I wish I had a better picture, but honestly I dove straight into this without giving myself an opportunity for a decent photo. I love this place. Not only is the coconut jelly refreshing and flavorful without being overly sweet, but it is always clean and relaxing inside. The woman working was very friendly. I always look forward to stopping by here after a visit to Mekong Plaza.
Super impressed with the dessert that I tried. Place came recommended by my aunt and glad I tried it. Grabbed a few different ones to try and very smooth, creamy and great flavor. I highly recommended them!
I got the mango coconut jelly. It's super cute inside, very clean. Service was polite, as to be expected, nothing exceptional, nothing terrible. The jelly was soft, mildly sweet and the mangos were fresh and bright. It's not like you're slapped in the face with coconut flavor, so don't avoid this place just bc you might not love coconut. It's like a milk pudding. Delish. They also have dairy free versions which looked legit but I'll have to try them next time I'm here. It also comes in reusable jars with cute bear spoons. Adorable. It's not close to my side of town, but I'd stop in next time I'm here.

It is a light yet delicious dessert. I will say the customer service was not the best. My friends and I went in with a few questions about the dessert, the flavor, etc and the employee did not seem to want to indulge in our conversation.
Stop by here during my visit to Arizona--love the modern yet inviting atmosphere, plenty of seatings. Ordered their Double Coconut Jelly and Avocado Coconut Jelly. Absolutely love the soft butteriness of the coconut jelly. The Avocado flavor was delicious, however, I noticed it did cause the coconut jelly to be outshined so love the different flavors but would stick with the traditional coconut flavor if that is what you're looking for. It truly satisfies the coconut craving. I also ordered the Durian Crepe Cake. If you love durian, that is an absolute must! I love that there were fresh durian pieces in there throughout the cake and it was so light. The staff member was so friendly and with the amount that we purchased, we were able to get a complimentary traditional cup. The packaging here is so well thought out. The coconut jelly is in sealed glass jars and the durian cake is individually wrapped with a portable plastic fork included.
Wow....the durian crepe has a lot of fresh pieces of durian. The crepe is so creamy and delicious. The coconut jelly with black sticky rice is so delicious and I wish I got more than one. It is not too sweet and not too heavy nor too creamy.

They have many concoctions but I chose from 3 dairy free versions. Ultimately giving the lychee a try . Not too sweet at all and comes in the most adorable jars . The decor screams take a photo ! This kind of dessert is my absolute favorite, hands down! The first time I had this kind of silky coconut jelly was at MeloMelo in California. Ever since then, I always try to find places that are similar. This place is identical! I tried their jasmine green tea coconut jelly - VERY SOFT AND WET! Almost drinkable lol Great flavor. I love me some fresh fruit so I got the fresh mango one, not the puree. The fresh mango was nice and sweet. I'll DEFINITELY come back whenever I'm in town, probably will stop by once more before I leave haha Heads up, they only take back clean jars. Service was quick. Their spoon is SOOOO cute. Pro-tip: if you don't see a flavor in the display, ask them and they might just have it in the back. If you bring back 10 empty jars, you get one for free. Highlights: I found the coconut jelly dessert to be very light and refreshing. They have a lot of flavors that I would love to try in the future. The ambience is also really nice and calm. It's kind of cool how it comes in a mason jar that you can take home and repurpose or collect to bring back. The spoons are very cute. Lowlights: I didn't think the customer service wasn't that friendly - I read other reviews about samples being offered, but they were pretty standoffish so we didn't ask. It's a little expensive for how small the dessert is especially if you don't really care about keeping the mason jar. read more

My family is nuts for Coconut Jelly King! I've visited twice and sampled the following treats: Single serving of coconut jelly Durian crepe cake Durian coconut jelly x2 Matcha coconut jelly As you can see, we are huge fans of durian! Luckily, Coconut Jelly King never disappoints. They use fresh durian into their desserts, and in my opinion, there is no strong odor, but maybe I'm immune to it. The durian coconut jelly is our absolute favorite. It's the sweetest among the jellies we've tasted, but still not too sweet. The coconut jelly (single) and matcha coconut jelly are light with subtle flavors, and we appreciate their soft texture. The durian crepe cake is also outstanding. The staff is friendly and helpful. The space is clean and decor is elegant. Though a bit pricey, the jellies are fresh and delicious and we'll continue to purchase them! read more

I have been wanting to try this place after all the amazing promotions on instagram. This place is located next to Mekong plaza and very easy to locate. The place is very nicely designed and has good colors and ambiance to hangout. The menu is simple with different kinds of coconut jellies, like mango, lemon, berries and more. They have a sample of the plain jelly to try. I went with mango coconut jelly and it came in a cute glass container which is reusable. I felt it's a little overpriced at $8. The spoons they give are really cute too! The mango coconut jelly looked delicious, it's more like mango topping with coconut jelly. Coconut jelly is fresh and is made from fresh coconut milk, it's not too sweet and tasted perfect. I could eat the whole container. I liked it a lot but felt there was something missing and wasn't 100% satisfying. The service is good and the lady was very sweet too. read more
OMGGGGGGG SO SO GOOD! My new obsession! It hit the spot It was the thing in my life I didn't know I needed. I ate the entire thing in one sitting and am feeling so satisfied. It was just the right amount of tart (from the mango) and sweetness (from the coconut jelly). It was $8 for one but I feel like it was worth it, especially with the reusable jar and the cutest spoon (which I saved for my kids bc the quality is pretty good). read more
Very cute and nicely decorated cafe! Indoor seating available for gathering for dessert after dinner. There were so many options, but we decided to get the taro and durian flavors! The taro was super good!! I would recommend this one! The durian was fresh and for durian lovers they will love it. The smell is not as strong. They didn't have this on the menu, but the staff was saying they had some in the back. Ask for samples of the coconut jelly. Pricing is reasonable especially they give the coconut jelly in a mason jar. Very friendly staff! I will want to visit again to try out other flavors. I liked both a lot. It was also my first time trying durian and I really enjoyed it! The durian was fresh and had a nice layer on the jelly. I'm new to coconut jelly desserts and quickly fell in love with them! They're light, refreshing, and slightly sweet. I especially enjoy the taro coconut jelly, which has taro paste mixed in, and the jasmine green tea coconut jelly, which is topped with a layer of tea jelly. The shop is always bright, modern, and clean, and they provide spoons and napkins if you choose to eat in. Don't forget to ask for a punch card! I deducted one star because they don't recycle or reuse the glass jars, and I don't have a use for them at home :( read more

I finally got to stop by and see what this place was alllll about! We stopped by at 8pm on a weeknight and we were the only two customers there. The employee quickly let us know to order when ready and gave us time to look over the menu. We ordered: One egg bubble waffle One mango pomelo sago One coconut milk mango sago. Total was about $30 including a tip. We sat down and all the tables seemed to be dirty. The table we sat at had crumbs and was very sticky. The décor inside is beautiful and the colors all go well together. The lighting was also another thing that caught our attention and the light fixtures are gorgeous. As soon as we sat down, people started trickling in and it got be very loud and busy. A few people had to go orders and some stayed to dine in. Our order was finally ready - about 15 minutes later and the employee called it out. It was very hard to hear her since she was very soft spoken or maybe she was just shy. The treats were delicious. I definitely recommend the egg bubble waffle and the mango pomelo sago. Those two were really good and very different then anything I have ever had. The mango coconut milk drink wasn't really our favorite as it was a little bitter and not sweet.. Overall can't wait to be back. It was very cute inside and we enjoyed what we had to eat. read more
I've been seeing alot of talk about this place amongst Asian FB groups, so I thought I'd stop by. Walking in it was very cute and welcoming and charming. We chose the taro coconut jelly. When it came time to pay I was surprised it was about $12. But then I realized it was in a glass jar and came with cute teddy bear looking spoons that were far too small for my big appetite lol. All in all this place was pretty good, but a bit pricey. It was smooth and full of flavor and enjoyed the texture very much. read more
Watch out boba tea, here comes coconut jelly!! Well, maybe more like coconut jelly pudding!! From what I can gather from the few desserts that I've tried, I love that they don't pour on a ridiculous amount of sugar with any of their dessert offerings! The mango pomelo sago was the sweetest out of all the desserts I tried, but its sweetness level doesn't even compare to many other desserts found on the market. Service was timely & friendly. Shop is small, but cute with very comfy chairs! Overall, the desserts and drinks were very light, tasty, and refreshing!! I just wished my coconut jelly didn't come with the high upcharge of their cute spoons and glass jars! I guess I could up my hoarding game and repurpose all the jars that I'll be collecting for pickles or getting drunk on one too many cocktail jar glasses!! read more
Arizona just got its first coconut jelly spot. California has a ton of these dessert places and I was so excited to finally get to try them! You can find Coconut Jelly King located at Mekong Plaza in Mesa. The coconut jelly is silky smooth, rich, and refreshing. I recommend getting the matcha coconut. It's subtle on matcha, not overly sweet, and topped with red beans. If matcha isn't your thing, there are tons of other flavors that you can try so there's some thing for everyone. You can also get bubble waffle, mango pancakes, durian crêpe cake and Boba milk teas here, too. Coconut Jelly King is a great dessert option to enjoy! read more
Pretty good coconut jelly, 3.5 stars for me. I tried the red bean coconut jelly. What I liked: texture and flavor of coconut jelly itself - for this I would return and try other flavors/probably get non flavored jelly. Kind service happy to answer any question we had. Sustainable packaging - can reuse jars. What I didn't like: while the packing is nice, it's quite expensive - about $10 after tax. Coconut jelly has simple ingredients so it felt a bit pricey. In addition, the red bean paste at the bottom had a bit of a sour taste which I didn't like. Not sure if that was intentional or not. I also like to taste a bit of bean texture and this was a super smooth paste, just personal preference though. read more

I think this is a great spot for people who like desserts that aren't super sweet. Walking in, the place is super clean and modern. Came here with a friend and she got the durian coconut jelly and I got the mango coconut jelly. I wasn't sure what to expect taste or texture-wise, but was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a firmer jelly, but the coconut jelly had an almost custard-like texture. Very silky and a lightly sweet and coconut flavor. The mango was ripe, but I wish they did layers of fruit and jelly instead of just a couple piece of fruit on top. This can be considered a pricier dessert spot, but I think that's because you essentially pay for the glass jar that the jelly comes in. The jar is cute and so are the little periwinkle bear spoons! Overall a cute place to grab a quick dessert! read more

Love all the bright chandeliers inside, super bright, and perfect for those selfies or Yelp good pictures! I ordered the peach gum coconut jelly and it was 9.5/10. I got to try my husband's red bean coconut jelly also a hit. You can't go wrong with any flavor. Initially, I wanted to try the matcha jelly but they were sold out. Get here early because some of the popular jelly's were gone. Luckily, I'll be coming back to try other flavors when I'm the area. Note-the desserts range from 7.99 to 13.99, might be a downside but I did like the cute glass containers. Good seating areas. Staff were super helpful in suggestions and friendly.
