My sister was raving about this place and she took me here one day for our sibling date. The concept is really cute and the interior is very clean and the open space is definitely a plus. The employees are friendly. You make an order and they give you a number and when your food is ready, they take it out to you. I ordered a few things with my sister and we shared the green tea shaved ice and the caramel macchiato. The green tea shaved ice was a bit too sweet and I didn't like it too much. There were a lot of red bean in it too. It was a huge serving though! My sister and I couldn't even finish the whole thing by ourselves. The caramel macchiato was a nice touch when eaten with the shaved ice. It was good to have something warm and hot to wash down that coldness. The espresso wasn't too bad. I would've given 3 stars, but my sis swears that they have more to offer so for now I'll be giving them 4 stars and I'll do an update later when I come back. read more

My favorite ice cream stop. I love the earl grey ice cream. It tastes so fresh and creamy and is a unique flavor that you can't find many other places. The atmosphere is like a cozier version of Starbucks. The staff is always willing to educate you on the menu and is warm and welcoming. I enjoy two teas that I have tried. Came in to meet a friend for coffee. They serve you super cute cappucino designs and serve promptly. I returned a few days later with the kids and they enjoyed the icecream so I think we will return again. Only downfall is that it can get pretty loud so if you are looking for a quite coffee shop this is not the one. read more

I ended up ordering the Green Tea Nitrogen ice cream while my boyfriend ordered the Chocolate nitrogen ice cream. Okay so when you walk in, the atmosphere is really awesome! There is a wall of teas that you can buy. I go up to the counter and order the plum tea and the Nutella liquid nitrogen ice cream. The staff is really knowledgeable about the menu when I asked them questions. I sit down at the table and they bring me my food. The plum tea was really good, and it was sweet as well as sour. The ice cream was really good and it's hard to describe the texture but it's good. Just trust me. Be sure to stop by here when you want something awesome! read more

Granted this place is no longer new, it took me such a long time before I could write a review. This place is my fav spot to hang out with friends when coming home. SMOOTHest ice cream ever thanks to Nitrogen frozen technology and all that gastronomic good stuff. Ive had the green tea and the peanut butter in the past, and the presentation is something straight out of pinterest. We had a gathering here after my sons baptism about 2 years ago, and just now got around to this review ... This place is super cute, everything was great, and we had it all .. coffee, crepes, ice cream, breakfast etc. There was about 25 of us and they did a great job, there was a confusion on the dates and when we arrived they were understaffed but still managed to pull it off for us. I would definitely recommend this place, would love to go more often but we are no longer in the area. read more

Went here on a drive-by whim and what a nice surprise. The inside of the location has a nice cozy feel to it with plenty of places to set up and and do some work if you need to which it seemed many people were doing while I was there. I ordered the shaved ice which included walnuts and sweet beans which were a little too sweet for my palate, but still quite tasty. I definitely plan to return here the next time I need to satisfy a sweet tooth. read more

Everything about this place is good. The nitrogen ice cream, the teas (hot and cold), the crepes (sweet and regular), coffee, the atmosphere and staff... I could go on but you get the point. The only thing I was actually not a big fan of was their very popular walnut pastries which to me tasted like a dry cake ball with a walnut inside. They have happy hour during the week and a parking lot that is getting fuller every weekend. Skip the big chain for coffee and make your way here! read more

I am so sad to update my review. My family has gone to Cocohodo at least twice a week since we moved here, and we loved it. One night last week my husband walked in at 9:31 when the restaurant closes at 10 pm to order two crepes to go. The owner or manager was *very* rude to my husband and told him he was "crossing a line" placing an order that close to their closing time. My husband asked him if they closed at 10, and the manager confirmed that is their closing time. My husband told him if they close at 10 they should take orders until 10, and he was even more rude in response. My husband got our crepes and left, he was so in shock he proceeded with his order but wishes he'd walked away. He got home at 9:47 so the manager would have had plenty of time to close in time for 10 pm. It's so stupid for him to treat customers this way! Every time we go in there we spend over $30 getting my kids ice cream and getting us crepes. For him to throw that much business away because he wants to go home early is shortsighted and unintelligent. If he wants to close at 9:30, he should close at 9:30. His rudeness is unacceptable, especially when we are really good customers, and we won't be going back. We broke the news to our kids who were sad, but who understood that we don't have to spend money places where people are rude to us. I'd recommend caution if you go near closing time, if you don't want him to ruin your night. read more

As my quest for the perfect study spots continues, I stumbled upon Cocochodo. They definitely score high from a space and comfort perspective. I started off my morning with a honeynut latte which was not too strong for a caffeine lightweight like me and just sweet enough. When I was ready for lunch, I took advantage of their happy hour discount and ordered florentine crepes, Earl grey smoothie, and 4 pc walnut bites. The crepes were filling and tasted great once I put some hot sauce on them. The Earl grey smoothie was a delightful surprise, especially if you're a milk tea fan. The walnut bites were just ok to me, but plenty of ppl seemed to love them, so I'm sure it's just a matter of personal preference. The employees were all very nice, and one even took the time throw some dry ice around to entertain a little kid. It's a comfortable place to sample one of the wide selection of teas (best tea selection of anywhere I know of) or coffee and enjoy a sweet or savory crepe, soup, or other light lunch/dinner fare. Cocohodos are their signature slightly sweet pastry balls. They're also delicious. It's a great place to relax and visit with friends or work on your laptop or play games (my friend and I bring a board game to play when we go). Staff is kind and helpful and the owner is extremely knowledgeable about tea. They also have nitro ice cream, but I haven't tried that yet because I'm obsessed with the crepes! read more
