5/2/26 One of my most favorite horror movie of all times, The Exorcist, read the book at age 11 So this shop caught my attention. Cute hole in the wall tucked in the back at this plaza. You might miss it coz it's really tucked in. Clever decor using VHS tapes. If you are not familiar with those--ask your parents (or Google it lol. Catchy themed drinks, mostly on the BERY sweet side. Friendly & accommodating staff. Got the Ube matcha ("Wanna date")- very sweet, pretty good but I had to reduce it by adding more ice when I took the rest home. The cold brew was good, also sweet. They have a 55 inch tv playing a horror movie when i visited. I can imagine stopping by & sitting there to watch while I drink my beverage, but who has the time to do this? Cute shop. Parking is plentiful & free at this strip mall

Caffeinated and specialty drinks, horror decor and scary movie! Count me in! Parking: The cafe is located inside a plaza so there is plenty of public parking. Location: The shop is located inside the Walk way in between Scardino's Pizza and JM Botánica on the left side. Great spot for a quick grab or small group congregation! Also found out they have a second space right across from the shop! It wasn't opened at the time but looks like they would open it for larger events or maybe weekends. LOVED THE DECOR, and is definitely a coffee shop where you can chill, play board games or watch a movie. They have a cool horror selection of board games to match the theme! Staff was super friendly and we came in to try the 5 Nights of Freddy's Specialty drinks and the chocolate cake! ARR ARR ARR was a delicious cafe frappe flavor, the bite of 87' was a cool slushie, and Pirates Cove sweet coffee iced beverage. They have a variety of options for all drinkers, Espresso, specialty blends, lemonades and slashes, coffee and matcha!

First time coming here after seeing social posts of theme Ghost drinks. It was just right to come grab a Ghost drink after being in the pit for their Anaheim concert ritual. The interior was cute with horror decorations and characters. Ordered the Ratttsss drink which was blended. Quite nice and delicious. There were two workers in the back and the wait wasn't long.

I was so excited to try this place out on the weekend. Checked the hours to make sure we arrived early and avoid any crowds if there were any. My sister and I showed up at 10:30 and the location was closed. So disappointed since I was really looking forward to visiting this location. Should've paid attention to the reviews stating the hours are all over the place.

I live close by so if I'm in the area I'll try and stop by the hours are weird sometimes it's open sometimes it's closed on a random day The theme and concept is cool a horror themed coffee shop decor is great We got a couple of there newer drinks for the Halloween season Both good Service was good, one person working They were playing terrifier while we waited

Really liked the drinks here lol. It is more for if you have a sweet tooth than if you want coffee but i always love the horror aesthetic and my fave coffee place stopped offering ube matcha and this place had it omg. Bangin i loved it and now i can satisfy that craving again. Really cute and the service was cool too as they asked for any allergen, which i dont drink cow milk so thank you lol

I feel like 3 stars keeps in neutral. We really were excited to try this place out. The aesthetic, decor is amazing; stepping into an 80's horror dream. VHS cassettes mounted on counters & walls. However... the drinks mid at best at least the coffees. I ordered a momma's boy I think that's the name. Never tasted any coffee, it tasted like watered down chocolate milk... I know I know flashbacks to LAUSD lunch. Idk I probably wouldn't try this spot again.

Super detailed as soon as you walk in!

Super cute shop! This place is a little hidden, within the alleyway near the Bank of America ATM's. I came in on a Tuesday around 2-3pm, and was greeted immediately. The staff is warm and attentive. The decor here is amazing, and there's indoor and outdoor seating. I liked the details on the VHS tapes on the walls, and they have horror/slasher movies playing. Now, I came for the Frankenstein collab drinks, and they didn't disappoint! The "Victoorrrr" was a pistachio matcha, beautifully green and rich! The "Spirit of the Forest" was a rosemary and thyme mocha, which I really enjoyed! Only downside is that I didn't see a public restroom, but this location is great to hang out and take pictures. Would definitely come again.

I was lured over by their limited time My Chemical Romance themed drinks. This spot is tucked into a huge lot surrounded by businesses. So plenty of parking. Decor is cute and I loved the VHS touches. Huge horror fan so automatically was sold on this place. We went up and ordered our drinks. Unfortunately like the other reviews, they looked nothing like the pictures. No MCR stickers on them. It was a red velvet latte and sad to report it was not good. Expected at least to resemble somewhat of a coffee taste and no it did not. Pure sugar. They were out of the MCR treats. Service was a little slow but polite. There were couches and games available for people who wanted to sit and play. Love the vibe but would not return.

This place is always randomly closed. I love supporting small coffee shops but it's frustrating when three times now I've tried stopping by and they are closed with no note on the door or explanation on social media.

    Karina R.

We've been really excited to try this place out. We came yesterday 2 hours after it opened and it was closed with a sign that said sold out. There was other people who tried arriving as well. One person said the coffee wasn't even worth it. But We still tried again today. Woke up early to arrive at opening which is supposed to open at 10am, but it's still closed. One of the workers from the other shops told me she always opens late and to try at 12pm. Hours definitely need to be updated for people driving out just to check this place out. So disappointed.

    Maryam Q.

Delish coffee and pretty on theme decor. I got the pumpkin spice and that was pretty good and strong. The guy in the front was kind and took my order and helped me decide on what to get. Not enough seating and kind of hard to find in the plaza.

Shout out to Xeandric, Tony, and Tati for being so energetic and for making my grandma's birthday so much fun! G-Ma had an unforgettable time! Service is quick. There's a good amount of indoor seating and a few outdoor tables, but it can get packed quickly. The interior is so thoughtfully designed (didn't get everything in my video), all the way to the restrooms. Street parking or nearby garage parking is available. Mild-moderate noise level. The prices for food/drinks are fair to slightly higher, but nothing excessively so for a themed cafe - especially for one based off of such a popular anime. Everything we ordered was actually really flavorful and filling. Definitely try the onigiri! The drinks are as sweet as they sound, so keep that in mind if you prefer milder flavors. They have a lot of options, but there's an online menu so guests can plan ahead. Plenty of merch to choose from, including t-shirts, keychains, bottles, lamps, plush toys, etc. Prices are pretty fair, and the quality is sound. We never liked the "entrance fee" that I obviously know about and I stand by what I said: ADULTS ARE FORCED TO ORDER THEIR SUBPAR OVERPRICED FOOD FOR ENTRY aside from the entrance fee for their kids. The SGV eats post - I wasn't talking about one post. Geraldyne has posted several times and most of those times people have chimed in with their experiences and she removed her entire posts so people won't find the comments. Once again, trust the low star ratings. If you read them, you'll see a lot of them echo what I've posted here. --- If you have a toddler or a young kid, avoid this place. Read the lower rated reviews, because those paint a more accurate picture than glowing reviews from people who got discounts to this place. Adults are forced to order a meal as an entrance fee, and all the choices are subpar and overpriced. There was only one lovely staff member, an African American woman that unfortunately seemed to have left, because everyone else were not friendly nor helpful, and are barely present. The husband who supposedly cooks the meal made the driest, toughest, inedible steak salad and I couldn't even get help with my meal because there was no staff around to help, and whenever the husband came out, he would just be zipping in and out so fast I couldn't even catch him, and I couldn't leave my daughter by herself. The food choices for kids are also subpar. The play area itself is also subpar. There's very little options to play with, and whatever is there are mostly broken toys or have missing parts. The "separate" area for younger kids are always a huge mess to the point where it's safer for a 1-2 yr old to be in the general area with how disorganized it is. It's nothing but an afterthought, and bigger kids go there to mess up that area all the time No one really goes to clean up or check the play areas periodically, so even though it's part of their "rules", you see kids throwing toys at other kids, kids leaving messes around, etc. The positive reviews about these place are probably from people who've only been there once and have had some sort of discount. As a previous repeat customer who tried to give this place multiple chances, it is nothing but a cash-grab by greedy owners who care nothing about kids. The owner, Geraldine, also loves to promote her business on Facebook groups, and even whine about lack of "support" from people, but when previous customers try to make suggestions or anything remotely resembling a valid criticism, she'll remove the post so no one sees it. It's very dishonest, and shows what kind of people run this business. There are better places to go to entertain kids in SGV, don't waste your time and money here.

We were served by a wonderful Caucasian maid, and we also noticed a cute Korean maid taking care of some other tables--the whole staff was super friendly and really added to the charming, positive vibe of the cafe. One thing that really stood out to me was their retail section. They have a surprisingly solid selection of Japanese trading card games like Weiss Schwarz, Hololive, and Pokémon, alongside some manga. It's an awesome touch if you're a fan of the hobby or just want something interesting to browse while waiting for your order. As for the food, I had to try the classic maid cafe staple: the omurice. I ordered the curry omurice, complete with the signature cute ketchup art drawn right on the egg. It was hearty, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. We also tried a couple of their specialty iced espresso drinks, including the tiramisu latte. They were topped generously with whipped cream and tasty crumbles. The drinks are definitely on the richer, sweeter side, making them feel like a dessert in themselves. I was hoping to have my own AE86 built and ready when I finally stopped by, but maybe for the new location. As an honest critique of the actual storefront, the appearance and decor is very charming. In a very bright, Japanese themed cafe kind of way. But because this is an Initial D themed drink and snack spot, I can see this being a place where mostly guys use this place as a meet-up hub. Especially for a small car meet. Very niche right? Especially for the dying breed of 1980's 1990's - 2000's JDM cars. That said, how many guys in the city could you actually get to come here regularly for soy and soy-based accessories, drinks, and snacks? The dessert was okay, and I wasn't in love with the drinks. Light, tofu refreshing, but not captivating. Personally, the menu doesn't appeal to me, since I try to avoid soy since it tends to be a pro-estrogen consumable. I don't think they had to box themselves in into being a purely tofu-only cafe. They could sell tofu products, and also have something simple but repeatedly addictive; like In-n-Out, Wurstkuche, Howling Ray's, Tea Master Matcha Cafe, Savoy, Langer's, etc. The closest idea I can think of that would be forced into tofu would be like really excellent, authentic mabo tofu, agedashi tofu, or like a karaage or Tokyo fried chicken style fried chicken with a mabo tofu dipping sauce, heavy on the ma-la flavors. Hell, I might even stop by more if they imported more car parts, from like Impulse, TRD, or Apex'i. But the way the AE86 market is, it makes more sense to sell online to the global niche. Wonderful atmosphere and mood for the Initial D/MF Ghost/Subaru to Subaru fandom. It was fun just to follow on instagram and catch a glimpse of all the influencer personalities in the car community stopping by. I'll look forward to what their next Project T(ofu) looks like. See you next time, Space (cow) boy. Oh-oh-oh. I need you babe.
