I get coffee here all the time. The flavor of the coffee is so much better than any other coffee place in the area. I like the sugar free options available too! Plus I actually feel like the owner appreciates my business and the food doesn't take plastic like other coffee joints in the surrounding area. read more

The place is awesome! I live in the Los Angeles area but I visit the Reno area fairly frequently, so now that I've found this place, I'll be hitting it up EVERY time I'm passing through Minden. I don't normally go for the sweet blended drinks but my boyfriend got a Peanut Butter Blast with a shot of espresso when we were heading to Reno and...ohhhh....myyyyy....goodnessss. It was so freaking good! We were fighting over it, lol. So then when we drove by on our way back home, we went through again and we both got the Peanut Butter Blast so we could live in harmony for at least part of the 8 hour drive home. My husband and we look forward to our coffee stop here during our road trips we pass through Minden. You can drive thru or stretch your legs, sit underneath the little patio umbrella & chairs as well. Their coffee is fresh and delish, the chai lattes very yummy, and my daughter loves the vanilla chiller, sans caffeine . This place is family owned and operated which we love, the girls working this morning were so kind and pleasant. We've been stopping here for at least the past 5+ years. A fav for sure read more

The last couple of times I've been here the coffee hasn't been that great and I've not been able to finish it throwing it away. Well, today (June 27, 2009) we had a not-so-great experience here. The girl that took our order was pleasant, friendly and quick, but as we started to drink our Peanut Butter / Chocolate Chiller (as we drove around to run errands) we realized that it wasn't as good as usual. It was really dilute or "watery", and the ice chunks were so big that it kept clogging the straw. I think that she was new and so she didn't get the proportions correct and didn't blend the drink properly. I'm not going to change my overall review since we've had so many great experiences here, but I hope that the owner takes notice of this, and we'll be sure to check our drinks before driving off in the future. read more

I want to like this place. The drinks are good. They have milk alternatives; Soy, rice, and almond, which is fantastic! I have never been impressed by the "friendly" staff. They always seem irritated that I am ordering something and the only time I have ever got a smile from one of the ladies is when I had my little dog with me. If I wanted bad vibes with my coffee I would just buy it at Denny's or McDonalds. read more

Driving through Minden today, we had our eyes out for a Starbucks and came across Coffee on Main instead. Their menu had everything we could want and I was pleasantly surprised that they also had almond milk as an option. We had a White Mocha Chiller, a Caramel Chiller and a hot regular coffee. We also had a bagel and two blueberry scones. These were the biggest scones I've ever seen. They were also very moist and full of flavor. To top it all off, the two young gals working here were very nice and provided us with awesome service. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to place for my coffee drinks. If you're just driving through, it's worth the stop. read more

A pretty good coffee spot. I have only tried their chilled drinks which are quite good. While they are not super cheap, they have better ingredients than their counterparts at Starbucks, as well the punchcards are handy as you can eventually get a free one (after 10 drinks). The hours are fairly limited, especially on the weekends. Very nice staff. read more

It took me over a year (moved to the area Dec. '09) to try Nevada Joe Coffee On Main, I've been a fan of Starbucks for years.
