Much love to the Cody's / Bettola duo. Special thank you to Josh, our fantastic server w the best suggestions & Schaefer, the iconic sommelier. (If you're not up to speed yet, Cody's & Bettola have combined at Cody's & serve both menus!!) We opted to sit outside after a long day of work - love the atmosphere. Sounds of water streaming and smells of beautiful flowers. Perfect. We ordered from the Bettola menu last night && enjoyed a bottle of Riesling - Wine Wednesday friends, don't miss out!! (: To start off, we had the brussel sprouts - 11/10 a crispy, delicious flavorbomb. I ordered the rigatoni & bae ordered the scallops. SOOO FLAVORFUL. ugh. I brought leftovers home to eat later, but tbh .. they didn't last long! So yummy. We ended the night with a layered honey cake that tastes like .. angels and all things good and whole in the world. I don't know how else to explain it! Truly though .. Josh was fantastic - he was very attentive and literally gave us the best foodie recommendations. Schaefer filled us in on our choice of wine and was just all around great to connect with. Thank you again for an amazing wine&dine evening.

Wow, wow, wow.... Hands down one of the best accidental restaurants I've stumbled upon! I honestly didn't even look at the reviews before going and after sitting down I knew it was fate that brought my appetite there. This place is tucked in a shopping center off Iliff and Parker and met some friends for dinner after one said she wanted Italian food and suggested the spot. The ambience is cozy and inviting and the service is what makes it that much better. We chose a few apps off the menu and then asked for a recommendation for a bottle of wine to share - bonus: 1/2 price Wine Wednesdays! - and it was on point! I can't believe I forgot to take a picture but I'm sure it's a red wine that most every client has enjoyed! Since everything is made from scratch, you may wait a little longer but not to worry... the fresh homemade bread the guys bring to the table quite possibly might be the best I've ever had. It's so light and crispy with a buttery flavor that melts in your mouth and it's not what you are expecting. Paired with the oil and balsamic dipping sauce it's sooooo good! I ordered the fish and chips and the batter was perfection with a side of coleslaw that was extremely flavorful and some homemade fries. My friend ordered the salmon salad and the portion was huge and had so many fresh flavors that the combination was described as an explosion in her mouth. The other couple shared the seafood linguine and couldn't get enough of the sauce and flavor. We were more than satisfied and full by the time we left and can't wait to go back! Cheers. Thanks guys for making our first visit amazing!!

Seriously love this place. I'm from LA and visiting but they are so hospitable here. Have my kid bread and he's Allergic to nuts so they fried the Asian spring roll again separately voluntarily. The Italian place said they were full even though there open tables. glad we bailed on that place. This place is an Italian Asian fusion and it works well. Good value and well executed.

What an incredible experience! Don't let the outside fool you. From the moment you step in the door you will have an incredible culinary experience in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was top! Chef's Asian and Italian fusion creations are like nothing I have ever had before. And the recommended wine choices were perfect! I hosted a large group who said "a 15 out of 10" " such unexpected amazing flavors like I have never had before". "The staff really delivered an experience, not just a meal"a few favorites- black cod with dried cherry Shiraz over a black truffle asparagus ravioli; veal Osso bucco;5spice garlic shrimp; short rib lasagna. Honey cake and Panna cotta with berry red wine. And check out the sister restaurant a few doors down Bettola

Came in on a snow day, obvious that their regular server(s) were it working. It didn't cause too much of an issue, since the restaurant was nearly empty, our service was still amazing. I got the creamy asparagus soup while my friend got the chicken Parmesan which was amazing.

Can't decide if you want a pizza or pho for a dinner or maybe both? Look no further than Cody's cafe! This place doesn't impress from the outside and looks super old and outdated but it's really nice inside with a modern decor and a great vibe. We've tried spinach wontons, goat cheese crostini and bruschetta as appetizers (each $4 during a happy hour), and everything was pretty delightful! I couldn't decide between shrimp pizza and speciality salmon dish and our waitress (who was super friendly and kind, by the way) suggested salmon. It was full of flavors, great presentation and salmon was perfectly cooked inside (I Iike it medium rare) with a bit of yummy glaze on the outside. One of my friends got Pho, and another one went with eggplant rollatini, and everything looked and tasted really good. I really want to try their pizza one of these days and see for myself what's everyone is raving about. Overall, it is it's a very an interesting menu with a mix of Asian and Italian cuisine, and I could tell that the owners and the chef put their heart and soul into each item of the menu!

Post COVID/Dining 7.9.2021 The dining room is NOW OPEN! They also have a lovely patio option with a water feature and LOVELY FRESH flowers. It was so nice to enjoy a great meal and sit down and dine! We enjoyed the Friday busy in the restaurant with two servers running around, lots of guest chatting and enjoying their meals with loved ones. It was nice to see friends catching up, date nights, girls night wine happy hour and large parties ending the work week at Cody's. It felt great to enjoy a meal not in a take out box and enjoy some good pasta by candlelight. I enjoyed a Misto Salad, Clams Linguine and the Matcha Key Lime Pie. All a must order. There were a couple clams with a sand crunch but the noodles and ambiance of the restaurant were fantastic! The sauce was yummy!!! The linguine noodles were Aldente and perfect! I enjoyed the warm bread with the clam sauce and the fresh herbs in every bite. The two servers were outstanding and worked so hard running around a busy and FULL restaurant. I was so grateful for a nice meal and enjoyed the experience! They have a great wine selection and change up the menu seasonally. I'll be back soon!

Dropped by this restaurant after landing in Denver. We were definitely in for a treat. Italian food with an Asian twist. Josh the bartender/waiter was so nice and attentive. We got the lemongrass penne, brussel sprouts, rigatoni and it was allllll delicious! The fresh baked bread was so perfect and the wine selection is amazing. Definitely don't want to miss out on this place. They currently merged with Cody's next door. So the food was from Both menus. Incredible! Chef Sue is killing it! We love you and will definitely be back for more!

This place is an absolute DELIGHT. They temporarily absorbed Betolla Bistro (which is two doors down) and MY LORD do they have some extraordinary Chinese food. They also have the Betolla menu and but they had a menu and guest chef for the Lunar New Year and obviously I got DEEPLY into that. The service was top notch, wine list was lovingly curated, decor was cute and casual and they are doing well with sanitation and social distancing

Rib eye fettuccine. So delicious! Creamy, well balanced flavors, abundant pieces of meat and mushrooms.

We returned to this nice place. What did we find? For starters, newly remodeled floor. Very nice, clean, cozy, very comfortable. A new menu, delicious dishes. My son asked for Italian food and immediately Cody's cafe came into my mind. We were greeted right away as soon as we stepped in. The staff, absolutely friendly and helping. Lots of smiles and the feeling that you're home. After all, this is an Italian place. No comparison to American Italian chain eateries. This is the real thing. Best Italian food and care in Denver. Period. We started with goat cheese crostini. Simply delicious. The right amount of cheese, pine nuts, and caramelized onions. The bread tasted fresh, so it must be made onsite. The chef allowed us to taste a new item not in the menu yet: special calzone in a very unique marinara sauce and fried eggplant. Exquisite. Full of flavor, a nice amount of cheese in the calzone and the combination with the eggplant and the marinara sauce is superb. You really want to try it. For my main dish, I ordered the Parmesan chicken. A generous size of chicken breast, well seasoned, the right amount of cheese, perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, but the inside moist and tender. How do they do that? Typically chefs forget that Parmesan cheese ya salty, therefore the final product is saltier than normal. But not in this case. The plate is so appetizing at sight, and when you dig in, it really delivers. You won't be disappointed. It has spaghetti over a marinara sauce as a garnish, which ties the entire dish. Fresh tomatoes that taste like a real tomato, you can really identify each ingredient, since they treat each element as they should, the end product is absolutely delectable and to die for. Once you eat it, you'll understand. To finalize the experience, what about a very nice portion of green tea cheesecake? It sounds mysterious until you try a bite. Creamy, thin crust, the green tea works with the cheese and none of the elements overpower the rest of the ingredients but actually produces a refreshing sweet creamy smile. I love this. Now that I think about it, my mouth waters. I have to call them and see if they sell it by the unit. I'll be coming back soon and try new more exciting dishes and will share with you all. Thank you Cody Cafe. You really made my day. August 30. 2019 ------------------- My kids and I went to try something different. One of my boys wanted Italian so instead of the traditional Olive Garden closer to my home I decided to yelp. I was hesitant since the plaza where the restaurant is located at doesn't look fancy. I thought I would regret this move. Once we walked in, I found that the place atmosphere is up to a nice bistro likes. Modern and comfortable furniture and chairs. Well, nice decor as well. Kids meal is so inexpensive but high in flavors and abundant. My rib eye fettuccine was spectacular. As I waited for the food to be brought to the table I read some reviews about the place. So my expectations were high. The flavors really pop, delicious and all ingredients work together to produce a very satisfying meal. Very generous portions. Full of flavor. Meat cooked just right, nice, moist and tender. The pasta was also on point. Right ratio of pasta, meat, and sauce. And the sauce was out of this world. I can surely say that this food competes with Olive Garden meals head-on. Prices are even lower than the Olive Garden. The place is small so I'm afraid that pretty soon they have to move to a bigger place. Give it a try and you won't regret this. In the end, my boys were happy with the quality of the food and I felt relieved I made the right choice for our meal today.

Who knew a Vietnamese and Italian fusion would go so well together?! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves-- service was very pleasant and the food was so delicious! We got the soft shell crab and spinach and cheese wontons. Both were amazing and freshly cooked. The fusion of the wontons were beautiful and so different than any other wontons I've had, plus the fruit sauce accents it so well! The seafood in our entrees were very delicious and fresh. The servings were pretty large so I'll be having leftovers and I'm so excited to experience the meal again. The Vietnamese paella was insanely comforting. The Vietnamese flavors in a Spanish dish blended perfectly! Our desserts were very enjoyable! The chocolate cake had a pleasant saltiness. The matcha key lime pie had a great tang to finish off the meal. Service was so spot on. Melissa made us feel very welcomed even while being busy. The owners were sooo sweet and made sure we were taken cared of. I highly recommend trying Cody's out!!!

Where to begin. This place is fantastic. The atmosphere is nice, leaning towards elegant. The service was exceptional. They were very attentive and friendly and provided some great suggestions. The food was spectacular. We (there was three of us) had some appetizers, soup, entrees, a few drinks, and all four desserts. Absolutely not a single complaint about any of it. I really don't think you could make a bad choice here. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go back.

From the second I walked in, service was impeccable, welcoming, and helpful. Staff went above and beyond to walk me to the restroom (as it was my first time dining here), out to my patio table, and quickly brought water. Everyone was dressed up for the occasion, chandeliers were lining the interior with a gorgeous and sophisticated look, and the music was a fun K-Pop/dance vibe. Our table of three started with the Buddha Button (essentially a lemon drop martini with Deep Eddy's and a special flower that invigorates your taste buds to create a literal "party in your mouth"). Anything cold adds to the buzzing, vibrating energy; pair the flower with a cold cocktail and it's a phenomenal experience! We also had a bottle of white wine - it was to be expected: tasty. We tried the crab rangoons and thought they were a fun snack, although $21 for four rangoons was tough. I could've gone to Panda Express and gotten four for $3.99 and called it a day. Christine and I both had the Miso Sea Bass - easily the crowd favorite. Even though it was light, it was very flavorful with the sauce, mushrooms, and rice included in the meal. It was mostly filling, though charging $64 for that as the main entree is quite a big stretch. The crowd winner was our server, Maddie. She had amazing recommendations, a full understanding of the menu, and was very attentive and personable. Overall, fun experience! The price for the quantity of food makes it a dubious chance of returning, but A+ for the staff!

Was helped by who I assume was the matriarch of the cafe. I ordered their number 1 black bean sauce noodles with pork, Jajangmyeon. My friend had mentioned that they make their noodles in-house and after my first bite, I had no reason to doubt their claim. A giant bowl of springy chewy noodles, topped with black bean sauce, with fried onions and tender hand-cut pork. It came with a side of kimchi, pickled radish, dice raw onion and extra black bean sauce. The main standout was the texture of the noodles. The kimchi was so crunchy and fresh, the picked radish also crunchy with a nice vinegar and not salty bite. I feel very confident in my chopstick skills, but picking these noodles up were a challenge, which is why I assume they also left a pair of kitchen shears when they delivered the noodles. Chewy, springy, bouncy. Not overcooked at all, because trying to lift out a portion to chow down on, the noodles would not break and you get had to get my face into the bowl and keep slurping until I got to the end of those noodles before I could come up for air. Ended up getting an order to go, the Lajogi or fried chicken with hot sauce. The recommendation seemed to be their sweet and sour pork, but it sounded too much like Chinese-American food. It was fried with onions, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, green peppers, jalepenos, cabbage and dried chilis in a garlicy and mildly spicy sauce. I'm not familiar with this dish, but maybe it's a Chinese-Korean dish? Not overloaded with sugar and vinegar that an Chinese-American dish would have, but still comforting. Also came with additional rice, picked radish and extra black bean sauce. You can taste the love in this place and just looking at the sliced radish they serve you, it has got to be cured and sliced in house. Imperfectly perfect slices of radish that provide a nice refreshing crunch and break from the richness of the dishes. My first time here and excited to revisit and try their other offerings. Hit up H Mart after to pick up some groceries.

Table next to us says they only come for lunch and feel like they only serve the more wanted items for dinner and just say they are "out" because they've NEVER had it. If that is true, it is highly disappointing. AYCE is 18.99 per person. Here is what we were able to order: 1. Scallion Pancake- good crisp! I liked how light and delicious this bite was 2. Crab Cheese Wonton- these were HOT in terms of temp, but 99% cream cheese so it was okay. 3. Chili Oil Wonton: loved the flavor, however skin was a bit tough, didnt steam long enough. 4. Chicken Wing- very very dry, comes without any sauce or seasoning so its on the side. 5. Pork Bun- a bit dry, but it had a savory flavor too it, not as sweet. 5. Chasu Bun- loved this one more than the 6. Pork Dumpling (did not have Beef)- it was okay, filling was decent, but again the wrapper had a weird bite to it. 7. Soup Dumplings: definitely better than the other dimpling, however they all stuck to the bottom so the wrapper ripped and I never tried the soup. 8. Chicken Feet: i normally love chicken feet but the braised sauce was underwhelming and not very...good? flavorful? 9. House Noodles: the noodles tasted a bit off. Green beans tasted and looked can to me. It just wasn't a favorite. Desserts: 1. Mango was very artificial. 2. Mocha was good, nice chocolatey taste Overall...I dont know if I would be back. I had such high hopes to try the spareribs, taro buns, golden lava buns, beef dumplings, lotus bun, sticky rice, etc. But they were all "out". Again...for an AYCE place at lunch it was $42 before tip and it would've been nice to have the full menu array. The ambiance is very bright and large screens, so it can definitely capture your attention. There was only one main server and she was doing her best.

I got to (re)appreciate this business that's in my direct neighborhood today…read more I don't quite recall when the last time was when I utilized this restaurant. I wanted something super quick and yet something of quality (as I was headed my way to my side hustle later in the afternoon.) Asuka Ramen and Poke, all of a sudden, hit me with a thought, "It's been a while since I last used them for a good poke bowl." In a way, it was an opportunity for me to appreciate it for the first time in a while so I did just that. They use a deep (large) bowl for the Build Your Own poke bowl (this is the only size) for to-go. When I asked for "half and half" for the base (white rice and greens), the young man behind the ordering counter generously pressed the white sushi rice into it. He then placed some green leaves on one side of it. "Looking good" I thought. For the protein, I chose salmon, tuna and yellowtail. For the rest (such as sauce etc.) I don't quite remember what I got me and yet, this young man sure wasn't anything close to "stingy" (lol)! As to show his appreciation for my business, he built my bowl with precision and generosity. I like the fact that they have one size for to-go poke bowl (this simplifies the process on their end and our end.) At the flat rate of $16 (unless you get additional protein which is $3) is also reasonable for the size. I got the impression that this is a business that they simply don't operate for profit; they operate for the social responsibility's sake. And of course, this above-and-beyond young man didn't fail to forget to ask me if I would need utensils or drink. He gave me everything I would need. Once I got to my job site, I parked my car in the parking lot and started devouring my beautifully tailored (to my preferences) bowl. The fresh ingredients, the way it was built, and the overall volume of it, it was impossible for me to find a single reason why this was one of the best poke bowls I've had in the recent few months. That was when I came to appreciate how lucky I am to live just up the street from this tiny and yet mighty poke place. I need to visit this place more going forward.

We ordered General Cho's dumplings (4 dumplings) and shrimp pad Thai, and the total was $38.70 . There is a 20% service fee which doesn't feel great when you're getting takeout and not actually being served. Anyway, high prices aside, the food was just ok. The dumplings were good, and the pad Thai was not what we were expecting. There was essentially no peanut flavor, and tasted more like pad see ew. There was one strong flavor, and no room for any of the other flavors (like the shrimp, noodle, or veg) to come through, even after squeezing the lime. Glad to have a locally owned restaurant in the neighborhood, but wasn't impressed and likely will not return.

Delicious, modern Asian food with a nod to classical European cooking…read more My wife and I ordered most items on the happy hour menu. We shared French Onion Soup Dumplings, General Cho's Soup Dumplings, Shrimp Cake Bao Buns, Pork Belly Bao Buns, Kaya Toast, Autumn Squash Dumplings, Salt & Pepper Calamari, Korean Hot Fried Chicken Slider, and Kimchi Fried Rice with Pork Belly. Some items blew me away more than others. What stood out the most to me were the General Cho's Soup Dumplings, Shrimp Cake Bao Buns, and Kaya Toast. Service was well-paced and our server was kind. We went early on a Sunday and we were the only ones in the restaurant until we nearly left. So the ambiance for us during that time was quiet and warm.

I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and a small rare steak pho, the spring rolls were not very good I think the cilantro was too dominant, and overpriced (every other Thai/viet restaurant I've been to in Aurora has been about $1-2 cheaper). The pho was good though and the small portion is well sized in my opinion and a great deal. I was served by an older gentleman and a younger lady; I'm not sure if something was lost in translation between me and the man but he was pretty loud with me and very dismissive when I asked for the WiFi (he just said no WiFi although they had one, maybe employees only I really don't know). He didn't speak to me much and wouldn't reply after I'd thank him for serving me the food or filling waters, and I noticed he was a lot friendlier to the other guests. He also was staring at me a lot as I'd eat which made me uncomfortable. It's possible I'm overthinking it but I honestly felt like I gave a lot of opportunities to kind of establish a little bit friendlier conversation and he just wasn't with it. I started to think that maybe he was worried I'd dine and dash since I came alone and whatever else he gathered from my appearance. It made me uneasy enough that I asked to pay before I finished eating because again I assumed that must have been why I was getting that kind of treatment. Regardless, I definitely won't come back. There's better pho out there and definitely places in the same genre of eating with a much better ambience.

There's a full bar, which I recommend you take advantage of. Pricing is pretty standard, about $15-$20 for an entree. I ordered the green curry with beef. It was delicious! My roommate ordered spring rolls and a Thai tea with boba. Her spring rolls fell apart, tasted mid, and the sauce didn't save it. Her drink also didn't hit; she didn't end up finishing it. I'm pretty torn about whether or not I want to return. If I did, it's because the staff were actually super nice and I'd wanna support nice people. Just might not order a spring roll or Thai tea next time
