used to eat at this place all the time when I lived on the Northshore 11 years ago. Bragged on it to my fiancee so we went today. Entering we asked if it was seat yourself after standing at the door for a good 3 to 4 minutes. The girl said yes. Then the rude started. We saw signs that said order at counter....so we took our menus to the only available table without paper do not sit signs to peruse it. My fiancee and I had no more than just sat down when a young blonde man yells all the way across the restaurant " you have to order before you sit down its the rules" ...I was SO embarrassed that I jumped right up. My fiancee stayed seated as he is not a dude to be bullied...and then it got worse. I walked to the counter opening where the rude boy had yelled from and lo and behold....he has moved to another place and is literally waiving his hands and saying down here down here. It was all just too much. COVID has become such an excuse for rude behavior. I did not like the " bus your own table" signs either. Why eat out??? Horrid experience read more

This place is always busy, especially during lunch time. My go to is the super 7 salad, which is usually on the special board. It's a salad with tons of different greens, sprouts, broccoli, chick peas, beats, and seeds, topped with a crusted goat cheese cake and *the best* balsamic dressing. Best place in the state for super delicious salads! The iced tea selection is also pretty great. The service is fast and you can snack on the yummy soft free French bread while you are waiting. They have a dessert display filled with every tasty indulgence you could imagine. Most of their desserts are made at the fabulous Zoe Bakery. To go orders are picked up at the counter fast. Breakfast was a total fail. First of all, the staff was not friendly. Bad start from the beginning, but we brushed it off. Then we get the menus, and there are no prices on the menus. That was inconvenient and annoying. But anyway, we moved right along and hoped our food would be good and not a reflection of their service. We get the food, and the huevos rancheros were not huevos rancheros at all. It was a tortilla with eggs and onions. The Belgian waffle was hard, cold, and flavorless. Very much a disappointment. We were the first customers of the day and, initially, we weren't greeted when we came in. However, the staff did turn out to be very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I had the quiche breakfast and my husband had the pepper jack omelet. He said it was the best omelet he has had in a long while. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. Not something you'd expect in a strip mall. My only complaint is that the hours of brunch posted on their website are incorrect. Website says brunch starts at 8:00 but, when we tried to order brunch items, we were told brunch isn't served until 9:00. We were a little disappointed by that but the breakfast items were delicious anyway. read more

Generally very good but don't walk in near closing. Ordered the redfish sandwich, asked if I wanted Ham or bacon on it,i replied I didn't know they put meat on Fish, she replied oh yes. I was served a breakfast sandwich no fish, totally distracted and worried about closing, not about getting orders correct. Otherwise I have had great experiences and great food here. read more

We arrived at 11:30 just before the lunch rush and ordered a special-"kale and smoked salmon salad" and my favorite- the spinach and walnut caribe salad and two herbal teas. Well, the kale salad had no kale and the spinach salad had no spinach. Both came with mixed greens. We didn't even notice until half way through our meal and the lines were still long.
