This was the perfect combo of savory and sweet. I haven't stopped thinking about how good this lunch was all day long. It was delicious. Aria reminded me that I have to bring my girls in for some of their amazing espresso martinis and live music one night soon. With 30 different flavors to choose from, she won't have to ask me twice. In addition, they do add a Maria cookie, which is very nostalgic for me. Although the line was very long, they were very efficient with just 3 people and do get our orders at a timely manner. I visited the mobile horse trailer or cart on Tuesday, 8/12/25, at Miriam Hospital on the corner of 7th Ave and Summit Ave in Providence, RI. There is street parking available. At 6:30am, they helped their first customer. I was probably about tenth in line. I ordered the coco-quipe latte from their summer menu. This late is infused with rich arequipe and creamy coconut. It is blended with 2% milk (they didn't have whole milk) and crowned with a fluffy vanilla cold foam and a sprinkle of shredded coconut. Unfortunately, I was expecting the arequipe and coconut flavors to be stronger and I do not think I got shredded coconut on top of it. As I drank more of the latte, it did taste better. The staff members were very friendly and talking to all the customers. It didn't take long for my drink to be ready. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try Maria Maria Coffee Bar.

I have a picture below. We visited RI during the Christmas season, so we not only got to see how lovely this cafe was, but also their awesome Grinch-themed Christmas decor. The walls are filled with cool artwork, but the centerpiece is a mural on the wall of Van Gogh's masterpieces "Starry Night." The owner, Mia, is great to talk to. She takes great pride in what she has envisioned here, and I'm always happy to support a great, small business. She told me about all of their craft latte's and it was really hard to choose. I went with a Gingerbread latte and my wife had the Rhode Islander, which is a latte with coffee syrup. There are so many other drinks to try, so I will probably try to come back while I'm still in town. The latte's were delicious and really such a treat. They also have some pastries, which most are baked in-house. They looked really good! I also love the merchandise they sell which was all local products and things made by local artists. I highly recommend going to Starry Night if you're in the area and skip the chains like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.

She grew a business that is now Rhode Island's best coffee shop, and has been voted the best in Rhode Island Monthly for several years. Now only is this a great coffee shop, but it's also a place that helps build community. If you've read any of my reviews then you would know that is one of the most important things to me. They have a running club that goes out once a month on a Saturday and invites anyone who wants to join to come along. It looks amazing! I've lived in California for almost 25 years, and am very picky about good coffee. For most of my life, RI didn't have a place where you could get pour over coffee. I find that it makes a superior cup of coffee than any other method. Fundati not only does a great pour over, but they also do excellent specialty coffee and tea drinks. This morning, since it's Christmas Eve, I actually ordered their peppermint mocha. It is the best peppermint mocha I've ever had. I can't say much about the food here as I come mainly for the coffee, but it looks great! They offer breakfast sandwiches and burritos as well as lunch sandwiches. I've had a few of their pastries in the past, and they are very good! I love the seating area at Fundati. It is a nice place to sit and do work or have a conversation. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and they have a great social media presence if you've ever watched their videos on Instagram. If you're ever in RI and you need a wonderful coffee shop then this is the place to go.
