    Med iced caramel Lou! Delicious
    Ashlee M.

Marylou's is right up there with Starbucks in terms of coffee flavors- and probably equally expensive! I always always get their Caramel Lou iced coffee and it is delicious! It's VERY SWEET & loaded with sugar (and calories I'm sure)! If you like sweet flavors this is the one for you! Others rave about flavors like: mint chocolate chip, Oreo& Girl Scout cookie! So there's a good variety of flavored speciality coffee! The Caramel Lou is considered a Specialty coffee so it will cost you around $5.48! They have a lot of amazing ladies who work there & I would say 7/10 times my coffee is made perfectly. There are a few people who don't know how to make it & it comes out awful! More then 2x I've gotten it with a minty taste which is equally awful- Idk if whoever trained them- did not train them properly but it's happened multiple times and not just at this location! Or maybe their substituting another ingredient- but it's nasty! However overall I love this delicious iced coffee and you should definitely give it a try if you like flavored iced coffee!

    Nice selection

I had been wanting to try Mary Lou's for a few years now, but just never got around to it. I'm definitely a creature of habit and stick too DD and SB's but I also I like to try new things. This location is inside a shell station and also has a drive thru. My first impression was good, they were blaring my favorite country station and everything was pink.. Which is my obsession :-p. I ordered a minty Lou, which was good but nothing outrageous. I had really high expectations for their coffee but it was just average. I will definitely go back but not as often as I frequent my regular spots. One girl working was cool, the others... Mehhhh...Overall it's cute and unique, coffee is alright not the best or the worst.

    Girl Scout is deliciois!

I wish I lived in Rhode Island for many reasons but especially to be able to have Marylou's coffee every day! The super cute barista explained the menu and recommended the most delicious iced coffee specialty drink called a Girl Scout, think thin mint cookie in a drink! SO GOOD!

I always love me some Marylou's! Some fantastic coffee and I highly recommend getting a stuffed waffle for breakfast.

Luckily, they do have a large space with lots of tables and some couches so finding a seat wasn't a problem. Their menu includes drinks and food (breakfast and lunch). My friend and I shared the BOM sandwich which comes on a Portuguese BOLO with gruyere cheese, roasted red peppers, onion, spinach, BOM sauce, chorizo, and fried egg. For our drinks I had a cinnamon crunch iced coffee with whole milk and coconut cold foam and my friend had one of the coff-tails. I took in all the artwork around the walls while I waited for our order to come out. They brought the sandwich out to us, but I went up to the counter to get the drinks. The sandwich was incredibly good, especially the BOM sauce that was a little spicy. The sausage was thick and well cooked, and the veggies tasted fresh. The bread was very good too but I wish it was slightly toasted (next time). My drink was good. It was not sweet at all, which the cashier did prepare me for, but it still tasted good to me. The milk and coconut cold foam made it very creamy and the coconut flavor was very present throughout. We paid around $20 for the sandwich and two drinks which is fair. They have a drive thru window on the left side of the building, with the line wrapping around the back of the building, with plenty of parking in the front and back for dining in.

It's a cute, welcoming shop with genuinely nice staff and a lot of personality. I had a fantastic cold brew topped with maple cold foam, along with The Hot One -- egg, cheese, hot honey butter and chorizo on a locally made bolo. The bolo was incredible: beautifully toasted on the outside, soft inside, with that wonderful hot honey butter playing against the spicy chorizo, egg and melted cheese. Absolutely scrumptious. You can tell there's a lot of love here -- in the food, in the coffee, and in the shop itself. Fundati is another reminder of just how lucky Rhode Island is to have so many terrific independent coffee houses. What a gem!

First, I like the big tall windows and the patio area outside which I assume is very popular during warmer months. Second, I was captivated by the different cold brew drip towers they have going. They have a lot of unique drink flavors to choose from, of which I picked the honey lavender latte. At first I thought it was a little too sweet, but it grew on me by the second sip. I could actually taste both the lavender and the honey. The size was just right and the prices are also average. I stayed a little reading a book and found that is it a peaceful environment even though some people were studying and others were playing board games. I would come back to try other items. The staff was very friendly.

Wow - this may have just become my favorite coffee! I ordered the Beach Bum - a summer seasonal latte with coconut, hazelnut and vanilla as an iced coffee and it was absolutely delicious. It earned a permanent spot in my cup holder for the drive home and I was already thinking about my next visit before I got there. The shop itself is cute and welcoming. I even had the chance to watch Scott Groome painting a new mural outside and it's going to look fantastic. The staff were friendly, patient and happy to answer my questions, which made the visit even better. My only complaint is that the menu changes a little too quickly. There were drinks I wanted to come back and try that were already gone! That's probably just another reason I'll have to keep stopping by. I'll definitely be back soon to finally get my own latte bucket!

Some are extremely rude some don't seem to know what they're doing, and others just stare at you like you have 10 heads. I also seem to pay a different price every time I come in, which is a little alarming considering my order is pretty basic. The blonde woman who seems to be some sort of team lead is especially less than interested in being there. She's often on her phone, has a major RBF, avoids customers, or walks away when people need help. They're also constantly out of things I want to try. A few weeks ago, they were out of basically every cup size or lid -- how do you run out of CUPS?! Today I was offered a bucket because they didn't have any large lids. Like... how?! I don't want a bucket when it doesn't even fit in a cup holder. I really wish it was back to the way it was when I first started coming. It used to be one of my favorite places to go. That being said, the new outdoor seating area is super cute and a really nice addition!

It's a nice area and the restaurant has a variety of fresh fruits/vegetables and other farmers market like items for sale along with a large seating area and bar. Our waitress was incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu. She answered any questions we had with no issue. As we left she apologized for the delay as they were understaffed. In truth, we didn't even notice. The service was excellent and we were in and out in less than 50 minutes. If this was tough night for them I can't imagine how stellar their service is on a good night! Congrats! For food we ordered the burrata pesto dip, crab cakes, and curry chicken lettuce cups. The "dip" was more of a plate of burrata with pesto and 4 pieces of bread. The cheese and pesto were great but we wished there were 2 more pieces of bread to split. The curry chicken was delicious. Probably my favorite of the meal. The curry spices were excellent, lettuce crisp, and I loved the addition of the cranberries. I didn't think it would come out as a chicken salad consistency but it didn't hinder the dish. The only miss were the crab cakes. Obviously crab is seafood but I found the cakes to be very fishy. The consistency was off and became mushy pretty quickly. When we return I'd skip these. Three tapas, one mai tai, and a mocktail came out to $88. Not as bad as I was expecting and we would definitely come back again to try some other menu items.
