Don't waste your money here. Go to the historic hill instead. First off, the portable toilets are absolutely disgusting and don't look like they've been serviced in weeks. That was my first impression of the place and will prevent me from ever coming back. One staff member was nice but the other one was constantly disparaging the original hill next door. Plus there is a future development poster inside. We need more mom and pop, not more corporate culture and certainly less development in Colorado. They don't sell actual food, just snacks. They have a rack of equipment. Helmets are mandatory for minors. There is a line to go up now and it's fairly long which means less sliding. Ok, this place was a blast but their customer service prior to our tubing day was absolutely trash. I called to figure out their unclear ticketing information and called three times before I spoke to anyone. When I asked them to clarify the price on Groupon versus the price on the website, they basically told me that Groupon is a scam and we should only purchase through them. On top of this, their no refund policy is completely insane. They won't refund for ANYTHING. So God forbid you get sick, good luck getting your money back (let alone getting the manager on the phone). read more

This place is all about Tubing! I was there during the President Day long weekend and had a chance to go tubing for an hour while waiting for another snowshoeing tour that we signed up at Winter Park Resort. I thought it was great that the place was open and accepted people who walked in (we tried getting some spots inside Winter Park Report and was told they were full/needed us to have reservations!). Colorado Adventure Park though was a bit out of the way (maybe 15 min bus ride), but you could take a free shuttle bus (comes every half an hour/ an hour or so?) from Winter Park resort to get there. It was a little in convenient, but if you were looking for fun things to do/entertain your inner child, this was was worth it! The costs were $55/hr for a double and perhaps $35/hr for a single. You could go for an hour or two and must sign a waiver before they process your payment at a window. Overall, it was pretty easy to figure out the logistics of how to move a tube, get up the slope (there was a conveyor that took us up to the top of the hill) and slide down! I would say, I loved the small adrenaline rush that you get from coming down the slope for you...oh gosh, I hadn't done tubing for such a long time..so it was pretty fun! You probably don't need more than an hour or two..so you should be ready to head back/find other activities to do around the area. Overall, I liked it...it was a little out of the way from Winter Park Resort..but I loved the flexibility that you could just come without any reservations.and loved how easy and stress less the activity was....to entertain/be with your innerself! Check this plac eout if you have time! The only thing I wished was that the shuttle comes more frequently....or that I had a private vehicle when I went there..but given the icy road...honestly..it was best that we didn't drive there to go tubing and took a free shuttle instead. read more

Tubing was sooooo much fun here!! The slopes weren't to steep! It was a lot of fun! If you're not from Colorado and never driven in any snow or mountainous areas, I definitely recommend staying up in the mountains and not drive from downtown Denver to the snow resorts lol. Nothing special. Had a good time with the family but it's nothing more than a snowy hill with a lift. The two biggest problems I had with it were this: -We bought our tickets two days prior online but still had to wait an hour after we arrived to get tubes. Their website says that priority is given to online tickets. -The other issue is too many people either don't know how to maintain their balance or just play around on the lift. This caused 2 huge pile ups on the lift in the hour and a half that I was there. One situation got to a point where I started throwing other peoples tubes over the rail to relieve the pile up. Actually tubing down the hill was a blast, but due to this being the only activity to do here, the potential for people tripping all over each other on the lift and the long wait time, I will probably stick to a snow park closer to Breckinridge next time. read more

It was my first time tubing and I truly enjoyed it. My friends and I were able to tie our tubes together and come down the tubes all together. They also had double tubes and single tubes. We made a reservation online and you are required to pick a day and pre-pay. I understand it is a holiday weekend, however I don't understand why they were still allowing walk ins..that would have definitely decreased the wait time for people with reservations. They do not offer refunds and were very rude if you asked for additional time or accommodations. We waited inline to check in 2 hours. We waited inline for a tube for 1 hour. The lines to go up the hill took approximately 20-25 minutes. We were able to run the hill 3 times. So we were there for 4 hours and went 3 times, that's over $10 a slide.. The actual hill was nice but the overall experience was horrible. They have portable toilets outside and they were literally overflowing onto the floor. It was disgusting. We have always done the Fraiser Hill and it has always been a much better experience. I would not come here again. read more

I had a great time here! I will 100% come back again. I purchased tickets in advance but I arrived 15 minutes after opening because of the negative reviews about long wait times. There was absolutely no wait when I got there! Also, I went tubing for 2 hours and even when I was finished the line wasn't long at all (maybe a 5 minute wait - at most.) I came on a Saturday and I was pleased that the check-in was so smooth and seamless. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hills were so much fun. Seriously - this is the most fun I've had in a while. I also loved the fire pit and there was a nice variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase. It was a fun time for the entire family. I think I had more fun than my kids . Boy I stay on the easy slope and I was told we reached speeds upwards of 30 mph. . We witnessed a just a few wipeouts, because the workers are good at warning you to get the heck out of the way of others coming down the hill. A hideous experience. Hundreds of people waiting in line to check in for their online reservation. Only one person checking people in. Tickets being sold to others at a faster rate. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told "I can text my boss." Handwritten "No Refund" signs are evidence that they know things are a dumpster fire, but this does not remotely resemble what was offered online ("by reserving online, you will be able to just check in at concessions"). After waiting for 1.5 hours just to check in, another 1.5 hours waiting for a tube. The hourly employees were sort of trying, but were obviously beaten up working for this place. Now, to the tubing part, we only got to go down the hill twice. We waited in a huge line. Colorado Adventure Park has seasonal events happening throughout the year with Snow Tubing being the most popular in the winter months of the year. They have a bonfire area with wooden benches and picnic tables in the summer, but in our visit they were buried with the deep snow and there was no bonfire warming us up while waiting to fill out the waiver forms. The pricing was $25.00 for a single tube an hour, which is actually workable and not bad considering not everyone wanted to tube at the same time. We saw another option for $40.00 for a double tube that would be fun for you and your partner. So everything is virtual now, it seems like QR CODES are everywhere!!! To restaurants and menus and even signing our waivers here. You can fill out the same waiver if you have a minor, just add their names. I had pretty bad signal, so I was freezing my tail off while trying to get my screen to load.. no big deal!! I was actually looking forward to the snow tubing. We had a party of 4 in total and our total was $150.00 for admissions fee, also rented a helmet for our youngest party. The process is simple and straightforward: Fill the waiver, get your tube, and head to the "Red Carpet Ride," that takes you to the very top of the hills. We ended up overstaying our welcome and the staff seemed to not check our pay stub which was nice. We slid down 4 hills in total, ranging from "easiest to hardest," all categorized by color. There are no food options here, so do prepare to eat before, during or after. Bring your own snacks. There are no seating areas at the bottom of the hills, you do have to walk almost a mile to get to the hills and tube. The restrooms are at the entrance, so do keep that in mind! After sliding the 4 hills a number of 100 times, we did call it a day! read more

We had so much fun tubing after riding Ski Mobiles next door. It was a really good rate and you tube as many times as you want. There are I believe 4 different hills to tube down that range from easy-most difficult. I stuck to the first 2 levels and got enough of an adrenaline rush. The only downside is once you get down the hill you kind of have to move quick or someone else can run into you as they come down. They serve alcohol in the can and you can bring your own items to have like a like a little picnic at the tables. read more

Great exciting fun. Fun for the whole family. So much to do. We decided to go tubing and there was not a huge crowd. Prices are reasonable and they do give military discount. You pay buy the hour so you can gage how much time you want to play in the snow ! There are different size hills for you depending on if you want to be daring or not . There employees are extremely helpful and there at each slope or hill to help. We are definitely going to go back up and enjoy other activities. It's also nice to just sit and watch others if you can't do the activities by the fire pit outside as I did with some hot cocoa! Paid $260.00 dollars for 7 people and for 1 hour. they have 2 hills with 1 carpet rider moving people up the hill. The line was extremely long and it took 30 minutes to get to the top and ride down( 1min). So we got 2 rides down and spent most of the time in line. About 19$ per downhill ride. Very disappointed. Stopped at a gas station before we got to the hill and the attendant walked us through buying tickets online to avoid a long line. Thought we pre-bought tickets for the Fraiser tubing hill that also has a lift for riders and had few people having to wait. Found out after that it was the adventure park. It was actually really great don't get me wrong. I gave it a four out of five stars though because after meeting some of the people that reside in Winter Park apparently there was a feud over the Fraser sledding hill and this Colorado adventure park sledding hill. Apparently one side was a little more forceful than the other and basically said "then fine I'll build a hill right next to yours". Without saying names I'm sure you can figure out who is who. With that in mind it was an amazing time and I would definitely do it again however I would patronize at both sledding hills to spread the wealth. Disorganized, poor flow for customers, long wait times, terrible customer service and management. We've been here multiple years. Online reservation line checkin was over 1 hr. Checkin process should just be checkin, but took about 4 minutes. Wait times for tubes was 43 minutes. Wait time to top of the hill on the magic carpet was between 16-22 minutes per ride. For a 1 hr session it was 2 hrs of waiting and 3 rides. To make things worse, the staff and manager amped up the crowd frustration rather than calming and was yelling at people to be nice to her on the megaphone. 1) if there is a capacity issue - which there is- meter the ticket sales. 2) honor online reservations vs speeding same day sales. 3) get a flow system. Everywhere was crowded but other businesses have a crowd flow and better communication. 4) require staff to take customer service training. This was an example of what not to do. Families- this sounds fun but the wait times will frustrate your kids and it will be a memory maker- Just not a positive one. read more

My family and I were excited to go snow tubing. We bought our tickets online to help alleviate any lines, crowds or the possibility of being turned away due to large crowds. We arrived at Colorado Adventure Park @ 1:00pm. To our surprise there were 2 long lines, one to buy tickets and one for online check in. We were extremely disappointed to find ourselves in line for over an hour just to check in. After checking in we were sent to another line to get tubes. CAP extended our time and hour but this was no help. The tube line was even longer than the check in line. We stood in line for over an hour and a half. The only reason we didn't leave is because they don't offer refunds . The employees handing out tubes did not have a clue of what they were doing. They were stacking tubes instead of handing them out. Needless to say we finally got tubes. It was 4:15! That's 3 hours of waiting in line. By this time the sun had gone down! This is ridiculous! I will never go here again nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Also, the fire they advertise was not turned on. So here's the deal: If you've never been tubing before at a "commercial tubing park" then this place is 4 star fun. The tubes are in good shape. The snow surface is well maintained. The "magic carpet" lift is easy to use and gets you back uphill efficiently. Finally, the staff is uniformly helpful and nice. But, and here's the big but, so to speak: Whoa the place is pricey. $24 to tube for 1 hour for a single. $36 for 2 hours. Wanna double up with your BTB (best tubin' buddy:)? That'll be $38 for a double tube for 1 hour and $64 for 2 hours. Now, would anyone really wanna go for more than 1 or at most 2 hours since the activity consists of riding down the hill and then doing the same thing again, and then again, and then again for an hour or 2? The answer's prolly "no." But here's the more important question, "Did we have an absolute hoot and love it for the hour that we were there?" And the answer to that is, "you betcha!" So if you've never been before I heartily recommend that you take yourself over to CAP and give it a try. And it'll be all the more fun if you can drag a little tyke with you since they'll have such a great and exciting time, and seeing kids have fun is so much fun on its own! It's a little less expensive and a little more historic to go to CAP's neighbor "The Historic Fraser Tubing Hill" right next door, but the grade is not quite as steep and the equipment looks a little less bright and shiny.The bottom line, however, is that you should go to one of them when you're up in the area next. Major changes needed to ticketing and crowd management. A limit to the number of online reservations should be established. And once that amount of tickets sold the website should state SOLD OUT for that date. No walk up ticketing sales when online ticketing pick up lines exceed 1 hour. The website stated priority given to online purchases (which are not refundable) but that was not the case. Refunds for online purchases should be granted when wait time is excessive. Signage and staffing to control the crowds is needed. I don't know how many times people cut in front of us in line - too many to count. We showed up close to 1:00 and finally did 1 run after 4:00 - 3 hours + of waiting! It was a special occasion for our daughters 18th birthday and the tickets were purchased online so no refunds. it was a beautiful Colorado day and we enjoyed being together, but wasn't worth the time or the money. read more
