    Cold Spring Grange -- storefront

Had Cold Spring for dinner and it was very good. Burger was full of flavor, though the bacon steak -styled slab was pale and flabby. I ended up taking it off and enjoyed the burger much more. Brisket sandwich was adequately spicy and flavor coming at you from every texture. Mac and baked beans were very good too. I forgot they allow dogs and did takeout this time for their sake, but I will definitely bring them next visit. Porch and dining room ambiance is early 20th C historic-chic, and staff was friendly.

Lobster roll. Have had his each time I stop for lunch. AWESOME

If you stop at Cold Spring Village YOU MUST eat HERE! And if you are driving in the area looking for some good resonantly priced food YOU MUST STOP HERE. Nice location to grab a great tasteful bite to eat while passing by or while in the area of the village. Menu is concise and has a variety of items to choose from. ALL the food tastes great and service is quick and attentive. Items are priced from 8-15 dollars for the lunch menu. They also offer dinner and a brunch on certain days.

Food was extremely delicious, weird hours tho we arrived with a party of 8 at 5pm on Saturday during the Civil war weekend, we were originally told they were closed so we started to leave and told us to come on in, I ordered the BAAT , and my wife ordered chicken and waffles both were very delicious.

We stopped here for lunch. We shared the pierogies. I had the Fried Chicken and my husband had the Children Pot Pie. We throughly enjoyed our meals,

I also ordered a bottle of their house wine, and it was excellent. It was served nicely chilled with just the right amount of sweetness, making it the perfect pairing for my meal. The flavors complemented the gnocchi beautifully and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. The sauce was fresh, light, and earthy, and I loved the addition of the pine nuts, which added a subtle crunch. I'm usually not a fan of mixing different textures in a dish, but everything came together so well that it completely changed my mind. The shrimp were cooked perfectly--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My daughter ordered the seafood pasta, and she loved it as well. The seafood was fresh, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together wonderfully. We both left our plates nearly empty because everything was just that good. We were seated outside, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The weather was beautiful, there was a nice breeze, and it made for such a relaxing dining experience. To top it all off, the woman who took our order was absolutely wonderful. She was funny, energetic, and incredibly kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Between the amazing food, delicious wine, beautiful outdoor seating, and exceptional service, this was easily one of my favorite dining experiences. I would happily return again and again.

It was OK but we were right by the door to the patio, which was frequently opened and closed. Our server, Laura was fantastic. She did a great job all night for us. Started with delicious clam chowder, fried oysters, and the Kale Caesar salad. We really didn't enjoy the kale salad, but the other two were great. The seafood risotto was great as usual, as was the pescatore special and the scallop risotto appetizer (had for an entrée). The scallops Sambuca special was OK but the sauce was too sweet for me. No dessert tonight.

The tomato broth was remarkable and delicious. MEDITERRANEAN SEABASS cherry tomato, caper & taggiasca olive relish, crispy creamer potatoes, salsa verde ~one of the best fish dishes for me in 2026 for sure! Every component on this dish was sensational and so balanced. We highly recommended The Washington Inn in Cape May. The wine list by the glass is very well done and not extremely expensive. The service was polished and executed at a high level and extremely personal & detailed to attention. We both agreed we felt we received good value on every component of the meal.
