This place was a great find and thankful we stopped in for breakfast. 4.5 stars. The staff were phenomenal and so kind! You order at the bar and they bring your food out. We had the guava pastries which we all loved! My husband had an omelette and said it was good. Kids had pancakes and bacon and I had a bacon and cheese sandwich. They food was good. The inside is cute and clean with a nice painting on the wall! We would return!

Went here after a trip to the deer refuge which was a bust. This place was a much better find. The staff is super nice & the service is fast. We split a sandwich with ham, Genoa salami & carnita meat. Wow! Yum! Sweet potato fries were good sized, not shoestring. Skip the chain restaurant & try this little gem of a place.

Very cute restaurant in strip mall next to Winn Dixie. Our food was delicious and the service was great. Very fresh.

Breakfast spot in the lower keys serving up homemade steak n eggs, pancakes, huevos rancheros, and other basic rise n shine staples! Quaint little place with grandma in the kitchen cooking up made to order dishes. I liked how fast it was from start to finish, I would come here again if I was in the area.

Great Cuban/South American Restaurant. We had their huevos rancheros for breakfast which is different from the Mexican variety. They take a tortilla and layer it with a fresh, slightly runny, egg and add salsa while topping it with black beans! Really good. Then, have a coffee con leche with light sugar and you are in heaven. The Cuban coffee con leche is my love. I just found out today that you can order a dark coffee con leche and get less milk. 83° high today and 73° low. The same for 2 weeks!!!

Delicious and affordable Cuban food in a very laid-back setting. It's always nice to find a place that's not a tourist trap in the Keys.

    Enjoying a late breakfast yum!

Good food, great coffee. Found the disposable plates, cups, cutlery to be a little cheap.

Great food, but we would rather have had real plates, rather than the paper. Cuban sandwich was very good.

Closed for remodeling. Can't wait for it to re-open. Roasted Cuban Pork on Saturday's is the best!

A BPK institution. Keys soul food at its best. Try the Cuban sandwich or the daily specials. Very low prices.

If you are looking for an organic vegetarian or pescatarian lunch option in Big Pine Key, you need…read moreto stop here. It's in a tiny strip mall near the 31 mile marker! We found this place by chance on our way north from Key West. Lunch menu: lunch items are mostly fresh wraps, salads, and/or soup. The soup of the day was chickpea curry and there are lots of juices and smoothie options. We shared a large tuna melt wrap with everything (tuna, avocado, cheese, cashews). This was so fulfilling, simple and delicious! It came loaded with a bunch of fresh organic chopped veggies and a wonderful homemade tahini dressing. The kombucha was nice and another couple loved their banana peanut butter smoothie. We ate at the two bar stools near the register but there are also tables out the back door which seemed like a nice option. The staff and owner were super friendly and personable. Store: There are many snacks, staple items you can purchase if you are looking to stock up on organic, Non GMO & vegetarian items during vacation. Fun bonus fact: The owner says she used to do Light Shows for Janis Joplin. She said she used light, oil and water. I wasn't sure what that meant so I just looked up "light shows in the 1960s" online and found a cool video and now my mind is blown!! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TW733Ut5zE0
