Great value for the money. The rooms are clean, the service is excellent, and we had no problems during our one-week stay. If you are looking for a 5-start luxury resort, this is not it. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay while enjoying the best Vail has to offer, this is just the place. The room was a bit outdated. The room had a really strong mildew smell. The water had a mildew smell and taste to it as well. You had to run it for a bit to clear it out in order to get a drink of water. There was construction on a new building going on just outside the bedroom window. The staff at the front desk was horrible. The first night I got there, no welcome in, nothing, it was like why are you bothering me. Non inviting, no customer service skills, and when you ask a question you get talked down to. Norman I think was the second person I talked to and he was rude and no help as well. On July 16th 2025. Me and my family decided to go to the public pool around 8:00pm. We were good until the front desk man came at 8:36 to kick the children out. We thought the kids couldn't be INSIDE of the pool so the kids sat next to the adults. But the man started yelling at us - telling the children to leave the area immediately or he was gonna call the police. He also pointed at the sign and yelled "Adults only. Can't you read?" Definitely not a way to treat your guests. We also had some issues with our resort room. Please don't come here, they're rude and disrespectful. read more

The seemingly unaware attendant at the reception desk could not find our reservation, even after I gave him the reservation number and showed him the email confirmation from the property manager. While we were waiting for "guest services" to find our reservation we wandered through the grimiest pool area I have ever seen. The pool water was filthy and the amenities were non-existent. Their incompetence saved us, since we were able to find another condo close, which was exponentially better and we were not obliged to stay in that trash heap. read more

Rating as a 1 star because of the way we were treated by the management. My family couldn't all check in at the same time so we called to notify the front desk to let them know. They told us its an extra charge of $79 to have someone different than the name on the room check in, it's policy so we paid the extra. Next day, check in time we were told that even though we have a confirmation of a two bedroom, and they have the same confirmation in their system, they don't have a room for us. An hour later, we were given a 1 bedroom (for 7 people). My husband asked specifically if there was a pool and how late it was open because our kids have been in the car for hours and would like to swim. We were told the pool is open until 9:30 so we better hurry. As soon as I walked into the lobby to go to the pool, the manager looked at me and told me the pool is closed to kids after 8:30 because it's adult swim (no one was in the pool). As we were walking back to our room we passed a hot tub. There were no signs saying no kids allowed so we jumped in. Management followed us up and told us to get out, no kids after 8:30. Somehow their inability to find our reservation became our fault and rather than admitting their mistake they became oddly aggressive with my family. We won't be staying here again. Customer service goes a long way and they are quite lacking in that department. Never again. read more

This place was just fine for my needs. Convenient shuttle w/ regular runs to Lionshead Village or the transit center in Vail. Outdoor ski locker. They have a couple of outdoor hot tubs and sauna with dressing rooms. A little outdated in comparison to the other local resorts but well-appointed 2 bed 2 bath we stayed in seemed to be a good value for the early Feb Week in which we stayed. They are a partner with Falcon Point (in Avon). Apparently both are now a subsidiary of Welk Resorts, as well. read more

I recently spent a week at Eagle Point Resort in Vail, Colorado, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The resort, which was built in 1962, shows its age in various aspects that significantly impacted the quality of our stay. Firstly, the overall condition of the resort left much to be desired. The carpet in our two-bedroom condo was old and dingy, giving the space an unpleasant and outdated feel. The floors creaked. The walls and ceiling were very thin allowing noises and plumbing sounds from adjacent units to resonate throughout our condo. The aging infrastructure was particularly noticeable, and it was evident that the property could benefit from some much-needed renovations. Furthermore, the amenities provided were far from functional. The TV in one of the bedrooms did not work. The internet was another major disappointment. Every morning, there was a consistent outage that affected all rooms in the resort until 8 am. It was frustrating to have to wait for the front desk manager to come in and reset the modem for the entire property. Despite raising concerns about the recurring problem, the staff denied any issues and failed to acknowledge the inconvenience caused to the guests. Communication with the front desk was a constant struggle. The phone was never answered, leaving guests with no option but to deal with issues in person. Unfortunately, the in-person experience was equally disappointing, as the staff exhibited a rude and dismissive attitude towards guests' concerns. As part of the advertised services, the room was supposed to be cleaned mid-week. However, this commitment was not honored during my stay. The lack of cleanliness only added to my growing disappointment with the resort. Checkout instructions required us to clean the unit, empty all the trash cans, clean the kitchen, run the dishwasher, gather all linens and put the in the bath tubs, etc.,. I've never stayed in a resort that required the guest to clean to that extent before leaving, or be fined. In conclusion, my week at Eagle Point Resort in Vail was marred by outdated facilities, malfunctioning amenities, poor communication, and unfulfilled service promises. I am deeply disappointed with my experience and regret choosing this resort for my stay. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider and explore alternative options, as my experience at Eagle Point Resort fell far short of expectations. I will not be returning and hope this review serves as a warning to others seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Vail. read more

I've been waiting til I check out to put this place on blast. The ONLY thing that was nice is the room. Super nice! HOWEVER, their pool was under construction and no notice about it. Would've went somewhere else. The staff is NOT friendly at all. They say if you check in after hours to call a number but when you call the number nobody answers. Saw people stranded out front and a family with a baby waiting outside forever. The maintenance guy is grumpy JERK! They gave us the wrong room upon check in. We went to our original room and someone was already in it. For the price of this place in a "ski resort" area, you can find much better. I'll NEVER go there ever again. We grabbed this place to use some pts that were going to expire w/o the cost of airfare. First, this is NOT a high-end ski-in ski-out location with a giant chandeliers in the lobby. It IS a great "off-broadway" location, quiet, friendly, comfortable space. The good: 5 minute drive to Vail village or Lionshead, 12 minutes to Beaver Creek. Great, friendly staff. Recently renovated with Comfy beds, granite counters, fully stocked kitchen, tile bath, new carpet and an elevator. Simple rec pool, 2 hot tubs, all clean, outdoor and in the center of the building. The summer stay includes activities, happy hours, day trips & such. The place is right on the river and there is a great park with tennis right across the river - a short walk to the end of the block to cross over. There is also a bike trail along the river. The Bad: Curb appeal is not good. First impression had me thinking I had made a huge mistake. The 2015 post about the windows is valid; small window in mbr, another to walkway by the door. But...It provides nice cross-flow in the summer (no A/C anywhere in Vail!) and there are blinds you can close and no shortage of lighting & fans. We showed up and we're immediately welcomed by an extremely rude concierge host who tried his best to get us out of the office as soon as possible. As soon as we went upstairs to our room, we couldn't get into the room because the lock wouldn't open. Upon going back down to the office they blamed the issue on us until finally the maintenance person agreed to help us. When he got to the room he realized the batteries in the door lock were dead and needed to be replaced - instead of replacing them he rotated them around until the lock worked and went on his way. After getting back from dinner at 10pm, the door wouldn't open again, except now no one was in the office. The phone number on their website continued to hang up after dialing. Finally we found an "after hours checkin" phone number near the office and called it. After being on hold for 25 minutes, we were connected to someone who tried to tell us we were doing it wrong, again. He eventually said that they weren't going to be able to make it. However when we finally mentioned that there was medication in the room that we were going to get to one way or another, he agreed to finally send someone. After 30 minutes we got through to the person that would be coming. After another HOUR, they finally showed up and let us in. Thank goodness we had friends staying in the same complex that let us hang out while management tried to find someone awake enough to come let us in because it was -5 degrees out. Eagle Point Resort was such a treat! Matt, the main manager, was so great and helpful. Even though the resort is a quite place, Matt knew we had a guest in our party with sleeping issues so he made sure to set us up in the 2 bedroom condo on the top corner floor, facing the river. It was perfect. He went above and beyond to help fulfill our needs. I can't say enough about how great he was. Eagle Point Resort is a beautiful place that sits along the river and is very close to the chair lifts. We lucked out. Thank you Matt for all your help! We will be back soon. read more

Every time we come ski Vail, we stay here at Eagle Point. We spent the last week here and had such a great experience, as per usual. Let's start with the lobby, they always have apple cider, hot cocoa, tea, and coffee out for the guests! The hot cocoa is my personal favorite, but the apple cider doesn't disappoint! They have different events throughout the week in the lobby for the guests. There's a wine and cheese night, they not only have wine and cheese they have little sandwiches that were really yummy! There's also a kids night and a continental breakfast. The breakfast wasn't as elaborate as the wine and cheese night, they had donuts, muffins, and some fruits. Now let's talk about the shuttle. There's a shuttle which takes your straight into Lionshead. It drops you off near the public busses, which if you take the inner loop (it's free) will take you right into Vail Village. However, sometimes if the shuttle driver is feeling nice they will make an extra stop and take you to Vail Village themselves. They also do grocery store runs on specific days (which is great because there's a kitchen in the rooms). Now let's talk about the rooms! We stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath room. The master bedroom had a large bed and big bathroom attached to it. The other bedroom has two twin beds. The rooms are partially updated. There's new light fixtures and a new dining room table, but it's mostly cosmetic they seem to be doing more updating (there's a display in the lobby showing what they're going to be doing). If you're the unlucky guest sleeping on the pull out couch, it's extremely uncomfortable. Also, be prepared to hear everyone walking back and forth in the hall outside all night. There's also only cleaning services on specific days. Pay attention or you'll miss it and they won't come in to clean. In addition, there are two hot tubs one inside and one outside. Theres also a pool and a basketball hoop by the pool. Parking can be a little difficult if there are a lot of guests. But they have an over flow lot. Overall had a great week here will definitely be coming back for more skiing! read more

Hidden West Vail gem! Recently remodeled with new carpet, upgraded kitchen and furnishings, Eagle Point is a quiet, low-key condo complex in West Vail. The newly installed elevator, free Wi-Fi in each unit and private shuttle into town from morning into the evening (at least in the winter) make it a great place to relax and experience Vail. The perfect place to spend a week, especially if you don't need "The Ritz". read more

All the pictures are accurate, convenient shuttle to lionshead that runs on time, relatively clean place, just older property. Nice to have full kitchen. Definitely a 2-2.5 star property as expected - just needed a convenient place to stay, 2 bedroom that sleeps 6 ppl. Provided a lot of extra towels and separate ones for pool/hot tub. Staff nice. Wouldn't return though because the walls were very thin, heard every footstep in room above, there was the sound of water tapping all day and night like the pipes were running and clicking. Hard to get good nights sleep, which you need after a day of skiing. read more

A week before arrival we called to confirm our room and how we would be arriving after midnight, in which they said it was okay. We get there and there is no one at the front desk or answering the phone. We ended up having to stay somewhere else for the first night spending an additional $215 for one night. If you're a budget traveler with kids - 1) Why are you in Vail? Really - there are better places to be. That aside, this place is fine. It's clean. It's cheap, It's spacious. For everyone else - Jesus f***** Christ. First of all, it's the Eagle Point *Resort*, not Lodge. And it's one of the most notable abuses of the word resort I think I've ever seen. This place has zero amenities - it's Motel 6 without the roaches. Want breakfast? That's down the street. There's a pool... that's about the size of a hot tub. And it's filled with tweens. Fantastic. Is your luggage heavy? Well, you're in luck! We've got no elevator. But hey - you'll be glad you got your exercise in, because this resort features absolutely zero options for cardio, weight lifting, or any other kind of exercise in its non-existent f******** exercise room. Oh - and don't even think of trying to access any website that is 'adult' in nature, including several that aren't even remotely adult content - they just have words or concepts that made the Puritans that designed their content filter in 1650 uncomfortable. Seriously. The word Resort here describes what you'll soon feel after checking in - the desire to resort to violence. And after I realized how shitty this place is and asked if I could check out with 24 hours notice, I was told that, no - within 30 days there are no refunds. read more

I really LOVE Vail. It is super upscale from the cuisine, shopping, bowling alley to its movie theatre. The Eagle Point Lodge is a timeshare resort that I would call two stars, because it has a motel style layout (apartments that open to an outdoor covered walk way/no elevators), no room service and shared laundry facilities. The apartments themselves have been recently renovated and are "luxurious" with granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances. The apartments are comfortable, the staff is friendly, and they have regular bus service during ski season to the nearby ski lift. Vail as a location is PRICEY, considered the most expensive ski area in the continental United States, and possibly, even Europe. So all things being relative, the Eagle Point Resort is an affordable,convenient and all around better alternative to the Marriott. read more

Our 2-bed 2-bath accommodations did not disappoint. As 30-year Marriott Time Share owners; when we book outside of Marriott not always sure what we will get. In this case Eagle Point Resorts offer a good product, comfortable, quite, our master bedroom looked out on the mountains, free shuttle to Vail and conveniently located of West Vail exit. read more

Just got back from a fantastic three days at Vail. One of the highlights was the Eagle Point Lodge, possibly the best place in Vail for budget travelers. Our family of three was very comfortable in the one-bedroom condo. It was very nicely updated, with soft-close cabinets, granite countertops, and a full appliance package. The bathroom was also modern and updated. The room was VERY quiet, never heard a peep. This was the most important thing to me. We did all of our own cooking and didn't eat in town, figured we saved a lot of $$ that way. Eagle Point has a Weber grill that we used to cook steaks. After two hard days' of riding we definitely enjoyed the hot tub and the heated swimming pool. I made two requests of the staff to bend the rules (requested parking for a second car for one day, and requested a late check-out). Both requests were very helpfully accommodated. The shuttle is free and convenient, it might have been nice if it ran throughout the day, IF we wanted to take advantage of that. As it stood we only used it to get to and from the slopes. No problems with finding space when we wanted on the shuttle. Resort has free wi-fi but it ran a bit slow, like many hotels. The resort is a timeshare community. They won't pepper you for a sales talk although they may mention it when you check out. Pricing seems extremely reasonable if that's your thing. My family will DEFINITELY go back to Eagle Point the next time we visit Vail. Very highly recommended!!! read more

This place is awesome!! Great for not just families, but everyone. We have been coming here for 10 years. They are always trying to improve and listen to suggestions. The place is clean and updated. They have a fantastic shuttle system to Lionshead and the grocery. They have a swim out pool. Two hot tubs, one indoors and one on the deck. They have 2 decks with grills with table and chairs. Great for apres ski.. They also have laundry facilities. Excellent location to Beaver Creek and Edwards too. It's affordable for Vail. And if you haven't skied Vail then you must try it. My next goal is to come here in the summer. read more

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Eagle Point Lodge for 4 nights. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Comfortable beds/pillows, I slept well after days on the slopes. Nice bathroom and kitchen amenities. It made my first trip to Vail a very positive and memorable experience. The distance from Vail and Lions Head, and the choices to get back and forth tarnished the experience a bit. I enjoyed my stay but found it to be a ways a way from Lions Head and Vail, the transportation to and from was mediocre at best. Eagle Point shuttle service is ok in the morning but times become less and less as the day progresses. It inconveniently ends at 5:30pm, leaving you to rely on the Vail bus system. The stop for the Vail bus is down a dark, windy road and runs infrequently. The walk to Lions head takes about 20min give or take depending on if the trail is clear. I will recommend Eagle Point to others. If the shuttle times extend past 5:30pm to at least 9pm, I will gladly stay at EP next time I'm in Vail. read more

This is a really great place (the kiddo decided that he would live there). The staffers are friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient to getting to anyplace in Vail. The kitchen is nice (I cooked a fair amount to save money), the bed is comfortable, and we enjoyed having room in the living room to spread out and relax. They also lend you movies and video games, which is a nice touch. The flowers are beautiful. If we go back to Vail, we would definitely consider staying there!!! read more

Stayed here for a week. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and there's social events planned throughout the week to encourage guests to meet and greet. They offered a free shuttle to the Lionshead plaza and if you're ambitious, you can walk to the Cascade lift (although I broke a sweat to do so). Also, free ski lockers are available. Quiet hours start at 10pm so it's a family friendly resort, not for young partiers. They were fairly good at enforcing it. Two jacuzzis (one outdoor, one indoor) and a heated indoor/outdoor pool. This resort is very nice. It has 1 and 2 bedroom condos and studios. There hot tubs and pool and sauna is very relaxing and nice. The staff here really want you to enjoy your time here and most of them can speak fluent Spanish. The busing is very convenient. You can get to and from Lionshead and every Saturday and Monday to the grocery store. We come here every year and are always very pleased. read more

If you are going to Vail Colorado to ski, and you are a Wal Mart shopper and Dennys and Mc D frequent patron its for you. The entire crew is wonderful, the rooms are like back home, the shuttle to the lift is great, the rooms are very sound proof, the water is hot, the spas and pool nice, the do it your self laundry welcome, and fully equipped kitchen first class. There is no wine list. Get the free shuttle to City Market for this. If you are used to the Grand Hyatt in NYC go to the Arabell a few blocks away . read more

What a dump! Hard to call this a resort in my book. The dingy and dank one bedroom unit had only two windows. The one in the front permitted everyone who walked by to look in and a small one in the MBR. The carpet had holes and poorly mended tears in it. Had contemplated purchasing a time share week at this location prior to check in but inflexible, poorly disclosed pet policy and grumpy general manger made "no" an easy decision. Stay away from here. You can do better if you'd prefer not to ruin your vacation. read more

Condo units are small. They showed me a really nice unit in March, and then actually booked my family into much smaller, dingier units. Check in clerk paid no attention to our different reservations, resulting in one family being woken up at 8:30 am and told they had to move because the clerk had put them in the wrong condo. I will never recommend this lace or go back. When I brought this to the attention of the manager I was told that I should have given special instructions yo the front desk....aren't THEY supposed to look at the reservation and see how many nights it is for? Manager took no responsibility for snafu at all. read more
