Run by an older Korean couple, their menu of classic favorites will have you debating between what to order. I went with one of their customer favorites: spicy chicken and it was delicious! This is a find. The food is delicious and the quality of ingredients is fresh and tasty. Ingredients matter for any cuisine. We had 7 of us from age 5 to 70 and all enjoyed their dinner. A solid Korean gem located where you don't expect to find authentic Korean food. It won't beat a bigger restaurant with more options - but it does its small compact menu extremely well! It was my first time having cup bop which had a little bit of everything (japchae (Korean stir fry noodles), rice, veges, a fried mandu (Korean dumpling), and tasty meat) which made this a perfect pre-hike meal for us. I see why #4, the Spicy pork cup bop, is the best seller. Meat is cooked just right, and I don't have to choose between rice or noodles - get the best of both! Loved that the bulgogi sandwich was served on a potato roll, as opposed to a sub as pictured. And just like the spicy pork in the bop, bulgogi was cooked & marinated well. The shop is small but well decorated with beautiful drawings, including items featured on the menu! This is a definite visit if you like authentic Korean food! I got the kimchi bulgolgi bowl (bibimbap) and it was very yummy - could probably go for something spicier. We also tried the nachos and they were different but very yummy. The owners are SO kind. They brought out a heater along with blankets as we enjoyed our meal. Small establishment. Hidden from the road. Just east of the entrance to Massanutten resort. Portions were generous and quite tasty. I had never had Vietnamese food before. The noodles were a divergence from other Asian faire that I have had. Not as savory as Chinese food but still good. A few outdoor tables is only onsite dining available. This place is mostly for take out but does have outdoor seating. Don't fear though, they have dining bubbles! Stopped by on the way to my parents. I'll be honest, I had seen the reviews on Yelp, but I didn't know exactly where it was located. It is in the shops across the street and just east from the Massanutten entrance. The same shops that have a hamburger spot and brewery. The bulgolgi bowl was VERY good. Even taking it to-go it was still perfect when we got home. I got the spicy pork bowl and glad I did. It was flavorful, but didn't consider it spicy. I'm not sure what the regular pork bowl would take. The bowl had a little bit of everything. All of the ingredients are locally sourced and prepared in house. It now falls into my top option when in the area visiting family. Vacationing at Massanutten? This is the perfect place for something a little different. read more

This spot was definitely not around when I was visiting Massanutten last time. I didn't expect to find Korean -- especially some rated this highly, in the area, but wow was I blown away. The owner was super friendly and told me what was popular. Korean BBQ nachos, WHAT?!?! I almost got those, but decided to go the healthier route and get the bowl. I loved how the bowl had a fried mandu dumpling in it. I decided to sit outside, and the owner checked on me quite often and I was pleased to inform him how much I enjoyed everything! Every ingredient in the bowl was done well, from the pork to the dumpling, which intrigued me because it had cheese in it. I've never had mandu with cheese inside! Oh, and the spice level was on point -- he specifically told me that the bulgogi has no spice to it, and if I like spice to go with the pork. I am so glad I did! What a hidden gem! I didn't expect to find awesome Korean food in a small mountain town, so this was a much appreciated meal after a day in Massanutten. The location is very convenient and also super cute, located next to a number of other food establishments (more on that in other reviews). I ordered the most popular dish, the #4 spicy pork cup bop, which as the owner explained, is basically everything they make in one bowl dish on rice. I was in the area and SO hungry. I was intrigued that there was a Korean place out here in the sticks so I had to swing by and check it out. It is a tiny place withing a cluster of businesses next to the brew haha. I wanted something I could try right away (it was freezing so I drove 30 mins home before eating my entree.) I got the vegetable Mandy and ate 2 in my car. First thought was "wow this is a flavor EXPLOSION and I love it." I would totally order again. On second thought, I'd ask for no melted cheese on top. I'm not sure it was necessary with the sauce on top and flavors inside. I love a good bulgogi sandwich, as I grew up near "koreatown" in falls church that made the best. $4 bulgogi subs. I will say I'm glad I got the beef bulgogi pot as well, because the sub was underwhelming. It wasn't bad, per se, just not what I expect when I order a Korean bulgogi sub. It should have been served on an actual sub roll, not sweet, potato buns. I was also hoping for delecate shredded carrots, shredded Lettuce, and shredded cucumbers versus the garden salad mix. Also, American cheese? Just didn't work together with the awesome bulgogi pork. The pot I got was awesome; Absolutely blew me away, flavor-wise. Again, the garden salad mix was unexpected, but I loved the noodles, corn, and onions. The meat was outstanding and there was a good amount of it. I was a little bummed with the high price but I understand it since it's a true delicacy to get Korean food out here in the valley. I would 100% go back and be more specific with my order.
