We went here for breakfast over the weekend and it won't be our last trip. We met some family here and the place was packed. The tables are small four person tables and there were six of us and they wasted no time at getting comfortably seated. The dining area is small and it was very busy and crowded however, that didn't prevent us from having great service. We ordered and the food was delivered promptly and our waitress was very attentive which amazed me c how busy they were. I had a mixture of things that I put together kinda ala cart if you will. Two biscuits with sausage gravy, two eggs, sausage patties, and home fries. Let's just say that I wasn't expecting the amount of food that I received. The biscuits were huge and the gravy was perfect. The portions were more than what I expected. The place has a great vib and is decorated very neglectful with various things from Madi Gras to mermaid paintings and lots of signage. The parking is ample and easy to get in and out of. So if you're in the Mandeville area definitely stop by and give them a try.

Then she told me that they just had a class on food allergies This is really exceptional that a restaurant is taking up their own initiative to learn about food allergies so that they can service their customers with better care While the food is definitely excellent with the capacity to offer different options for the different dietary needs that people have and the staff is educated, I just wish that they had better coffee at the Mandeville location like a cappuccino or a café latte Still an excellent choice

Only two other people came in while we were there and the same lady told them to sit anywhere. The food was good, the young people who served us were excellent but the manager was rude, devoid of any concept of the importance of good customer service and unyielding in her effort to follow her rule. She refilled coffee before it had time to get cold. When the orders came out---she nailed it. Each person got their order quickly. The food is always delicious and hot. When we order something with a substitute it comes made to order. The server got us our checks quickly and error free. (If you have never received a check that was not yours you won't understand.) Our server was also waiting on another small group from our church. She was spot on with them also. I apologize for not giving names of the servers because to single out one would not do the staff an injustice. They are all great. Food is always delicious. Thank you to Management for having the servers who have a great attitude and make the customer feel important. You cannot teach that to someone. Your staff knows.
