Excellent! Our group of 40+ was seated within a half hour of arriving. Waitstaff was very efficient and attentive. They even allowed separate checks. Food came out hot and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Menu has something for everyone and prices are fair. We will be coming back for sure! read more

Cody's has fabulous food and wonderful servers. The bacon wrapped filet and shrimp is out of this world. I would definitely recommend calling ahead. The first night we attempted to eat there the wait was 1.5 hrs so the next night we called ahead and got right in. read more

Thought I would take my parents out for a steak. We sat at the bar because the restaurant was busy and we don't mind sitting at the bar to eat. The bar tenders seemed to view us as extra work rather than customers. They were in the weeds but it was clear they were understaffed and perhaps had people who were not capable of handling the workload. We ordered drinks, apps and we each ordered our favorite steak. We waited forever - maybe 40 minutes - for the steak but it was fine because we had drinks and good company. The steaks (about $100 worth) finally arrived. They looked great except they were literally below room temperature and the sides were cold. When we were finally asked 10 minutes later if we needed anything I told the bar tender each of the steaks were cold. The manager came over and gave a coupon for a free appetizer!!!!! I laughed out loud. They served us over $100 of steaks we could not eat and we got a free appetizer. Unbelievable. And here's a tip to the young female "this is my store" manager, when you are willing and able to spend $100 on meat and another $80 on wine, drinks and appetizers, we don't value a free coupon for a plate of nachos. Don't be stupid. It's clear your lousy management has lead to a lousy experience on so many levels for your customers. It's sad really. read more

I have never had a bad dinner or experience here. It's big and noisy but the steaks and other things are well prepared and delivered within reasonable time frames. It's one of my favorite places in Sebring. read more

My husband and I are here from out of town due to a family member being in the hospital. We chose this restaurant after reading the reviews. All I can say is I'm not so sure that I will choose restaurants based on yelp reviews. Our server was way more interested in the table of four men than she was my husband and me. We ordered the chips and queso dip appetizer. Dip was cold and had no flavor. Top sirloin steak was tough and had NO FLAVOR. We never received the dinner rolls. Baked potato had little butter and was also cold. Steamed veggies were very bland. Never got drink refills of either water or diet coke. We got a refill of the bottomless salad after our meal. The restrooms were filthy and mold was every where. I cannot believe that this place has an overall 4 star rating. The food is way over priced and the meal we shared was just bad. If you want a great steak, great service and a menu full of choices I recommend going to Cowpokeswateringhole. Better prices. Much better food!! I Do Not recommend Cody's!! read more

Went for dinner on Valentines Day. Dinner was very good. Amy, our waitress was a doll. Told us lots going on in the area. The salad is fantastic. I had the prime rib, lobster tail special. My husband had the filet, lobster tail. Both were very good. I expected the lobster tail to be a little dry, but it was very well cooked. We went to codys in Madeira beach and loved it so much we went two nights in a row. This codys was nothing close to it. The endless salad dressing was typical cheap ranch from dollar store taste not the signature garlic ranch. The rolls were cooked today but earlier today and kept in warmer. My chopped steak was bland and the gravy served with it was basically a roux with some salt and pepper. My sweet potato was ok and their cinnamon butter tasted the same as our first visit- good. Prime Rib was outstanding. All you can eat salad, can't say anything bad about the food. During the season, go early, it fills up fast. Last visit I has a Ribeye, it was tender and delicious. read more

Went on a weekday, had two for one fajitas and the steak ones were great. They had drink specials too, what's not to love?

Every steak I have ever eaten from this location has bee excellent. I visit from time to time on Sunday's for their lunch specials which are delicious and very large portions for such a low price. read more

I really am sad to post a negative. This place used to be great, but we were there a week ago and my husband's prime rib was tough and salty and my pork chop was way over cooked and so salty i could hardly stand it. The restaurant is located in a senior area so overly salted food is a big negative. Sadly we will not go back - it is not worth the price when we can't handle the food. read more

Great place. We were on our way home to Miami & were looking for something other than drive thru. We weren't disappointed at all. Hubby got the ribs, literally FALL OFF THE BONE. I got the country fried chicken sandwich - delish! My son got the steak done perfectly medium! The baked potatoes and fries solid! Our server, Jessica was friendly, attentive & helpful! I can not tell you how great this place is, they give you enormous amounts of food and the best part of that is that it taste wonderful, and is prepared exactly as you order. I love the way the servers write their names up side down on the table, (at the booth, I never sat at a table, I love the booths) Billy, the manager when we went there is so friendly and wants to make sure that you love your meal. Very good service. Had a very tiny issue with one of our four meals, and within 5 minutes the manager was there. Not only did they completely remove said meal from the bill, apologize profusely, they brought us a special desert for our entire table. Not a fan of their Thanksgiving Turkey special (Bob Evans is better) but most everything else is yummy. The staff is very good and knows the menu. Good steaks (my favorite is the prime rib) & big delicious burgers. The onion ring stack (or half stack) is a must. The house salad is average, but their hot rolls are yummy - served with cinnamon butter. Stay away from the chicken wings; simply awful. This is basically a place for steaks & burgers, so don't expect other 4 star entrees. Tables are covered with heavy paper, and roasted peanuts in the shell are complimentary. It seems the servers are well trained, attentive, and polite, as I haven't had a bad one in all the times I've dined here. During busy times, there is usually a long wait. If possible, try for booth seating; the tables are so close together that you feel like you're eating with those at the next table, and it can be difficult to squeeze between some of the seats. If it was possible, I'd take a half star away, due to the table seating, but not a full star. All things considered, this is as good as it gets in Sebring folks. read more
