I grabbed an onion bialy with cream cheese, and I am still thinking about it hours later. The flavor was unreal. It tasted like the best part of French onion soup, just without the soup. Rich, savory, and perfect with the cream cheese. Blissful is the only word that fits. My youngest went with an everything bagel, plain, and she lit up after the first bite. Soft, squishy, exactly how she likes it. She looked at me and said, "Dad, how come you haven't brought me here before?" I told her that sometimes, for great things, you have to wait in life. We also grabbed the nectar of the gods (Diet Coke) and an apple juice. Everything was packaged neatly, easy to grab and go, and the whole experience felt effortless and the people there are wicked nice! Hank's is officially in our rotation now.

Today it was cream cheese. Last time it was avocado (a pricey loss). The people putting together the bagels need to be more conscientious about what they're doing and double-checking their accuracy. Also, the manager should be checking the order before it goes out. This is happening far too frequently for a To-Go food shop.

Walked in yesterday around 3:30 pm almost closing time and they didn't have any chocolate croissants but, had many other donuts, bagels, sandwiches, croissants, all types of hot and cold beverages including, latte, espresso, coffee, tea, water and you get the point. The lady behind the counter gave me the 2 fresh, yummy donuts and I walked out. Inhaled both donuts at the same time. Will definitely return soon. About the croissants, I hope they will have it next time I go back. Hopefully soon. They also have vegan/gluten free options. Place was very clean, with clean tables and chairs, gender neutral restroom..also clean; and, unfortunately no patio seating. Parking shared with 5 other businesses.

Didn't have to wait to long for the food to come out. There were maybe 6 people before me. I ate both bagels right on the street. They have few outside seating, don't accept cash, have bottles/cans of cold drinks, have only street and metered parking, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This interesting truck dining experience has been around since 2014 and is owned by Jewish people. The truck goes to different locations. Also, got their small 100% Orange Juice & their yummy, creamy spread.. Honey Almond. For all this the price came out to be $31.73 including tax and tip not included. EXPENSIVE!! You can get a dozen eggs from your local grocery store for just the add-on eggs on my bagels. My food was nicely toasted and everything was right with my order. It tasted DELICIOUS, FRESH, and the portions could have been just a little bigger. I will still go back to this place & instead of getting 2 add-on eggs on each bagel, I will only get one. They also do catering, pickup/to-go orders, and third party apps as well. There are many bottled beverage options as well, such as juice, water, etc... I had high hopes for this cafe, in my divorce from Starbucks. But they failed immensely today, outside of whoever's playlist it is they're playing that consists of allot of songs by my kindred spirit Michael Jackson. The barista who took my order is rude, petty, unprofessional, unwelcoming. I ordered my usual I used to order at Starbucks; tall light roast hot coffee, with room, a small side cup of steamed oat milk, an everything bagel warm, four butter packets. A small 'tote' bag to put everything in. A vente cup of ice water. [Sometimes I buy a slice of banana nut bread.] Instead, they gave me no butter's, no bag, no side cup of steamed oat milk, no room in the coffee. They put oat milk IN my coffee! I was back at the counter dealing with that when the rude cashier started badgering me about the germ filled order buzzer device that obviously was still sitting on the counter with my other items including my shoulder bag with my laptop computer. "Here's your bagel." as she interrupts me and her fellow barista.She hands it to me and demands the buzzer despite seeing that I'm dealing with her putting my order in wrong and thus sees that I'm communicating with her co-worker to correct the coffee. I tell her that I'm going to grab it in a moment. She rudely says, "The buzzer though." as she's presenting as though she doesn't want to hand me my bagel that's no longer warm, btw, unless I suddenly stop ensuring the correction of my coffee to go grab the buzzer. Like, really? And she makes a ride belittling comment, "Oh......I thought you wanted oat milk IN the coffee." When she knows that I clearly and slowly (as I always do at any cafe) said "With room and a small side cup of steamed oat milk." She even repeated it back to me at the register while she was typing the order in, and told me that they are like Starbucks and supply it complimentary as I inquired with her about when she instead CHANGED the subject by talking about orders of full latte's/cups of oat milk. It was not until I came back to counter again, this time to get the small bag that they also forgot, that she admitted her mistake, as I told her that I specifically ordered room with a small cup side of steamed oat milk. Then when I opened the cold bagel; it's hard and has no butters in the packet. So I go back to counter yet again. The tall slim female barista who corrected the coffee order, said that they don't have packets and they put butter on people's bagels themselves. If that's the case, the cashier barista should have informed me, after I ordered the bagel "warmed with four butter packets". She went to a back room and brought me a little clear plastic cup of butter SPREAD. The went back there AGAIN to get a small bag when that's something they have at counter as I'm seeing them give to other customers WITH their orders like I requested to be given to me during the service of MY order. The temperature is fine. The frequent Michael Jackson (King of humanitarianism) music is great. The volume is okay, not too too disruptive. The wifi is slow. There is a decent amount of outlets. I saw two women eating a raw salmon sandwich. I have not checked out the menu yet. I will go ahead and give this cafe another chance. To do better by me next time. Mainly because of my MJ's spirit being remembered by them. I'm an Introvert; so I'm glad that the counter/stool next to cafe door was available. The owner is a pure asshole! DO NOT FREQUENT THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!! I made a mistake of using a cup from another place simply, and sitting outside of his storefront. Someone had stopped me and was asking me some things. This nut comes out and tells me I am now banned from his establishment! Today, I am walking past, I happened to look up he say hi. I decide to have a change of heart, and purchase some things because I was hungry, and I had heart medication that I needed to take. He then takes it upon himself to loudly say NO!, you cannot come in here. I yelled back "Do you have any pastries to purchase?". He repeats himself no, and wanted to offer a free ice coffee. WTF???? I then said, "No thank you, I am going to the corner store to make a purchase which I did." Many times, I want to buy something from this man because he is small business. Uh... no thank you. He is jerk, and does not need to have a business. I not only am on crutches, but I have a heart condition, so I do not need his horrific attitude. Boycott his business!!!!!! read more

Seriously, this coffee shop is something else! Usually, I'm all about the matcha or the super sweet drinks because coffee can be a bit too acidic for me. But I decided to go a little wild and try their cold brew with sweet cream... and wow! The coffee was so smooth with hardly any of that bitter taste, it was seriously good. I'm already craving another one, no joke. The sweet cream was perfect too - nice and creamy without being overly sugary. Now, let's talk about the food. I'm not usually one to grab a bite at a coffee place, but I heard good things here. My friend and I split The Works and the Chicken Dijon paninis, and honestly, they were amazing. Like, seriously good. If you skip the panini here, you're totally missing out. And the people working there? Super cool! They were really helpful with suggestions for drinks and food and told me what makes them different from other places. Just a heads up though, if you're planning on going on the weekend, you might want to get there early - it gets pretty busy! read more

I kinda feel bad for these guys. They have a ton of construction going on the street outside until June 2011 so the customers have to put up with the noise and limited parking. The staff is friendly enough but make you feel obligated to buy one of their less than impressive sandwiches if you're going to be staying longer than twenty minutes. Seriously, I bought a tuna melt the other day and there was so little tuna that it just looked like two pieces of bread stacked one atop the other. Also, I don't know how they prepare their egg and ham croissant but it's like they put the egg in some kind of machine, walk away, then come back and slap it on a croissant for you - the egg comes out spongey with bits of ham in it. how 'bout cooking it in a pan? The thing's edible...but not very enjoyable. Their coffee is okay and they usually play really good jazz and it's never too crowded...so those are plusses to me...and hopefully you. The best part is I live right down the street ;) Everything about this place is great. Period. Really awesome lattes and surprisingly delicious breakfast bagel sandwich. Quick in and out because I was in a rush, but all was good. As other people have said, guys that work there couldn't be nicer. Came in once 10 minutes before they opened and he still made us drinks, but couldn't make us breakfast since he still had some stuff to prep. Next few visits, noticed more things: Community bookshelf - take 1, leave 1.They also do punch cards and have a filing system so you can leave yours there, so, unlike me, you don't have 4 all over the place (in your car, in your wallet, in your dresser for no reason...). Will be utilizing this next time. Free wifi. These guys focus on making solidly good coffee, solidly good food, and solid customer service. Will always choose them if I have the choice. read more

I had such a great experience at Coffee Fix! I ordered the horchata coffee hot with oat milk, and it was absolutely delicious. The foam on top was light, semi-sweet, and perfectly balanced--it added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the coffee. My sister got the matcha latte over ice, and she loved it. The matcha was ceremonial-grade, traditional, and unsweetened--you don't need to add anything to it! My brother kept it classic with a regular cup of joe and couldn't stop raving about its rich, bold flavor. We also tried the paninis, and they were fantastic. My favorite was the Fixed Panini sandwich--so flavorful and satisfying. This cozy spot may be small, but it's full of charm. Just a heads-up, there's only street parking, but it's well worth it. I frequented M Street Coffee down the street but wanted to be spontaneous and try this place out. That being said, Coffee Fix is my new go to place. Simply walking into the shop you can already feel how laid back it is. Quiet enough to get some work done yet perfect for grabbing a drink to go on a weekend without having to wait in line forever. Biggest thumbs ups was their authenticity. Definitely can feel how they distinguish themselves from other coffee shops in the area both in their coffee and decor. Nice enough staff. Coffee Fix is either stuffed with people, or almost empty, so you have to have a backup plan before going there. The hard chairs start to hurt my derriere after about an hour. Food prices are prohibitively high at about $2 higher than they should be, which is a mystery. But coffee is normally priced. And they have parking out back. read more

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

Customer service is wonderful! It's always nice to come here and talk with the employees. They're great people overall and they seem to be of similar personalities. The indoor space gets filled up very quickly. It's an open area, but there's almost always a line out the door. They can get really busy and your drinks may take a while if you come during peak hours. Thankfully, they might open up the window so an outdoor breeze comes through. This way, the place never gets humid. Plenty of outdoor seating areas if you want to spend more time here. It can be hard to get here because you have to street park, but it's worth it.

The Millennial sandwich is $14.50, but I was charged an additional $3 to have it on a bagel, bringing the base sandwich to $17.50. I added an egg for another $3, so altogether it was $20.50. For that price, I expected something much more substantial. There were only a few small slices of pepper, a thin smear of whipped avocado, and a very small egg round. It was fine, but definitely underwhelming for the cost. My flat white was $7.50: $5.50 base, plus $1 for macadamia milk and another $1 for the second espresso shot. I found the latter a little odd since two shots are generally standard in a flat white. The coffee itself was good, but the pricing felt steep compared with other coffee shops around Burbank and NoHo. I genuinely love supporting local coffee shops and understand that costs have gone up, but overall the food pricing felt inflated for what you receive. I'd also love to see the prices and upcharges more clearly displayed upfront. The space itself is wonderful, though, and I could absolutely see coming here to grab a coffee, work, or hang out with friends. For me, I'd just skip the food next time.

I'm particularly picky when it comes to coffee shops - I love finding small cafes that either roasts their own beans or makes their own syrups as they usually tends to taste a lot better! We ordered two matchas and two banana bread lattes (1/2 sweet) which weren't overly sweet and tastes amazing! The matcha was also a great color and hand-whisked. Only one person was working the front, which I don't mind waiting, and all props to them! From one barista to another, this cafe is amazing and I definitely recommend stopping by!
