I had never been tubing and this was soooo fun. We paid $30 per person for an hour of tubing. I booked our reservation the day prior. Check in was easy. The employees were super friendly. There are two types of tubes, slow and fast. There were four lanes. You could go down solo or tied to another tube. After flying down the hill, there is an escalator system that brings you and your tube back up the hill. This was amazing...but I kinda missed the workout of my sledding days as a youth . We went on a Sunday afternoon and the time slot was sold out. We never waited in line more than a couple of minutes and probably went town around 10 to 15 times. After an hour, we were tired. This was a great time!

I'll start first by saying, we had so much fun tubing. My 3 yo loved it and the girl at the front desk was awesome as well as a few of the lane workers. However, there were two girls today (lane workers) that were legit mocking the way i was standing as i was waiting for my husband and daughter to come back up the magic carpet. It was clear and noticeable. As i was standing right near them. Ladies, i don't know if you were new or on a work visa or whatever but be kind, you have no idea what people are going through. As I was in the army and a paratrooper for 8 years , my hips are not the strongest so i have to stand certain Ways for comfort. Be nice! People Come here to have fun and have a stress and worry free time!

Like all winter sports, if you know the system, then you can game it. This was my first tubing experience and while I'm no expert, I can provide some recommendations to ensure you and your family have a great ol' time. 1. Reserve tickets early 2. All lanes are about the same (in terms of speed), but lane 4 is the 'slowest' but it's also actually the longest run, so I recommend going there instead. 3. Not all tubes are equal, the tubes with the black bottoms go the fastest. 4. You can link a bunch of individual tubes together, instead of getting the double tubes We had a blast and would recommend this place, as long as you're not coming during the rush hour

Love the tubing. Awesome place. This was our first time to snow tube here and it was awesome. The staff was really nice.

Extremely fun. Every employee was unfailingly polite, friendly and professional. The hills are expertly engineered to be fast and thrilling but also safe. Went two days in a row with my three year old and she loved it. To counter a couple of negative reviews, I didn't see a single wreck in two days and I've been told that the Fraser hill is known for collisions, the lines were not long, they sell out an hourly session so there is only so many people on the course at a time, wait times were short, we probably got 9 or 10 runs in in an hour and were not left wanting more. Not sure if Fraser is walk-up or not but there's no way a pre-schooler would have made it up a hill nine times on foot.

Clark Griswold doesn't have jack on my snow tubing ability!

Super fun, especially during a snow storm. Very easy to get to from the resort. One hour is more than enough.

My impressions of this park are probably impacted by the fact that they desperately need snow. (As…read moremost ski resorts out here do). However other factors also influenced my impression. They need better access to maps, both the posted sign size and paper maps. For example, a trail map at bottom of each lift and at top of lift would be good too esp when more than 1 lift ends at same location. And why not put a map of ski village buildings on the trail map to help with orientation. I wish they would have groomed the trails more so in the morning so snow would have been fresher. It just seemed to make it more icy by grooming at night. Since many trails were closed people were condensed into those trails that were open. Squeezing more people into a smaller area will course make lift lines crowded but also puts more traffic on the slopes. The lift lines were absolutely ridiculous on the weekend. I didn't pay that much for lift ticket to repeatedly stand in lift line for 20 minutes. Also it would have been nice to have an increase in ski patrol monitoring some of the trails to discourage the aggressive behavior including the boarder who purposely ran into me and knocked me down. (When they laugh and keep going you know it was on purpose) We purchased lift tickets months ago so I don't remember the details of the process except that it wasn't straightforward. I ordered lift tickets for both myself and my husband so assuming I did the same thing each time but no he got a pass with early up access and I didn't. Weird. Okay here are some positives: I do like the availability of restrooms throughout the resort including up on some slopes. That is very nice. I appreciated sharing the slopes with amputees and individuals using wheelchairs. It is nice to see the inclusivity. I also really enjoyed going up to Sunspot lodge in the evening for sunset. That was very fun.

Less moguls, usually less traffic, and some opportunities to play in the trees. The folks operating the mountain are always kind and on solo days I seemed to find new friends on the lift ride to the top. Friendly folks all around. Stay safe. Have fun. And shred on!

Liquid Descent - Hank raft guide was the best

I've rafted with Liquid Descent multiple times, and every single trip has been a 5-star experience!…read moreThe guides are not only experts at keeping you safe, but they also make sure you have an unforgettable time on the river. This year, I went early season on Clear Creek and loved it so much I came back late season for Gore Canyon- an adrenaline-packed, fun adventure! The day started with a swim test to make sure everyone was prepared before tackling Class V rapids. (Honestly, if you're not a strong swimmer, this trip isn't for you, they do test your swimming in the rapids and throughout the trip over half of the people across our 5 rafts ended up in the water at some point! Additionally this would be quite the dive into the deep end if you've never rafted before!) The trip was an incredible mix of thrills, skill, and crazy beautiful scenery you would not have guessed was there when you drive into Kremmling. Midway through, we stopped for snacks, and when we wrapped up, the crew served a delicious lunch and cold beers (NA options were there too!) such a nice touch after a big day! What sets Liquid Descent apart is the crew. Every guide I've had has been dedicated to making the trip special. I've talked to them and many of them have said they specifically choose to work here because of the company's extra training and the sense of community. I even met the owner yesterday at Gore Canyon, and you can tell the company's passion for customer experience comes directly from the top. Specifically the last 2 guides I've had, Jordan and Malia have been awesome! Yes, most rafting companies use the same put-in/take-out points and similar gear but the experience is what makes the difference. With Liquid Descent, the guides make sure it's the best it can be and their love for their job ensures you're going to have a great time. I've rafted with other companies in locations where liquid descent isnt and know: the right guide changes everything. If you're looking for an unforgettable rafting trip in Colorado, Liquid Descent is the company to go with!

I was so nervous walking in, but from the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel welcomed, safe, and supported. Our guide, Koa, was the perfect balance of fun, kind, and incredibly skilled. He guided us through the rapids with such confidence and ease while also making sure everyone felt safe and included. He checked in on us several times throughout and made sure we were having fun, asked us if we wanted to "spice it up" a bit or keep it mellow and just really let us know this was "our" trip and he's cater to what we wanted. I quickly found myself letting go of fear and enjoying the moment... something I didn't expect would happen. Koa's energy was contagious, and his calm, respectful nature made us feel like we were in the best hands possible. At one point on the river, another rafting company had a mishap and we had to pull over and wait for them to recover and get their riders back into the raft safely. Koa explained what had happened with total grace - no judgment, no gossip - just a calm and respectful explanation. He also spoke so kindly of his own coworkers and even the owner of Liquid Descent. You could tell he genuinely cares about the rafting community and takes pride in his work and LOVES his Liquid Descent family! Every employee we encountered was friendly, encouraging, and helpful - from getting us fitted with helmets and life jackets to cheering us on as we headed out. As someone who started out nervous, that kind of supportive vibe made a huge difference. They encouraged me, and they helped me push past my comfort zone in the best way possible. What a GREAT memory! We will remember this day not only for the thrill of the rapids, but for the kindness and heart of the people who guided us through it! If you are considering rafting in Colorado, go with Liquid Descent. I'm so glad we did!

The trip is scheduled for tomorrow and we are so excited, all our gear is laid out including 3 bags of dog treats. My wife and I left multiple messages with Golden River Sports saying it was for Travis explaining we were extremely happy about how wonderful Pete the guide for Wednesday is but not a word from the guide for Thursday. I then stated I better not see one penny charged on my credit card!!!so we drove here from Iowa, rented an Airbnb waiting to go on our bucket list fly fishing trip and paid all this money to squeeze in 2 days of fishing.
