    Matcha latte with lavender

The matcha latte with lavender is definitely one of my new favorite drinks from Starbucks! I went on Easter and the person working there was very kind and made my drink so fast! Highly recommend.

This Starbucks knows how to make a good coffee! You can just tell by the color of the coffee if it's going to be delicious and let me tell you the color never disappoints. This location has really good service too. I'm always welcomed when I go in and my online order is always ready at my pick up time or sometimes even earlier which I appreciate. Overall a good location just keep an eye for Parking since they only offer street parking.

You know the deal--it's a Starbucks, so I don't need to bother with the intricacies of the menu. What I will say that's unique to this Starbucks is that I consistently receive great and efficient service on my afternoon coffee breaks. The afternoon team is friendly and has always offered tips on when to redeem my stars for a free drink. Another unique part of this Starbucks is their seating area. While they don't have any seats inside currently, they're attached to a corporate office building. As a result there's a huge atrium to the side that you can sit in with tons of natural light and greenery. It's a nice little refuge from the winter weather in PVD with the same Starbucks menu you know inside and out.

I guess being a chain makes all Starbucks pretty much the same, consistent. This is one of stores left in downtown Providence, as the one at the Biltmore has closed. The lady who got my order was very nice, very welcoming face and attitude. I decided to try one of their panini sandwiches, which are pre-packaged and you get them from the cold case. I really enjoyed my lunch. I took it home and grilled it, making it extra toasty and warm. It was very good. Parking is always a bit of an issue in downtown, but if you live or work there...or...are in the area, make yourself a favor and stop by, you will be treated nicely and you will get Starbucks Rewards if you belong to their program.

This Starbucks is located within the front lobby of a hotel. Service was relatively slow; they seemed in no rush to take my order. I made the mistake of getting one of their holiday drinks - the caramel brûlée latte. It was one of the sweetest thing I have ever consumed... I felt like I was not going to be able to sleep for years after drinking that. There is little to no seating area within the shop; only about 5 counter seats near the back all squished together. There are outlets under the counter, though, so that is good. The seating area in the back is more spacious but the tables are relatively small so if you need to do a lot of work I suggest going somewhere else or snagging one of the two larger tables. The door that exits the back seating area to the outside has two door frames; the left does not open but the right side does. I would not recommend sitting at the table nearest to the right door. As soon as someone opens it, a huge gust of wind will blow towards you and if it a cold day, it will freeze your inner soul without a doubt. The bathroom is small and grosser than other Starbucks bathrooms. Overall, this is a pretty mediocre Starbucks. Convenient location but nothing special at all.

It's been a long long time since my last morning at Starbucks. Not just because they are not good, just because I was out of the states for almost a year. And where I went to had Starbucks an hour away. So when I returned and got over the jet leg, woke up when it is not dark outside (I know the jet leg is horrible) and headed to Starbucks. I already knew what I am taking before getting here. Wrap and coffee. Basic, simple, and taste great. Got what I wanted. The wrap was little tasteless, can't really say why. But it was fun tasting the Tatar's I missed so much again.

I have always loved this particular Starbucks located in downtown providence next to the citizens bank. This is my favorite Starbucks location because every-time I walked into that Starbucks the baristas were always super nice and always got my drink right. I usually go in there to get my free drink after every 12 stars but I also go to chat with one of my friends from school. He has been working there for a bit and he's a really nice guy. I went into Starbucks today to try the new s'mores frapp and use my free coffee. Totally worth my free coffee because the s'mores frapp is so good and everything tastes better free right. But I love going to that spot. Hope to go back soon before the end of the trimester. Keep up the great work Starbucks I am a gold member for life and Starbucks coffee is my drink of choice any day of the week.

This is not a very good Starbucks. They have no outlets or USB ports at the sitting areas which is very disappointing.

Super flaky and a lot of delicious flavor from the filling and garnishes. It was very busy when I stopped by midday. They were out of some items already (I missed out on trying the French onion croissant before they replaced it with another menu item). I did find a spot to sit outside but I can see it being even harder to find a seat during peak times. It's a bit off the beaten path yet it's known and popular for a reason. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying more items and of course the coffee!

I was sold as soon as I read their menu and saw that they had a Halva latte. This is one of my favorites and I can only get it at cafes near Boston. If you haven't had it, it's a must try. Halva is a sweet confection that is sesame based. Brown Bee definitely delivered on this one. I hope it stays on the menu! My wife had a pistachio latte that is made with homemade pistachio syrup. It was 10/10. We didn't plan on eating, but we did end up getting one of their cinnamon rolls with a homemade cream cheese frosting. It was fantastic! They have plenty of seating and although we waited inline, there were several seats available and we got to enjoy our drinks and cinnamon roll. This place is worth the wait in line. We will be going back again this weekend. I want to try the everything croissant with cream cheese baked inside! We may also try one of their breakfast sandwiches. My only recommendation is that they add little chalk boards for each of the croissants with what they are as they had to keep telling everyone what each one was. Still a 10/10.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

Ellie's is dangerous. I walked in thinking coffee and one pastry. That lasted about 30 seconds…read more The owner (adorable, by the way) was walking around checking on tables and making sure everyone was happy. It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.
