The cantaloupe was my favorite, having that juicy, sweet taste associated with the fruit. I'm typically not a huge fan of cantaloupe, but this one was so good, even having little chunks of the fruit inside!! I also liked the ube scoop: the flavor was more-subtle, but I think it's because they use real ube to make it, instead of artificially-flavored. Made for a lightly-sweet, slightly-savory and earthy experience which I enjoyed. Ben Scoops really surprised me in taste and quality. Solid ice cream with interesting flavors to try. Another thing lacking was service. She was nice. But didn't seem excited to be there. And it didn't make me excited to be there. What killed it for us was the location as a whole. It comes off as a nice outdoor space. But no one cares about you. Honestly, all three times I've been to this location for different venues, I've had very rude encounters. No other place have I been to that's been this consistent with people who just don't care. So I guess my take away is - the place is fine. It'll hit the spot for ice cream. But take it and leave. They have so many cool venues around like hiro nori, nook, spam masubi... it's a shame that people around are so much about themselves.

I completely understand that places run out of items and employees can have difficult days, but this didn't seem to be an availability issue when other customers were being served the exact same thing. It felt like we were simply being refused service for something that was clearly available. We came in expecting a quick, enjoyable ice cream stop, and unfortunately left feeling singled out and disappointed. I hope management looks into what happened and makes sure customers are treated consistently and respectfully.

First off, let me say I love Coldstone never had a problem until I went to this location in Carson. It seems like like the guy that was working there at night time was very disinterested in his job, I ordered the founders which I normally order because it has a lot of everything and it's really really good however, this guy did not make my ice cream up to par and when I asked him for more brownie because the piece that he gave me was so small I couldn't even see it. He said that'll be an extra charge. I said excuse me he said yeah that's an extra that's upgrade. I said man I've been to Five Coldstone and no one has ever charged me for additional brownie or any other additional toppings that come with the specialty order and he was like shrug his shoulders oh well and then after he made the ice cream, there was like a little left over and he said yeah, just throw this in the trash and I was like shaking my head, I will never return to this location ever and I will suggest people if you're going here at night time do not return especially if this individual is there I'll leave a picture of him. It seems like he was on something anyway he probably needs to be tested for substances. PS. I wish I had read the reviews prior to going here. The employees here at cold stones in carson were really rude and disrespectful. Especially the employee named katt with two piercings on her lips. I have no idea why or how she got hired. Word of advice for the employers who hired her she was very rude and disrespectful with her little smart ass attitude and remarks. I never will eat at this cold stones again. She needs to be fired asap! I love cold stones but due to this rude employee i do not recommend this place to anyone! If your going to work with people you need to know how to speak to people.
