Caffeinated and specialty drinks, horror decor and scary movie! Count me in! Parking: The cafe is located inside a plaza so there is plenty of public parking. Location: The shop is located inside the Walk way in between Scardino's Pizza and JM Botánica on the left side. Great spot for a quick grab or small group congregation! Also found out they have a second space right across from the shop! It wasn't opened at the time but looks like they would open it for larger events or maybe weekends. LOVED THE DECOR, and is definitely a coffee shop where you can chill, play board games or watch a movie. They have a cool horror selection of board games to match the theme! Staff was super friendly and we came in to try the 5 Nights of Freddy's Specialty drinks and the chocolate cake! ARR ARR ARR was a delicious cafe frappe flavor, the bite of 87' was a cool slushie, and Pirates Cove sweet coffee iced beverage. They have a variety of options for all drinkers, Espresso, specialty blends, lemonades and slashes, coffee and matcha!

First time coming here after seeing social posts of theme Ghost drinks. It was just right to come grab a Ghost drink after being in the pit for their Anaheim concert ritual. The interior was cute with horror decorations and characters. Ordered the Ratttsss drink which was blended. Quite nice and delicious. There were two workers in the back and the wait wasn't long.

I was so excited to try this place out on the weekend. Checked the hours to make sure we arrived early and avoid any crowds if there were any. My sister and I showed up at 10:30 and the location was closed. So disappointed since I was really looking forward to visiting this location. Should've paid attention to the reviews stating the hours are all over the place.

Really liked the drinks here lol. It is more for if you have a sweet tooth than if you want coffee but i always love the horror aesthetic and my fave coffee place stopped offering ube matcha and this place had it omg. Bangin i loved it and now i can satisfy that craving again. Really cute and the service was cool too as they asked for any allergen, which i dont drink cow milk so thank you lol

I live close by so if I'm in the area I'll try and stop by the hours are weird sometimes it's open sometimes it's closed on a random day The theme and concept is cool a horror themed coffee shop decor is great We got a couple of there newer drinks for the Halloween season Both good Service was good, one person working They were playing terrifier while we waited

I feel like 3 stars keeps in neutral. We really were excited to try this place out. The aesthetic, decor is amazing; stepping into an 80's horror dream. VHS cassettes mounted on counters & walls. However... the drinks mid at best at least the coffees. I ordered a momma's boy I think that's the name. Never tasted any coffee, it tasted like watered down chocolate milk... I know I know flashbacks to LAUSD lunch. Idk I probably wouldn't try this spot again.

Super detailed as soon as you walk in!

Super cute shop! This place is a little hidden, within the alleyway near the Bank of America ATM's. I came in on a Tuesday around 2-3pm, and was greeted immediately. The staff is warm and attentive. The decor here is amazing, and there's indoor and outdoor seating. I liked the details on the VHS tapes on the walls, and they have horror/slasher movies playing. Now, I came for the Frankenstein collab drinks, and they didn't disappoint! The "Victoorrrr" was a pistachio matcha, beautifully green and rich! The "Spirit of the Forest" was a rosemary and thyme mocha, which I really enjoyed! Only downside is that I didn't see a public restroom, but this location is great to hang out and take pictures. Would definitely come again.

I was lured over by their limited time My Chemical Romance themed drinks. This spot is tucked into a huge lot surrounded by businesses. So plenty of parking. Decor is cute and I loved the VHS touches. Huge horror fan so automatically was sold on this place. We went up and ordered our drinks. Unfortunately like the other reviews, they looked nothing like the pictures. No MCR stickers on them. It was a red velvet latte and sad to report it was not good. Expected at least to resemble somewhat of a coffee taste and no it did not. Pure sugar. They were out of the MCR treats. Service was a little slow but polite. There were couches and games available for people who wanted to sit and play. Love the vibe but would not return.

This place is always randomly closed. I love supporting small coffee shops but it's frustrating when three times now I've tried stopping by and they are closed with no note on the door or explanation on social media.

We've been really excited to try this place out. We came yesterday 2 hours after it opened and it was closed with a sign that said sold out. There was other people who tried arriving as well. One person said the coffee wasn't even worth it. But We still tried again today. Woke up early to arrive at opening which is supposed to open at 10am, but it's still closed. One of the workers from the other shops told me she always opens late and to try at 12pm. Hours definitely need to be updated for people driving out just to check this place out. So disappointed.

    Maryam Q.

Delish coffee and pretty on theme decor. I got the pumpkin spice and that was pretty good and strong. The guy in the front was kind and took my order and helped me decide on what to get. Not enough seating and kind of hard to find in the plaza.

Came on Saturday 11/29 around 1:30pm but it was closed?? the hours for this place on the IG page is advertised as being open Tuesday- Saturday from 12-8pm & Sundays 10am- 8pm... and closed on Monday. If you're not planning on being open despite the schedule you made for your business, the least you can do is let your consumers be aware via IG story etc. that you won't be open. It sucks that my family and I drove from Lake Forest just to try this place, only to be disappointed with a "sold out" sign. Make sure you know they'll be OPEN before making your commute!! I'm sorry I was just bothered bc where is the professionalism?? Let your people know please!! also why are we deleting instagram comments when asking a question?

    Yesenia E.

I love the coffee here. The shop is a bit hidden and one must go through the shopping center to find it. The staff is super friendly and give great recommendations. They have a variety of milk types in the case that you're lactose intolerant. The music was great and the decor was amazing!!!

We went for an early-ish lunch, so the options were much more limited compared to dinner. One of our friends has gone for dinner before, and that was much livelier with a much MUCH better menu option. I did take this into consideration as otherwise lunch review for a Sunday would be closer to 3 stars. From outside the cafe to inside, everything was really cute. They have a mascot, which is shown outside and in as well. Enter, and there's a wall of merch you can see and buy. There was another door in that room that takes you to the main dining area, but before it opens, they tell you a lil chant with movements to do. Pretty cool! We were then seated and given our menus. There are combinations which included a photo with a maid. We ended up getting 2 food combos (meal, drink, photo), a dessert combo (dessert, drink, photo), and a drink combo (drink, photo) to all share. The menu had a lot of options, but the food wasn't actually available (darn, was looking forward to some maid drawn omu-rice!), as it was lunch and that was a separate menu. Some items from that were unavailable, so we were super limited with what we could order re food. We ended up trying the following - Miso Salmon - lol, not great. The sides / veggies were better IMO, but they were really small portions. Chicken Teriyaki - the other 3 thought it was pretty good, and I thought it was just mid. Lack of flavor, but chicken texture was decent. Matcha Parfait Dessert Thingy - forgot the actual name of it, but it was pretty! Our maid drew on this which made it special. Taste-wise was fine. Various Drinks - I got a cold brew with tiramisu foam, and that was quite enjoyable. She drew a dog on the foam. Cute! A friend got the coffee with sea salt foam and she requested a fish be drawn. The best LOL. Another got their magic lemonade which was pretty cool! The mixing and such was fun to watch. My daughter got the oreo oat milk drink and she requested a cat to be drawn. Our maid was really nice and explained things extremely well. For the photos, she helped us with standard poses and we all left with a lil polaroid with our experience. Many of the clientele when we were there were solo male, which was what we saw in Tokyo as well. Some groups too. There were a lot of similarities with this maid cafe and the ones we visited in Tokyo, and some differences do include quality of the frequent visitor card (actual plastic card in Tokyo versus paper card here) and the photo came in a frame booklet thingy in Tokyo compared to just the photo here. Would come back for dinner to check that out though!

Our cashier was also quite confused and condescending. I did not like his vibe, it's not cute being a passive aggressive person. I seriously hope this location works out the kinks. I was hoping to have my own AE86 built and ready when I finally stopped by, but maybe for the new location. As an honest critique of the actual storefront, the appearance and decor is very charming. In a very bright, Japanese themed cafe kind of way. But because this is an Initial D themed drink and snack spot, I can see this being a place where mostly guys use this place as a meet-up hub. Especially for a small car meet. Very niche right? Especially for the dying breed of 1980's 1990's - 2000's JDM cars. That said, how many guys in the city could you actually get to come here regularly for soy and soy-based accessories, drinks, and snacks? The dessert was okay, and I wasn't in love with the drinks. Light, tofu refreshing, but not captivating. Personally, the menu doesn't appeal to me, since I try to avoid soy since it tends to be a pro-estrogen consumable. I don't think they had to box themselves in into being a purely tofu-only cafe. They could sell tofu products, and also have something simple but repeatedly addictive; like In-n-Out, Wurstkuche, Howling Ray's, Tea Master Matcha Cafe, Savoy, Langer's, etc. The closest idea I can think of that would be forced into tofu would be like really excellent, authentic mabo tofu, agedashi tofu, or like a karaage or Tokyo fried chicken style fried chicken with a mabo tofu dipping sauce, heavy on the ma-la flavors. Hell, I might even stop by more if they imported more car parts, from like Impulse, TRD, or Apex'i. But the way the AE86 market is, it makes more sense to sell online to the global niche. Wonderful atmosphere and mood for the Initial D/MF Ghost/Subaru to Subaru fandom. It was fun just to follow on instagram and catch a glimpse of all the influencer personalities in the car community stopping by. I'll look forward to what their next Project T(ofu) looks like. See you next time, Space (cow) boy. Oh-oh-oh. I need you babe.
