It was amazing. I've been to a cocohodo in the Bay Area several times, so I knew roughly what to expect. This location was better on almost all counts. The mojitos are just as good, I highly recommend them. The pastries are also the same great experience. The sea salt latte was unfortunately not worth getting, but the cookies, ice cream, shaved ice, waffles, and crepes were all amazing. Especially the ice cream. Nice little place. My first time and it looked very nice inside. Good decorations and clean. I tried the Mango Sorbet and I could tell they used real mangos instead of some flavoring like other places do. It was cool to see the Nitrogen cloud form as they made ice cream behind the counter. But more than that, I was amazed by their ice cream that they make with liquid nitrogen. The texture of the ice cream is a bit crunchy on the outside and smooth inside. However, I do not recommend getting the berry shaved ice. It's pretty but does not have much flavor. The owner admitted it's a bit plain and said that he recommends coffee or green tea shaved ice, which I am willing to try next! I also tried affogato. As a customer who has been coming here for four years, I laugh at all of the negative comments because they are not true. Sorry. 1) if you are impatient, rude, disrespectful, and do not understand that there are other people around you who are patiently waiting for their orders because you believe the world surrounds you, then this place isn't for you. These workers especially the owner go above and beyond for their customers. They are extremely hard working, welcome every single person with open arms and personable smiles, and make you feel very comfortable during your time at cocohodo. Even after a year of being away at school, they still remembered my order and my friends/family's orders. 2) if you believe their NITROGEN ice cream and HIGH QUALITY coffee are too expensive then this place is not for you and you should just go to Starbucks (ew) and a cheap grocery store to buy terrible ice cream. The Nitrogen tanks are really expensive so their ice cream prices might be a little higher but it's so worth it! Same with the coffee! They clean their machines daily and ensure their customers get the best care. 3) this place is great for those who are studying, need to interview others, have meetings, and hangout with friends/family. 4) BONUS: their food is amazing and made fresh every time. read more

Love this place! Great coffee and a full line of desserts ranging from smoothies, ice cream, shaved ice and of course, cocohodo. If you don't know what cocohodo is, it's a Korean pastry about the size of a ping-pong ball. It's served warm, with a walnut filling and it super delicious! They even have free samples, so you can try before you buy. The only drawback is that this place is located in Katy, but when I find myself in Katy, I'll make sure to drop by. read more

I've been only visited 5 times for a cup of coffee with hodo pastries. Nice place to chill with friends. Pretty friendly staffs and owner. Only thing that I didn't like was No Refills on Coffee, but I guess it's okay. Free refill on Coffee could give them 5 stars.
