    Salmon Croissant
    Jaynar S.

We enjoyed the Salmon Croissant, just wished it wasn't smothered with alot of mayo. Other than that, it was delicious. The interior is small and is made only for ordering. Seating is outside in the patio. Just be careful for the pigeons; they are not scared of people and will snatch your food if you're not careful. Friendly service. I recommend.

Initial visit to this eatery in Eaton Square Shopping Center. It is the sister company of Komedokoro M, a bento shop next door. They're known for their Japanese sandos...the egg salad was unavailable. But my second choice, the Pork Tenderloin Katsu Sando was excellent. I chose the demi-glace; there are four sauce options for your sando. It was served on a bed of thinly shredded canbage and toasted shokupan, with the crust. Tenderloin was juicy and tender. Sauce was strong with umami and a nice change up ( baseball vernacular ) from the usual tonkatsu sauce. Also, comes with a side of fries. Decent. Hours are weekdays only; operating from 900a till 200p. Street metered parking is a available on Hobron Lane and other side streets.

We ordered the Repetti pizza and fettuccine with diavolo sauce and meatballs. We also had the Caesar salad and focaccia bread with marinara sauce. Our server was Grace. Grace was so friendly and knowledgeable and professional. In addition to the food, Grace made the dining experience exceptional. We sat outside and even though it was a very hot day, the temperature was very comfortable under the roofed area. The Pinot Grigio was excellent! Our meal was brought out in a timely manner and Grace was an attentive server. The Caesar dressing is perfection! The diavolo sauce was delicious and just-right spicy. We loved the meatballs and the fettuccine was cooked perfectly. The pizza!!!!! Wow. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and the toppings were a delicious combination of flavors. The focaccia with marinara could have been a meal for me. The bread was hot and crispy while also being soft and savory. I couldn't get enough of the marinara. We had a lot of leftovers and ate some for dinner and still have more for tomorrow. Repetti's will be a new place for us to dine and bring friends as often as possible. We were so impressed and could not have wanted any of the experience to be different. Fantastic in every way!

Aroma Italia - Monserrat | Waikiki-Kapahulu-Diamond Head area - Island of Oahu…read more Onolicious! Lately I've been dining on soups like pho and ramen, lamb curry stews, and snacking on real fruit smoothies, and I felt like I needed a change of pace. However, I didn't realize I had this burning desire until I saw the foodie pics here on Yelp. It was then that I seriously wondered how I could inject a little more variety into my foodie repertoire. I saw this restaurant listed on Yelp and immediately thought, Ooh, what about Italian??? :D Myself replied: Mmm, that sounds tantalizing, Jules Y.! :D After perusing the menu to make sure I wasn't gonna miss out on a thing, it only took a few seconds for me to hone in on the two items I ultimately ordered: * 16" Florentine pizza (gigante) * Gnocchi Gorgonzola with added mushrooms I added mushrooms to the gnocchi dish, which was a fantastic decision I would not want to go without on future dines of this dish. The pizza was a thin crust topped with luscious mozzarella, rough-chopped garlic, spinach, and ricotta cheese. The gnocchi contained chicken chunks, potato gnocchi, luscious cream sauce, and the mushrooms I added. The Florentine immediately caught my eye. I'm particular about not eating sausage, pepperoni, and other typical pizza meats, so this cheese-and-spinach combination was exactly what I was looking for. I expected something around a medium-sized pizza, but what arrived was this unexpectedly large pie sitting inside a huge, flat pizza box. It seemed enormous! The crust was thin with a nicely fire-charred edge, while the center was packed with luscious cheesy goodness. Random dollops of ricotta, spinach leaves, and these entirely unexpected little chunks of fresh, soft, juicy garlic created little flavor explosions throughout every bite. It made eating the pizza fun because each slice was a little different. Although I thought I was hungry enough to eat a lion, I naturally stopped after only a couple of slices. That turned out to be a bonus because I had delicious leftovers for lunches and dinners over the next couple of days. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola was a different experience altogether. Tender potato gnocchi were coated in a thick, luscious cream sauce with chunks of chicken scattered throughout. The mushrooms I added were thinly sliced and blended in perfectly with the gnocchi, chicken, and creamy sauce. My only criticism is that the dish was saltier than I would have preferred. I think using about half as much salt would have allowed the flavors of the gnocchi and sauce to shine through even more. Aside from that, every bite was pleasantly chewy, rich, creamy, and satisfying. The sauce was everywhere--and that is definitely a good thing. Yum! These two dishes complemented each other perfectly because they offered completely different flavors and textures. The rich, cheesy Florentine pizza paired wonderfully with the creamy Gnocchi Gorgonzola. If I eat here again, I'll probably order these exact same dishes. If you enjoy Italian food as much as I do, I suspect you'll enjoy Aroma Italia's menu.

LOVED THE CANNIBALE PIZZA !!!…read more I also ordered the linguine with pink sauce and added meatballs and sausage. It was excellent. I think I would probably order it again but with the marinara sauce. The garlic bread with mozzarella cheese was good but I would order the regular garlic bread since it's less rich and would pair better with the entree. I think the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese would be great as an appetizer though. The ingredients on both the pasta and pizza were very generous. If I were to take friends out for Italian food I would bring them here.

The bread with the oil and vinegar was so good i got another loaf. Yum. We decided to get the clams casino for our appetizer. That was winners. It was really delicious. Fresh Manila clams in a broth of butter, white wine, bacon, fresh spinach, mushroom, onions, and tomato. That's from the menu. All I know is that all of that put together was really ono. Otherwise, you can easily park across the street in the Safeway parking lot as there's lots of stalls available. The atmosphere is always so elegant and relaxing with the dim lighting ambiance. I love the high ceilings and the mid-century architecture. From the appetizers to the main entrees, everything was delicious! We had the crostini's with prosciutto, honey, and mascarpone cream. That combination of crunchy, creamy, sweet and salty made this so good! For our entrees, we had the Bolognese and the seasonal Mushroom Duxelles Pizza. Both had their own unique flavors that were savory and flavorful without being overpowering. Of the two, my favorite was the pizza! Along with the flavor, I enjoyed the light crispy texture of the pizza. Lastly, for dessert we had the Chocolate Cassata. They brought the dessert with lit candle and aside from the good company, it made my birthday feel extra special. The service was great and our server was very welcoming, attentive, and kind. Thank you for the wonderful experience and look forward to coming back!

With Onda Pasta, I'm ONDA way to pasta greatness…read more I first learned about Onda Pasta during a Yelp Elite virtual pasta making class a few months back, and gosh, Andrea serves a quality product. The base is with semolina flour, eggs, and flour; simple enough, right? But his pasta has more depth to it, and the fact that it's homemade shows. Some varieties include squid ink pasta, spaghetti, and rigatoni. Find him and his small, humble team at the Aloha Farm Lovers Kaka'ako market on Saturday mornings from 8 am-12 pm, and the Kailua one on Sunday mornings from 8 am-12 pm. They are enthusiastic, and more than happy to recommend pasta varieties based on what kind of pasta you desire to whip up!

Fresh, homemade pasta, and unique, authentic sauces. I think I just died and went to pasta heaven…read more Andrea is a super cool guy, setting up shop every weekend at the Kakaako and Kailua farmers market, selling his homemade pasta dishes. On today's farmers market adventure, my sister, my mom, and I set out for some cool local finds and came across Onda Pasta while looking for lunch. Andrea is super knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. We talked a bunch about pasta and I was surprised to find out that he makes everything himself! I purchased his mafaldine pasta (uncooked) and corn pesto sauce. Upon returning home, I was so excited to try out my purchase. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. Talk about a quick and easy meal! Andrea suggested I bring the pasta water to a boil and let the pasta cook for four minutes and that's exactly what I did. After letting the noodles cool I taste tested the noodles (of course) and they were perfect. Al dente! The perfect amount of chewy and taste. While boiling the noodles, I heated up the pasta sauce. The corn pesto was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. At the farmers market, Andrea suggested we add bits of crispy bacon and cheese to garnish our dish with. I unfortunately had neither bacon nor cheese so I made it my own and garnished it with baby tomatoes and basil from my garden. And let me tell you, he does not skimp on the pasta or sauce. One container of pasta and one container of sauce fed myself, my grandma, and mom comfortably. All in all, if you're looking for a quick, homemade, cook at home pasta meal, Onda Pasta is where it's at!
