This place is seriously so cute. The outside is cute with little firepit tables, the inside is cute with confy chairs and all differenttables, it was very clean, and everyone was really friendly and helpful. I was so excited to try it, especially since they have gluten-free options! I was just disappointed with the sandwich. For almost $20 with the gluten-free bread, I expected a little more. It was pretty small, had hardly any cheese or cherry spread, and the turkey was kind of hard on the ends which just wasn't for me. And it was not evenly placed on the sandwich which is pretty important to me, you cant have stacked turky one bite like 4 slices high then nothing on another bite. I'd still go back though and try some treats or lattes or something from the bar! They are open later on thurs fri sat and that seems like they perfect time to go back and try again.
Such a cool place for coffee and cocktails! The drinks we ordered were so good, and the assortment of foods was perfect for sharing. Great place to hang out with friends, work on the laptop, or bring a date! The cocktail meatballs were my favorite and the pretzel charcuterie board was impressive with 5 different kinds of cheese and meats. We also order some lattes to go on our Halloween decor walk. Service was a 10! Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.
I ordered a latte, and it was good! The coffee shop has a cozy atmosphere, making it a nice spot to stop by and enjoy a coffee. However, the interior feels a little outdated, and the seating is quite limited. I also noticed they didn't have many pastry options to choose from, which was a little disappointing. The service was okay, but overall, the experience was decent. With a few updates to the space, more seating, and a wider selection of pastries, this place could have a lot of potential
Barista Tara is a rockstar!! I visited CoCo & Blu the other day and inquired about latte art. I was told that the amazing artist who'd once made my drink had moved out of state, but that everyone else there could make hearts and flowers. Enter Tara, who said she'd try her best to make something special. She delivered an adorable bear on my drink! She said she might be able to do better, but I loved her effort and enthusiasm. My friend and I headed outside to enjoy our drinks on the patio. Several minutes later, Tara came outside carrying another latte. She had PERFECTED the latte bear and gave it to us for free! She made my entire day. Thank you to Tara for the amazing art and for going above and beyond in your customer service!! I can't wait to go back for my next coffee and hope she's working when I do.
I came right when they opened to grab a latte and a breakfast sandwich. The food took about 5-10 minutes to come out, and my latte was ready first. I tried the Lavender Blu, which was a unique flavor combination--interesting, but I would probably try a different coffee next time. The breakfast sandwich was really good and flavorful, and I was happy with the quality overall. The staff was friendly, and the interior had a really nice aesthetic. It is on the pricier side--I paid $24 for my order--but overall, it was a pleasant experience.
What a cute place in the heart of downtown Arlington Heights. It is just around the corner from one of my favorite restaurants in this area, Salsa 17, and a short walk from the parking garage. You can park for free on the street too if staying under 2 hours. It is a nice place to meet and have a coffee or a bite to eat. I only wish the music wasn't so loud as it was hard to have a conversation at times. I was planning to stay and take a conference call but it was too loud for my call, so I left after my meeting. There were quite a lot of people working on laptops during my visit. The iced latte I had was really good and served with plenty of ice, as I like it. Service was fast and friendly. The decor inside is really cute and the natural light from the windows make for a warm and cheery vibe inside.
Decided to meet a friend in the evening and what a treat . It's a totally different vibe in the evening. It feels fancy and chill music is playing in the background which is wonderful and relaxing . The waitress was sweet and attentive and I really enjoyed the mocktail and the cherries on top . I also ordered the cocktail meatballs which were tasty as well .
I am happy to have a coffee shop that is actually open AFTER dinner aka the time I would look for a sweet drink. Ironically, they have opened a 2nd location that is closer to where I live, but the hours haven't quite worked their way up to being a late night spot yet. One star off for the noise level (usually loud!) and the one time I went in there to get coffee to go and some lady barked at me that they do not do coffee to go despite me ordering my coffee to go 95% of the time due to the lack of seating. The drinks are consistently delicious and they have a rotating specialty menu which always delights. I am quite boring and usually stick to the Oatmeal Cookie Latte because it automatically comes with oat milk which is kind to my digestive system. The people I have been with have tried everything from their sugar cookie lattes to their polar bear lattes to matcha lattes. The chocolate chip cookies are also consistently delicious, especially when they warm them up for you. Macarons are a thumbs up according to my teenage daughter. My grandmother has ordered their cheeseball for the table and that was reminiscent of family parties in the 90s. Their summertime setup is great, too--they have multiple fireplaces outside so the ambience is pretty and the noise is less...enclosed. Parking can be a pain, but I will park in the dentist or jewelry spots (I KNOW they are not open at 10p!) and walk over. I still have yet to try their 2nd location, but I hope it is just as good!
Coffee and dessert awesome ! The servers and friendly and helpful. It's adorable and vintage inside ! Cute different types of tables and chairs . There is seating outside . Street parking available. It is in the town of Arlington Heights. Will visit again
Amazing food, very average coffee. We ordered the signature quiche, a breakfast sandwich, a cappuccino, and an iced coffee. The quiche and sandwich were amazing. However, we did not like the coffees at all, which was very disappointing. The cappuccino was just okay and was barely warm when I got it, and the iced coffee (I forgot the name) was very underwhelming. However, the atmosphere is great and I enjoyed my time here.
First time coming and the shop was super cute. Coffee I ordered was really good and croissant was fluffy and fresh with a good sheen. I will echo the other person's comment about the shop being impossibly full with no where to sit. I got threes after ten am and quite literally had to fight for a table and had multiple people try to aggressively take the second chair to the point I had to lean it and put my jacket on it. Maybe it's time to expand?
The coffee was delicious - bf had the flat white with pistachio milk, which he was surprised (pleasantly!) that they had. My s'mores latte was delicious, too! The service was very friendly, the woman working the cash register recommended their chocolate chip banana bread and it did not disappoint. I gave it 4 stars because it was pretty loud and we didn't stay as long as we intended. There were reviews saying it's a good spot to work but the volume and music was not a work friendly environment for me, personally. I'd still go back again, just not to work or expect a conversation friendly spot due to volume.
I loved the s'mores latte here, it was very good. I also liked that the latte came in a mug for hot drinks. It gets very busy, but it's worth the wait for a table. The ambiance is very cute with lots of spots to chit chat with friends, and it could be a cute coffee date spot too.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the inviting eclectic ambiance, friendly helpful staff, and tasty quiche and sandwiches. Many also enjoy the creative specialty drinks.

Nice service by cashier Margaret, and nice ambiance, but bitter and expensive coffee. You get a choice of Nitro Cold Brew or just Cold Brew which comes in 12oz($4.50) or 16oz ($5.50) and you get a choice to add a milk alternative ($0.90) such as almond milk, oat milk, or pistachio milk. I'm happy I tried pistachio milk, but it doesn't mix well in liquid as you constantly have to stir it, but it's an interesting flavor. I'd recommend a sweeter drink though. read more
Chocolate ganache Fresh whipping cream dollop fresh espresso This was delicious and not over sweet. Whipping cream. I had smoked salmon over a bed of greens with a beautiful vinaigrette. Was a small portion but was perfect. So charming inside with a baby grand if you have an inkling to perform for the customers . read more

Walking down Dunton for my monthly visit to Manhattan Lashes... I passed by something new and cute. It looked like a French Bistro or coffee shop with pretty chandeliers and bright electric blue accents. So I definitely noted to myself, it was a place I was going to check out on my way back... and it was a good call. Stopped in with a pal for a leisurely coffee and some avocado toast, as well as a Madeleine. The place has just opened, and taken the real estate from a clothing boutique hence the fancier ceiling lighting ... the interior has an eclectic boho French provencal artsy vibe and is SO much nicer than the average chain coffee shop... which makes sense, since it's a SBO place, run by a couple who also own a local flower shop. Lots of room to sit and lounge, get some coffee, pastries, light meals (or cocktails) it seems, outclassing the nearby Starbucks by miles. Some of the prices seem inflated to my thrifty hiney, while others seem standard, but it's a nice place to check out in downtown Arli for its serene ambiance and chill, low-key fancy decor, down to the gorgeous plates and tea cups. Adult tea party or cocktails after quiche? Yes please. read more

Trendy cafe in a busy restaurant area. Decor is a collection of French cafe elements with an odd assortment of antique furniture. The food menu is nice and short, and the choice of caffeinated beverages plentiful. We've ordered out and dined multiple times having tried various lattes, salads, a quiche, different sandwiches, and pastries. The turkey and brie is sweet and tangy with a nice crispy crunch from sourdough bread. The BLT is simple yet fresh and delicious. The tuna avocado salad is refreshing and nicely balanced with the vinaigrette. We were hoping for a freshly made quiche; however, warmed one didn't disappoint with being most, soft, and flavorful. The espresso drinks were very well made. The choice of beans makes the difference - fruity and well balanced (even tried decaf). Finally, the pasties are buttery and delicious. A fantastic cafe with a quirky decor - a favorite read more

Another great visit to CoCo and Blu. I had to try their peep latte. I am not a huge fan of peeps, but I thought this was such a unique drink I had to try it . The latte has lavender & marshmallow syrup, a undeniably wonderful combination. We stopped in on a Saturday evening and the place was pretty busy, but we were fortunate to grab a table and enjoy our delicious treat. read more
i don't usually like coming to these breakfast places on a saturday morning given the usual wait times but was pleasantly surprised at how quick our food came out! my initial impression was what a cute place this was! with couches, artwork, and a grand piano for a place that doesn't seem that big.. somehow it all worked. i did notice as i got closer to the furniture a lots of stains on couches and the tables were a little sticky which turned me off a little but my little one enjoyed sitting on the couches instead of the usual chairs and tables (which they also have). you order food at the counter (full menu is at the cash register which seems a little inconvenient but they also had some of the popular/new items written in chalkboard) and grab a number and seat yourself! we ordered the matcha tea latte with oat milk which was delicious ( but expensive!!) and the crustless quiche which i thought was so so good! the quiche came with a side of fresh blueberries and bananas which was a plus! i do think this place could do more somehow.. maybe a bit cleaner would be nice but will definitely give more of the food items a try again! read more
Experience: Coco & Blu has pretty decent venue with plenty of seating. Very well decorated. Staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Parking: Free two hour parking in front of the business! Huge plus on my end! Worth: Yes, it is surely worth the visit. Food was good. We had the signature quiche, grilled cheese, a couple of holiday drinks (as pictured below). No complaints whatsoever. I want to say my favorite thing would have to be the quiche and this fire playlist they are using! read more

I was in the Arlington heights area for some errands and needed to get some brunch because I didn't eat yet. I saw this place nearby as it opens late because it's also a cocktail bar! There's also free parking outside. The place is aesthetically pleasing and nicely decorated. There's a fake fireplace and great furniture all around. There's cute little and big tables depending on your party. This was place pretty busy, but I just went on a Saturday. I got the 3 cheese grilled cheese and quiche. Also tried the Christmas cookie latte and candy cane mocha. Everything tasted so good! On top of that, the staff was very kind, which is always one of the biggest things I look for. I didn't have any alcoholic drinks, but maybe next time! read more

This is my first experience here, but i absolutely love it. I felt so welcomed and they let me take my time to figure out what to order. Unfortunately, I did not grab any names, but the kind people behind the bar and the lady who rang me up was so patient and didn't stop smiling. Very beautiful ambiance- the high ceilings and chandeliers. Now.. the best part.. FOOD! I got an Iced Matcha Latte & the Avocado Toast. It's truly the best toast, and I love a lot of places with avocado toast. Matcha Green just speaks for itself! I appreciate that I can decompress and calm my anxiety by sitting at the bar and coloring and they're not bothered by it. It's cozy and just a wonderful place overall. 200000/10 RECOMMEND! Please give this place a try- you won't be disappointed. read more

Great coffee drinks and food, but I recently had an experience that made me question if I'll go back there again. Today, I decided to go there for dinner and a nice coffee drink. I ordered a Crustless Vegetarian Quiche (delicious) and my Go-To coffee drink of a Lavender Blu Latte. The issue here is when I asked for my receipt - cashier guy relieved that the price of that Latte had been upped to $6 for that same drink without the menu price being changed. The owners decided not to change the price on the menu but still charged the new price. This was the only coffee drink this happened to too. I wasn't refunded. Decent seating there, but still, change the menu price if you are changing the drink pricing! Accurate pricing is good for your customers' wallets and likelihood of visiting your cafe again. Photos of the Menu and my receipt linked. read more

Beautiful indoor scenery and good eats! Loved the quiche wish I could have had more! Not pictured is a strawberry macaroon - I'm afraid that didn't make it to the table, prior to meeting my stomach. Tehe. Priced reasonably and quiet enough for remote work or 1:1 interviews/meetings. I f you're ever in Arlington Heights, CoCo & Blu is a must! read more

This cafe is super cute and has such a lovely atmosphere! It's one of my favorite cafes in the suburbs. I always try to stop here when I'm close to the downtown Arlington Heights area whether I want to have some coffee and work remotely or get some lunch and relax in a nice setting. I love their hot chocolate with marshmallows and their vanilla latte. The staff at CoCo & Blu is really friendly and super helpful if you have any questions about their menu items, they always give great suggestions. I always recommend this cafe to my family and friends. read more

Are reservations required?
I've never made a reservation. They do have events that may require one.
Is this a good place to work on a laptop, or is it more of a coffee date vibe?
Depends on the time of day and season. Weekends are busy and not a good time to.work. During the week or on cold wintery days therr are tables available to work.
Wondering why they close so early if they also serve alcohol?
That’s a great question! We actually just opened one month ago. We are not serving alcoholic beverages just yet. Hopefully that will begin sometime in March. At which point we will be open on Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings until 11:00! Until…
