The biggest issue is the value. We paid around $200 per child, yet the price never seems to be adjusted when major attractions are closed or unavailable. The ropes course hasn't reopened since 2020, but it's still standing there, slowly deteriorating. The summer tubing hill has been reduced to just two lanes, while the rest is simply a dirt mound. The adult zip line is now closed as well. Year after year, there seem to be fewer attractions, yet the admission price continues to increase. Adventure Ridge used to be a highlight of our Vail vacations. Now it feels like you're paying premium prices for a much smaller experience. If you're considering visiting, keep your expectations low, because the pricing certainly won't be.

The only activities available to them were the trampoline, climbing wall, and mountain coaster--which is now limited to just three rides. Given that there were no lines during our visit and staff were literally sitting around, it felt unreasonable to restrict the coaster, especially given the amount of closed activities. Adding to the frustration, the rides that were not open were not clearly marked on their website or at the ticket counter, leaving families with far fewer options than advertised or communicated at the time of purchase. Unlike other resorts, Vail charges $64 per person for a ride that is operating regardless of ridership. Combined with the limited activities and lack of transparency, this left us feeling that we received little value for an extremely high price. Not worth the exorbitant price tag.

We walk up to the gandalas and ask where Green acres is and they say "green acres is closed, the only mountain open was the super tall main one for experienced ppl only. Our card wouldn't even get us a ride on the gandalas and back down. So I went back inside to ask the girl that gave us our snowboard gear if this was the case that the basic slopes were closed? And she replied "yeah unfortunately that is true" I then ask "okay so what are we supposed to do then?" She looks at me and slowly shrugs her shoulders and tells me "idk" ..............................what exactly do you mean you don't know what I'm supposed to do?..... It was then that Miguel at the other counter interjects and says "I can help you with a refund if you don't take the gear up" (he wasn't there originally when the two girls at the counter helped us get our snowboard gear) My thing is yeah obviously I'm getting a refund if I'm not even able to do what the ticket was purchased for? Like DUH you're giving me a refund! That's what the girl at the counter with the bandaid on her chin should've offered in the first place...a solution...a refund. Also these tickets were purchased almost 2 months ago, why allow the ticket purchases if those specific slopes are going to be closed? Let alone no email communications stating as such, no signs up saying anything. Not only that you have to scan your pass to get your boots, they scan it again to get the snowboard and helmet. If you knew the slopes that my ticket was for was closed at the time of you scanning to give me my gear, why wouldn't you say anything? Mind you I flew here from out of town. I think that's so rude and I will never be back here. I hate when ppl in customer service are incompetent and ignorant. We went around to the front and dealt with Julia, she was nice and offered a refund no problem. She then added a trip for us to ride the gandala up.

I've rented gear from this location many times before, and it's always been a pleasant experience, but I felt like my recent visit was less than enjoyable. Laurie assisted us, and when I opened the door to the shop she told us to wait outside, she was on the telephone at the time, and it appears that she was the only one in the shop. So we waited outside, and a couple minutes later she comes out and asks us what we need, she seemed a bit frazzled at the time. We let her know that we're here to rent gear for the day. While sitting outside she has us fill out the paperwork and she brings some hiking shoes for us to try on. Once we tried on boots that fit, she asked for our credit cards, and took them back inside the shop to ring us out. It seemed to be taking a little long, so I thought it might be a good idea to check and see what was going on. When I opened the door to the shop she tells me that my credit card is being declined, and I thought that was strange because I just used it to get a cup of coffee within the last 30 mins and it was working fine at that time. I started to approach the counter because I noticed they have a credit card machine with the chip reader and perhaps she needed to insert my card in there for it to work, and once I do that she puts her hand up and tells me "can you just stand over there". She then walks to the front of the counter and my credit card works when she inserts the chip. After that she comes outside to give us our receipts and says we're good to go, and then I ask her to please explain how to put on the snowshoe gear because my mom has never done this before. She did explain the gear and made sure our poles were at the correct height after I asked her to, however as soon as someone else walked up to the shop, she was quickly walking away and I had to raise my voice and say "Wait a second, we would like to use the restroom before we get on the lift can you please give us the code?" The entire interaction with Laurie was very strange. Usually they would give you a map and share their recommendations of where to hike depending on your skills level. I'm not sure if this was stopped due to COVID-19 protocols or if she just forgot to do it. She seemed a bit rushed or perhaps she wants to limit customer interaction as much as possible due to the COVID-19 situation, but whatever the reason I didn't feel like it was good customer service. I've gone on multiple tours and rented gear in the past, and it's always been great. I understand that with the COVID-19 situation some changes needed to be made (i.e. trying on gear outside, leaving your shoes in bins outside), but if an employee is so fearful of what's going on that they come across with an attitude, perhaps they shouldn't be in a customer facing role, there has to be a happy medium. I wish the best for this shop, but definitely feel like they would benefit from having more of a friendly and warm approach, providing excellent customer service at a distance if they want those customers returning. Without customers there will not be a Nordic Center in Beaver Creek, and that would be a real shame because McCoy Park is such a lovely place to explore.

I would highly recommend getting the full day pass, early in the morning. Covers the gondola ride ($42!?) and gets you access to everything. Or pay full boat on the zip-line and that gets you access to everything for two days. From the alpine coaster to the Game Creek Zip-line to the nerve racking ropes course, this spot is great. The coaster was a favorite for the entire family, even my son that doesn't like any kind of ride. I think the ability to control the coaster was a big help. The Game Creek zip line was truly incredible. For those that are wavering on the experience, dig deep and do it! Be sure to book in advance and try your best to get the morning slot to avoid potential afternoon weather issues. The views are incredible and the zip lining is exhilarating. I've done zip lining in Maui and this was on par with that experience. Better in that the harness keeps you facing forward and not able to rotate, not as good because there's no ocean view. But the views of the mountains and valleys are a good substitute. Dave and Ryan were incredible guides; encouraging, knowledgeable and hilarious. Safety is the main focus, "they clip, you zip". One zip is just under half a mile (up to 60 mph) and another is over half a mile. And you get to ride a ski lift to the very top of the mountain. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The ropes course is more challenging than it may appear (or we just suck). My daughter and I did the first level up and that was enough for us. It wasn't the height (we've done courses that are 50 feet up), it was the instability of the course, which I guess is the point. Makes it much more challenging but she tapped after the first level. The only disappointment was the tubing. The ride up was more exciting. When you first launch, you're thinking that you're going to plummet down the slide but something with the way the course is set up keeps you from going very fast.

You can choose wet suits, dry jackets etc... It was 75 degrees in July here so our family split between wet suits and dry jackets. The latter was the better choice. You take a 30 minute school bus ride and some quick safety instructions (thanks Erico!) And then get assigned to your boat. Ours included 8 of us and a guide. Honestly that was too much but okay. Our guide was Tristan who was fantastic. Funny and engaging with fun facts along the way. But more importantly you could tell he was taking safety seriously. We did the browns canyon ride and it was a good mix of slightly challenging for the kids and fun for the adults. All in all it was a great way to spend half a day!

They have multiple locations and have similar and different activities that you can do at each location. When we arrived we walked in through the building on the right (it looks like a store), and checked in. After checking in, we had to wait for a bit until our guides were ready. Once they were, we went into the building to the left and received our gear. For the ziplining portion, our equipment was a harness and a helmet. *Each of the helmets has cute and/or funny names, definitely spend the time and look through the names. For example: They have an adult one that says: Potato and a child one that says: Little Tater Once we were all put on our equipment, our guides, Tim & Colleen, double-checked to make sure we each had our equipment on correctly and securely. Snug, but not too snug. After checking our equipment, Tim started to read a disclaimer and some rules to follow while we were up on the zipline. Heads up: - NOTHING IN YOUR POCKETS IS SAFE - If you have any glasses or hats, leave them in your car. Wear contacts if you have to, or put the little ropes that can be connected to your glasses to catch them in case they fall off your face. - There is a wooden board with hooks to hang your car keys. They assured us that hanging the keys there are safe. There is only one road, and anyone that tries to steal a vehicle won't get very far down the one road before a police officer stops them. :) You are ziplining on the cliffside of the mountain. If you do not have pockets that zip/button closed, don't put anything in them. If anything falls down the cliff, no one is going to go and get it. It's too dangerous. Personally, I had prepared and worn my contacts - but I will probably wear glasses with the ropes next time. We went in August, and it was still chilly in the mountains. Some of the ziplines go pretty fast, so my eyes would water. I had a jacket with zipper pockets, so I was the designated picture taker in my group. I was able to keep my phone safe by putting it in my zipper pocket. After going through safety and the disclaimer, we jumped onto the bed of a truck, clipped ourselves in, and road all the way up to the mountain. After you get off the truck, there is a narrow trail you have to take to get to the first platform. It is a dirt trail, and it's on the side of the mountain. Important... don't be stupid. :) I'm personally terrified of falling from tall heights, so I had to take my time and not look down to my right. It was fine, it wasn't dangerous. It's just one of my greatest fears. (Hence facing them by ziplining!) - E X P E R I E N C E - If you can request two guides... Request Tim & Colleen! It is very apparent how much they love their job. Tim was the main guide, he has been doing this job for a very long time. They both made the whole experience so much fun. Their excitement, personalities, and overall energy made this a very unique and memorable experience. They were silly and fun, while still making sure we all were and felt safe. We are hoping to come back and be able to ask for both of them again. :) - P A R K I N G - They have plenty of parking spaces in their lot, the parking is a bit rough though - so be careful when driving in and out of the parking lot. - O V E R A L L - We all had a great experience, Colleen & Tim We had 5 people in our group, two of us had ziplined before, and three of us were doing it for the first time. It was an absolutely amazing time and I can't wait to do it again.
