brunette, redhead, or a... Magic wand(?)! Lol The employee was so nice and sweet, she told to add whip cream for a real treat! Add the whip cream!! I've given them multiple chances and they keep screwing up. One time they closed an hour early despite on the door saying they close later. I went in person and they gave me the wrong order multiple times. The kid behind the counter was even reading the recipe and somehow messed up the order. Do not order signature creations as they will most likely mess it up. If you want to get a basic scoop I assume they can't screw that up but my faith in them is at an all time low. read more

The lady who was serving us was rude and it appeared like she didn't understand what I was asking so I had to repeat myself multiple times. I've been here throughout the years and stopped by today with gift cards for a treat. This store takes no pride in cleanliness. The counters are dusty and dirty like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks. The floors are so dirty they're black. The ice cream counter was filthy and cluttered and had a ton of stuff on it. Where do they even mix the ice cream? Tonight 10/02/2021 my boyfriend and I went on a date to finish up that date we decided to get some ice cream and we went to cold stone around 9:50 PM. It was crazy packed and completely nonstop but there was only 3 girls working and they did an amazing job they were working their butts off! They were very friendly the whole time even under the frustrating/stressful working conditions! The reason I am giving the 5 stars is because those girls deserve Recognition on their hard work tonight! Management DO BETTER! Please stop setting your employees up for failure and stressful working environments! We're regulars here on a weekly bases and today we were disappointed in the service. When we arrived, the line wrapped around the inside of the store and only two girls were working. While in line another young man ran through the door and into the back and started serving customers which made the line move somewhat faster. We waited about 20-25 minutes and when we got to the front we were greeted by Emily, who was clearly not having a good evening. Our orders were not particularly complicated, all were "like it" sized with one topping. I went first and gave her my order, I could have sworn she rolled her eyes at me! What?! When she handed me my ice cream the sides and bottom were full of ice cream leaving my hands sticky, granted I don't know if it's customary to wipe them clean but it would have been nice if she knew she got ice cream all over the cup. When I walked back to my group, who was still ordering my boyfriend had to get into her eyesight because she was dazed looking annoyed. When he received his, she slammed the cup on the counter. We were also not offered a bag or spoons at check out. After the transaction was done I asked for her name and her whole composure changed. As a frequent customer who has been spending money here for quite some time now, it is disappointing to interact with a employee who doesn't understand the definition of customer service. Emily's attitude only changed to positive when asked for her name. Their "Promise" posted at the checkout counter is clearly not taught to employees. I've continued to come to this Cold Stones even though I have always had the best customer experience in the past. I have to say the staff members are much better than they were in the past. The staff there now is friendly and the manager seems to keep the place pretty well staffed so there isn't just two people on the busy nights. This place is actually always busy, even on cold days. Customer service- Had a great experience all the workers are quite friendly and fast during my visit. It was my first time so they explain everything to me and any questions as well! Thanks again! I've been to quite a few cold stones and this is one of the better locations . They are open the hours that they advertise ( I've found some locations close early like the Lomita location for instance ...Carson came to the rescue THANK YOU! ). The staff is always friendly during all my visits , you all are awesome! They NEVER skimp on their serving sizes here (like the Long Beach location ugh). And it seems like they are always cleaning when I arrive which means they're maintaining a clean establishment and that is great!
