A man is kneeling on the floor, helping a young girl put on a harness inside a recreational facility at Adventure Ridge in Vail, Colorado. The girl is wearing a light purple shirt, blue pants, and purple sneakers. The background features a wooden counter with various bottles, equipment, and a wall with a whiteboard. The setting appears to be an indoor area for outdoor adventure activities.

07.14 I selected 3 activities for my son (tubing, zip line and rock climbing) my daughter only wanted to get on the zip line and rock climbing. It came to about 95 for both. I think we lucked out on this day, there was not a lot of people. Barely stood in line for any of the activities. They both had 3 passes zip lining. My son did tubing 2x and they had a blast rock climbing. We're on different walls for a good hour. They didn't want to leave but I was getting a headache from the sun and altitude. It was only 72 degrees but by 2pm the sun was so intense I was miserable. Don't forget bug spay, I got bit around my ankles, even though I was wearing long pants. Those opportunistic suckers will get you wherever they can.

It's shows here that the adult zip line is included - there is NOTHING posted that says it was extra, not even the employees said so

The $94 package is a rip-off! We bought it at the bottom of the mountain only they don't tell you that the zip line is closed and NOT included in the price But it clearly says all over the place that it WAS included. There are definitely other fun activities. The views are incredible and the workers are all friendly.

Awesome experience for kids during the summer months, zip lining, rock climbing and tubing are amount the many activities kids can enjoy. On Friday's at five they have a live band which is a nice perk for the adults along with cold beer ! Five stars !!!

    tubing- the magic carpet up

Whether it's in the summer or the dead of winter, this spot on the top of the mountain is great entertainment. Take the gondola from Lionshead up to the top and in the winter you'll find one of the most hi-tech, over-the-top tubing experiences. There's a freakin' magic carpet/ people mover that's built overlooking the runs. And it's covered! The runs are straight down and fast. Kids all ages will love it. There's also ski bikes and ski mobiles available for those willing to pay a pretty penny. Summertime is gorgeous and there's lots for kids to do like trampoline/ bungee jumping, pony rides, and sand boxes for them to play in. The sandbox is one of the few free things of course :) But sunset in the summer or fall up on Adventure Ridge is gorgeous and you can get a pitcher of beer and sit outside and listen to live music. Lots of families and kids meeting each other to play. Very cool.

Unfortunately, we had made an honest mistake and accidentally booked it for the following week--when we would no longer be in town. We immediately contacted the business while we were at the location, explained the situation, and asked about a refund or reschedule. We were told we could receive a refund minus a 7.5% fee--roughly $30--for "processing." When we kindly asked for a full refund, the staff member not only refused but claimed that because she had to be on the phone and "click a button," we had now cost the business money. She stood firm that no matter the situation, a 100% refund would not be given. It's one thing to have a policy. It's another to treat a customer's good faith mistake with zero flexibility and then blame the cost of customer service on them. We didn't use any equipment, take anyone else's spot, or cancel last minute--we simply misread the date and immediately tried to make it right. $30 is a small amount, but it speaks volumes about how this company handles honest errors. We will absolutely book with another adventure company next time we're in Winter Park--one that values people over rigid policy and doesn't treat a polite refund request like an inconvenience.

We did a family trip up to the mountains for a couple of days and on our way back home, we stopped by the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens because I knew my mother in-law loved flowers and I thought she would enjoy it here. We parked in the parking lot next to the big open field. Unfortunately there was an event that day and we had to pay I think $10 (can't remember the exact amount). I guess it evened out since the garden is free? Anywho, the garden was a short walk from the parking lot. It's named after the former first lady who preferred Vail as their vacation spot and helped the community flourish to what it is today. There's signage throughout the garden to read about Betty Ford, the plants, and wild life. It's a small garden, but there are plants from all over the world and we enjoyed strolling through the various paths. My mother in-law enjoyed it as well, so mission accomplished! If you're in the area and love plants and flowers, it's worth a quick stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I became an expert on this mountain and found new meanings to my love of snowboarding on some great solo days. It's a great place to practice new tricks and techniques, and on days where it isn't too busy, the perfect run for catching some solid speed on a controlled and groomed section of the mountain. There is plenty of fun to be had at the Resolution Bowl for those comfortable with more challenging terrain. Stay safe, have fun, and shred on!

We walk up to the gandalas and ask where Green acres is and they say "green acres is closed, the only mountain open was the super tall main one for experienced ppl only. Our card wouldn't even get us a ride on the gandalas and back down. So I went back inside to ask the girl that gave us our snowboard gear if this was the case that the basic slopes were closed? And she replied "yeah unfortunately that is true" I then ask "okay so what are we supposed to do then?" She looks at me and slowly shrugs her shoulders and tells me "idk" ..............................what exactly do you mean you don't know what I'm supposed to do?..... It was then that Miguel at the other counter interjects and says "I can help you with a refund if you don't take the gear up" (he wasn't there originally when the two girls at the counter helped us get our snowboard gear) My thing is yeah obviously I'm getting a refund if I'm not even able to do what the ticket was purchased for? Like DUH you're giving me a refund! That's what the girl at the counter with the bandaid on her chin should've offered in the first place...a solution...a refund. Also these tickets were purchased almost 2 months ago, why allow the ticket purchases if those specific slopes are going to be closed? Let alone no email communications stating as such, no signs up saying anything. Not only that you have to scan your pass to get your boots, they scan it again to get the snowboard and helmet. If you knew the slopes that my ticket was for was closed at the time of you scanning to give me my gear, why wouldn't you say anything? Mind you I flew here from out of town. I think that's so rude and I will never be back here. I hate when ppl in customer service are incompetent and ignorant. We went around to the front and dealt with Julia, she was nice and offered a refund no problem. She then added a trip for us to ride the gandala up.

We had the AMEX upgrade deal, and our suite in the 180's was awesome. Considering we were coming in on Thanksgiving, having that awesome room was convenient since not much would be open in town. Our suite had two bathrooms, a reclining sofa (which we will be shopping for at home and was SO relaxing), a murphy bed, really comfortable main bed, a fireplace, and a big patio. Our fireplace had a problem in getting going, but Jacob came immediately and helped us out...on the holiday night. We needed some food, but were over Thanksgiving food for the day, and Amanda and Ben helped us out in Fitz's lounge in getting some mac and cheese off the shown menu. They have two heated pools. The other one had a waterfall feature, but we never really went to that one just because of convenience. We liked ours with two hot tubs of varying levels of heat, and apparently redone in the last year. The steam room was busted during our visit, but they have that and a sauna available, along with a spacious fitness facility that we never used. Their cool ceiling fans are pictured below also...very unique looking ones in each of our rooms. The parking onsite is underground, and I liked it because I didn't have to ask to get something in or out of my car through a valet person. We had an included breakfast, and it was high quality food, and even had an omelette station. The lobby had a great Christmas tree, along with a side room with a piano (which they allowed me to play at night). I love everything about this place, and it was a short walk to Vail Village and anything you needed or wanted to partake in. I highly recommend this place, and see you there next time...

I would highly recommend getting the full day pass, early in the morning. Covers the gondola ride ($42!?) and gets you access to everything. Or pay full boat on the zip-line and that gets you access to everything for two days. From the alpine coaster to the Game Creek Zip-line to the nerve racking ropes course, this spot is great. The coaster was a favorite for the entire family, even my son that doesn't like any kind of ride. I think the ability to control the coaster was a big help. The Game Creek zip line was truly incredible. For those that are wavering on the experience, dig deep and do it! Be sure to book in advance and try your best to get the morning slot to avoid potential afternoon weather issues. The views are incredible and the zip lining is exhilarating. I've done zip lining in Maui and this was on par with that experience. Better in that the harness keeps you facing forward and not able to rotate, not as good because there's no ocean view. But the views of the mountains and valleys are a good substitute. Dave and Ryan were incredible guides; encouraging, knowledgeable and hilarious. Safety is the main focus, "they clip, you zip". One zip is just under half a mile (up to 60 mph) and another is over half a mile. And you get to ride a ski lift to the very top of the mountain. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The ropes course is more challenging than it may appear (or we just suck). My daughter and I did the first level up and that was enough for us. It wasn't the height (we've done courses that are 50 feet up), it was the instability of the course, which I guess is the point. Makes it much more challenging but she tapped after the first level. The only disappointment was the tubing. The ride up was more exciting. When you first launch, you're thinking that you're going to plummet down the slide but something with the way the course is set up keeps you from going very fast.
