Place is a little expensive, but I think worth it. Their use shaved ice was creamy and delicious. I also loved that their lychee shaved ice was smaller and not overly sweet. I loved the soft fluffy texture. I feel like their strawberry mango freeze had a odor/aftertaste to it, similar to durian and it really made the drink unpleasant for me, but my friend liked it just fine. However. I think their little ice mold rabbit was cute. Service was polite and they didn't mind us staying and chatting even though it was closing time.

Great place to cool off from the Houston heat. They have smoothies, teas, and shaved ice. The matcha strawberry latte I got was okay, pretty sweet and the matcha quality was average.

Staff was very welcoming. Cute decoration inside. Loved that there was a billiards and foosball table. Very satisfying beating the SO 10-0 at foosball :) Ordered coffee for takeout: ube and pandan latte The ube cream had a slightly salty taste at first but overall ok. Pandan cream was delicious. The coffee was very strong so it does overpower the cream. There's a collaboration with Katy Sugar House, so many cookies to choose from. Vanilla biscoff was the best one imo. Cookies n cream was alright. May come back to try other drinks and cookies!

Was angry that I ripped the receipt. Proof of overly expensive of 1 haves ice. At the end, paid over $19!!

You have 1 chance, 1 CHANCE for each new customer to come in to try your business! Failed miserably! I failed miserably to NOT read the reviews first. 1. This place doesn't communicate about credit card charge (until we ask!), and expect customers to read everything where the cashier is while waiting (IF there is a line). Who the heck puts a ton of things in the front of the cashier and expect to read everything while taking time?! Misleading pricing on the size sample that should read "cash price $##.##". The size sample reads "$14.##". It is more than $14 after credit card charges. 2. Don't lie about "real strawberries" in the snow ice; there aren't strawberry slices when customers are paying only 1 size available at $16.53 (excluding tip, including credit card fees)! CUSTOMERS WILL NOT GET FRESH STRAWBERRIES IN this month or even I bet the whole 2025! No strawberry slices, not at all even when images are shown! Pay more to get a disgusting dessert, with a full of disappointment for more money spent. I learned my lesson. Don't even bother for the punch card rewards. 3. You will get ripped off I guaranteed it!!! I wanted to support local businesses, but this place needs to reassess their suppliers' cost in order to PREVENT cutting cost and over charging customers nickel and dime bullsh*t !!! 4. Run by Vietnamese family or just had too much employees there with Zero customers or too much time on the side. Someone AT least tell me something about the food and extra charge beforehand?? 5. Overly sweet toppings (2 included), overly sweet, artificial strawberry sweetener. Save your money and time and go to the Korean spot near HMart. That's my go to spot for Asian style, shaved ice. Yes, I know Vietnamese style desserts and drinks are usually artificial and overly sweet. Remember, I was trying to support local businesses even when I saw no customers. Extremely disappointed. Had a few bites and threw it away. 5. On a beautiful sunny afternoon, and ZERO customers (don't count me as a customer because I'm never coming back). This business needs to save themselves the monthly anxiety rent... 6. I don't like businesses ripping off the general public.

My iced coffee bear!

What can I say about Snowcano? I love this place! On my recent visit to Houston, I ended up coming here after a few friends raved about this place about their drinks. Yes, I'm an OG at the San Gabriel Valley in California, so I pretty much know my boba tea drinks and crafted coffees quite well... No being snob. Lol. I ended up coming here a few times during my stay. It was convenient. I agree that their iced Pandan Coffee and their Vietnamese Coffee were to the point! It was very tasty with a bold coffee flavor, and I was able to adjust my sugar level as well. The presentation was definitely there, as they served the drinks with a flavored iced bear. I thought it was cute... yes, I'm a guy saying that. So, I'm almost certain all the gals would fall in love with the bear! Lol. I also had their Lychee Iced Tea. It was delicious! It was very tasty indeed, as the Lychee flavor was bold as well. I was also able to adjust the sugar level to help me enjoy the tea. I also ordered one of their Beef Banh Mi Sandwiches. Oh my goodness, a very liberal amount of beef was stuffed in the sandwich. The beef is flavorful as it was marinated and grilled. Huge toasted bun and pickled vegetables were also added inside. Very good. The manager of Snowcano is very nice. We talked a bit about what's there to do around the area. She was also very knowledgeable in mixing their drinks. Overall, it was great company. The business is casual and very clean. Nicely decorated as they have a pool table inside, too. What a pleasant surprise, as I found a gem in Katy, Texas! I will definitely be going back whenever I'm in the area again. Two thumbs up!

Iced Pandan Coffee Latte

I came on a Sunday at opening 11 am for the first time and went with a friend who visited once before. The owner greeted us right away and was super friendly. She didn't rush us at all and helped make snack suggestions since my friend was doing a vegan fasting at the time. We ordered the iced pandan latte, strawberry matcha latte with soy milk, fried tofu, beef banh mi, veggie banh mi with tofu & no mayo, side of sweet potato fries for $2 extra, veggie eggrolls (3 pcs), and fried shrimp which was a new item (not on the menu yet). We ordered the shrimp and tofu medium spice level. All the food was very good but my fav was the tofu and shrimp! Then coffee drinks come with an iced bear to help prevent the drink from diluting too quickly! Efficient idea and very cute! My friend finished her drink within the hour we were there! For the pandan latte, I did 50% less sweet, but it was still pretty sweet to me so I would definitely ask for 75% less sweet next time. I still enjoyed the delicious pandan flavor! The aesthetic was casual and cute! A lot of picture worthy spots. There were board games, a foosball table & a mini claw machine. The staff were so friendly! The parking lot is spacious and within the Katy Asian Town so a lot of fun things to explore too. Great customer service and drink/food options so I highly recommend!

Popcorn Chicken Combo

Came looking for a snack and ordered the popcorn chicken basket. I tried both the house flavor and lemon pepper flavors of popcorn chicken and I really enjoyed both of them! They were crispy and flavorful. I also really appreciate how crispy the fries were as well because I feel like a good crispy fry can be hard to come by at other similar places. Very sweet and welcoming people behind the counter. Lots of space to sit and they even have a foosball and a pool table for entertainment

Strawberry mango freeze with Crystal boba, $7-8

The service here is a amazing! We've been by a couple of times now and it's always been great. It's set apart from some of the other restaurants and stores of Katy Asia Town and, this, has a lot of space to park and move around. I'm sure this place would have a lot more business if people knew about it. They have shaved ice, ice cream, drinks (frozen drinks, teas, coffees) and lots of snacks. The Vietnamese egg rolls were phenomenal! I really enjoyed the banh mi, too. The banh mi was cooked to perfection - crispy outside and soft inside. The Vietnamese mayo was on point! I've had the salted caramel latte, the strawberry mango freeze and the pandan coffee. I love that the drinks all came with a cute ice figure with frozen drinks inside. The coffee has a frozen espresso bear and a strawberry drink had a frozen little bunny. The coffees were super smooth and creamy and looked super cute! We ordered a strawberry shaved ice and a mango shaved Ice. Each came with two toppings each.We spent about $28-30 on the two shaved ice desserts and about $15 for the two coffees on our latest visit

Pandan coffee (left) and ube (right)

Snowcano is an Asian drink and food cafe located in Katy. They have a large selection of drinks and food. The inside is big and spacious with a mini pool table and a foosball table perfect for hanging with a big group of friends. I ordered the pandan latte, ube latte, salted caramel latte, and an eggroll. All the lattes come with a cute little bear-shaped coffee ice cube on top and a flavor foam on top, as well. The pandan latte has a green pandan foam on top of the latte and is one of my favorites! The ube latte is similar but with an ube foam on top and is another one of my favorites. The salted caramel has a white foam on top with caramel syrup. The eggroll also came out hot and had chunks of taro in it, which I really enjoyed. Overall, Snowcano is a great place to meet and hang with friends with its large space and game tables and to grab a coffee or drink!

Got the pork Bahn mi to split with my mom. She and I both loved it. I look forward to going back to try more of their food options! The place is clean, bright, has a very chic but chill welcoming ambiance. I like how they have a pool table which is different from other tea/snack shops in katy Asian town. The owner is super sweet and prepared my order to go very quickly.

Ube shaved ice with mango popping bubble and lychee jelly

Snowcano is a spacious place with a bit of an echo that encourages people to linger (and does a good job at occupying young kids while waiting for your order) with foosball and a pool table. It's one of the few non-chain businesses in Katy Chinatown so it's always nice to support a small business. They're a little out of the way of most of the hustle and bustle but the lady was super nice and answered our questions. They also serve savory snacks but we're vegetarian so opted for drinks and shaved ice as a snack. And we ate before heading over there (one of our kids finally fell asleep in the car). Ube shaved ice - their shaved ice uses blocks of flavored ice (with real ube) and is "shaved" into a snowlike substance. Don't expect to crunch! There's a list of toppings and you choose 2 to put on your shaved ice. This was great and my daughter loved it. My son (with multiple food allergies) thought it was weird but he's still young. It is about $12 but large enough for 2 to share. It isn't very loaded but I imagine you're mostly paying for the special "ice" they use. Hibiscus Rose - this was delicious. I'm the first to admit I prefer milky drinks but we ate not too long before so I wanted something light. I opted for less ice but didn't adjust anything else and I found this not too sweet and perfectly refreshing. I'd definitely get this again! A pretty good first visit! I hope they do well and can see us dropping by again when we're in the area.

Pork bahn mi and lychee pea tea

I'm SO hooked on this spot. I found it on a whim discovering a new area for me about 25 mins away from my home. Had the pork bahn mi and LOVED the flavor. Then I couldn't find where it was when I tried to come back. It such a circle and a difficult area for me to navigate but about 2 months later I remembered I took a pic of my food and got the name and found it again!! The drinks are all so amazing. I wish they would add egg coffee but I may be the only one that knows about it and loves it, lol! But I get like two or 3 drinks every time I come because the ingredients are all so yummy and well put together. I've tried other bahn mi places when I couldn't find this place for two months and they just were not doing it for me as far as flavors. I've saved this place to my favorites and I'll drive out here to eat, drink and chat it up with who I think is the owner a few times a week!

I've been eyeing this place for awhile & it's pretty new too! They have a good selection of different types of coffees but I specifically wanted to try either their ube or pandan one! I opted for their ube today but will def be back for the pandan. I loved the coffee taste it had. It was very rich and didn't taste watered down or anything. I also love the subtle taste of ube as well! It also came with a cute sugar bear! (It's either sugar or a coffee ice cube, not too sure). But it was strong I tell you that. My boyfriend got one of their fruit teas & it was also very good. I like how the tea tasted and how it was brewed. Very refreshing! They also have food items on the menu too. Like banh mi and common boba tea shops like fries! We will try those the next time we stop by. Desserts like shaved snow are available here too. So exciting. They also collaborate with a baking business around the area and we got the strawberry cookie & the Nutella cookie. I loved the taste of them both! Super soft, moist, and doughy. Service was also very good. She was very sweet and patient! I always feel like good service is always a major plus for us. There is also a lot of indoor seating and a pool table! Which was my first time seeing one in a boba shop. Establishment was also very clean and trendy/modern. There are also other board games that customers can play while they're dining in. I also think this would be a great study spot or just a hang out spot as well. There is also of plaza parking in the area as well.

This is a great place to come study or do work on your computer. Some tables have outlets too. The service was good. No complaints. I came here because I heard their matcha is good. Each matcha is $8.5. They claim to use ceremonial grade matcha but under the matcha latte list, there is only one drink labeled CG (ceremonial grade) while others do not. The CG is the basic and they use agave for sweetening. They also don't hand mix per cup. It is pre-batched. I'm not a pre-batch hater although I do prefer each cup to be hand mixed, so I will give it a chance if it tastes good. The CG latte was surprisingly smooth and pretty good! Not bitter at all imo, but it was slightly grainy. They used the perfect amount of agave to balance. It wasn't sweet either. Just perfect balanced flavor for a regular CG matcha latte. The other matcha latte I ordered was the banana. It is SO GOOD! A lot grainier than the CG, though. But I would definitely order that again if I come to Katy. It has a cinnamon flavor in it (probably why it felt grainier than CG) and mixed with the banana flavor was just very yummy. Highly recommend!

I hate when I'm at a new place and don't know what I want gives me anxiety...lol So I got the limited horchata milk tea 50% sweet and a small order of karaaga (spelled wrong I'm sure) chicken and when I tell you the chicken came out popping hot! Wow so good! Even at 50% the milk tea was not too sweet so I might could have went up to maybe 75% or they do have the option to use a sugar free substitute. So that's a great option only if it's stevia..lol. I can't stand Splenda just gross.. When I visit Katy I will definitely stop by again and try a few other items. Service was quick and friendly! Their line of beverages have hit the spot in a way where I can laud them for their consistency in both customer service and selection of drinks. Their selection of drinks are broken down in milk tea, fruit tea, latte, "pure" tea, traditional, and cheese. Toppings include aiyu, grass, red bean, tapioca, pearl, and combined boba with sugar level adjustments. The standouts in each section for me are as follows: (pure) jinxuan oolong, kumquat lemon tea (fruit), winter melon lemonade (traditional), yamamasa koyamaen's matcha (latte), and their regular wanpo milk tea. If I'm feeling really indulgent, I'll get a cheese cream oreo but that's a rare occasion. They've done a good job of opening up the interior space and the layout is ideal for groups and solo action. This is likely to accommodate lines (if any) throughout the week. The illuminated tea areas is a nice decorative touch, There are some table + board games and the place is really pretty during the daytime when the natural light kicks in. WiFi is also on point. The staff is young, friendly, and mostly bilingual in Mandarin + English. Prices are the standard $5-7 per drink, and parking is always abundant in this part of KAT. I walked out in shock because, what? Out of all the boba spots that I have been to, never has anyone smelled my drink. In fact, I used to work at a boba shop and never has it occurred to me to smell a drink and not remake it for a customer.
