I came here with my girlfriends on a Thursday night around 7pm. It was super busy and it's not a big restaurant so gotta get there early to get a table! Cute place to come with family friends or for date. We got the crispy egg rolls and vegetarian spring rolls for appetizers which were really good! For my meal I did the chicken fried rice which was yummy. They have gluten free options which was important for one of my friends.

Best Thai food I've EVER had! It was so good that I got the same meal a few days later. We're from Pittsburgh and it doesn't seem to me that we have anything this good. Fresh ingredients and the chicken was very lean. Perfectly spiced! Thanks for blowing up my taste buds in a good way. I hope to come back soon. The service is top notch too, our waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant is clean and comfortable.

Cute and clean inside. There is outdoor seating next by the building; I would sit outside if I could, since this restaurant is in a fairly spacious and "scenic" location. Pad thai was sweet, maybe slimy depending on who you ask. It has a more subtle sweetness/flavor which is appreciated. Doesnt necessarily leave me feeling sick because of the sweetness that I know some thai restaurants tend to lean towards. Ordered medium spice level, but didnt really end up tasting any spice at all: options were no spice, mild, medium, spicy. Entrees come out with free side of salad which was a nice touch. Quantity is adequate I would recommend dine-ins, my experiences with food quality for to-go orders have not been too great. TIP: This restaurant has yet to be claimed on Yelp by the owners of the restaurant, especially since this is a fairly new restaurant. Last I ate here, they weren't able to be found on google maps either, but it seems like that's been updated with around 20 Google reviews. This new restaurant is one of the very few thai restaurants in crozet, so check them out if you're the least bit curious

Coconut Thai Kitchen has some of the best Thai food in the county, let alone the state. And here's why: Food: A Every dish comes out not only aesthetically pleasing, but also in a timely and fairly expedient manner. We ordered the pork belly, gyoza, pad see yew and drunken noodles. The pad see yew and gyoza were my favorite dishes, hands down. The spice was on point and the noodles cooked a little al dente, which was amazing. Cannot recommend the gyoza enough. Price: B The price per dish is a little more than the average dish, especially other Thai dishes (~$1-3 more depending on the entree and side dish). But given the quality and quantity per dish, the price was still solid. Staff: A Staff was cordial and friendly and they best part was we didn't realize they closed at 230pm, but they let us come in 10 minutes before closing and just closed the restaurant while we took our time to eat. They didn't hurry us or pressure us. It was just an overall great experience and they made it worth it. Parking: B+ Coconut Thai Kitchen does share the parking lot with several other shops and restaurants, however they have four, double-sided rows of spots wide enough for large trucks. Overall: A We are so excited to come back here in the future and cannot recommend enough!

This place is popular and there will be a wait, so plan accordingly. It's not terribly large but has a friendly family vibe. They turn the tables as fast as possible, but the wait is worth it. Next the food. We ordered a special combo which gave us the cheese bread (Fat & Sassy), any large salad on the menu, and any pizza for $50. It was about a $6 savings. It was more than enough for two. We took home most of the bread and the pizza. The Delmarva Shrimp Cobb was fantastic, especially with the lemon vinaigrette. The Little Mermaid Pizza was truly unique. Shrimp, roasted tomatoes, pesto, cheddar, Feta, and Mozz on their delicious thin crust. It was definitely a fork and knife pizza. As we watched around us, everything that came out of the kitchen looked great. Wings, mozzarella sticks, soups, Chinese inspired bowls. It's a varied menu and every plate around us was cleans or boxed to take home. Bonus. All the servers have been with the company for 10 years or more which says a lot about this organization and its management/ownership. Definitely plan a trip.

We weren't sure what this restaurant would be like, since we drove through a dark and narrow road to get there. Much to our surprise, this was a full sit-down experience, and we had to wait 30-40 minutes to be seated. We decided to share the TRIPLE THREAT COMBO! (49.99) which comes with cheesy garlic bread (their signature!), one large salad, and one large specialty pizza. This was a lot of food, and we had enough leftovers to feed another mouth and half. THE FAT AND SASSY Their menu claims that this is the "best garlic cheese bread ever". And indeed it was because I wolfed down seven pieces of that bread within 15 minutes. I love that this was practically a pizza -- round pizza dough topped generously with cheddar and whole cloves of roasted garlic. The cheesy grease and pungent aromatic flavors exploded in my mouth. After seven pieces, I knew I had to stop because there was other food to come. CAESAR SALAD This was a typical Caesar salad with above average Caesar dressing, but there was just way too much of it mixed in. Besides that, pretty solid! I would ask for the dressing on the side in the future. THE HEAVY HAND This is Dr Ho's version of the Meat Lovers pizza, which was topped generously with sopressata, capicola, Italian sausage, and other ingredients like shaved onions, mushroom, and variety of cheeses. We got this one because we wanted more protein, but unfortunately, with the amount of cured meat that was slathered on, it was overbearingly salty. After my first slice of pizza, I started taking meat off my slice because it was too much. Overall, 3.5/5, but bumping to a 4/5 because we were pretty sure we would have had a better experience if we chose a different pizza. Still, I'm happy we got to try a restaurant in the Charlottesville area that is popular and well-loved by locals. Also, fantastic pricing with honestly the best cheesy garlic bread I've ever had. I would recommend getting here ASAP especially during the weekends because they don't take reservations or call ahead orders for dine in.

Service: kind staff but slow service. Seating was full, so likely some of the wait was due to that. Ambiance: loud to the point it was hard to hear the people sitting at our own table. Table across from us was full of children with no adult supervision, and the younger kids were rambunctious, and the older kids wound up screaming at them. Same kids were yelling outside the bathrooms and wandering in and out of the back repeatedly. Just too loud for me and my group.

The lodge itself is cozy and rustic with a touch of elegance. The actual dining area feels intimate with gorgeous mountain views appearing both inside and with outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is highly recommended--though it was raining during our visit and mostly wet, with some covered tables and seating. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was warm and attentive, and Sidney, who served us, was especially accommodating and friendly. Everyone that was working seemed to be focused on service. As for the food--it was fantastic. My go-to at new Thai restaurants is always Pad Thai since it can be quite comparable and at times, quite distinguishable from restaurant to restaurant. Pad Thai here was more moist than other restaurants I've tried where the dish can be dry at times. Flavor of the pad thai was subtle but still very present. It was quite interesting to see the height of the entree due to the amount of beansprouts and carrots placed on top.
