Got my car washed and pulled out of the tunnel to where they hand dry the cars. 2 people dried my car and I tipped them, then I pulled over to the vacuum area. Getting out of my car I found some very obvious black streaks on the side of my car that I easily wiped clean myself. No wonder car washes are heading towards an automated/ do it yourself model. I also saw that a car hand wash was $50 and they were using a pressure washer and then towel dried the car. Hand wash must mean something different here. read more

I always get my oil changed there and they are always so nice but yesterday SEAN took the prize! My oil gauge was low and the mileage sticker was wiped clean so I figured it was time for an oil change. Nope! Sean came back and said I am 1000 miles early and all my fluids looked good! (I confessed I did put a quart in recently!) He also let me know I do have a small oil leak and they would top me off if needed until my me next scheduled visit! I always go wash my car myself. I don't really mind doing it, saves me a little bit of money and I can get it done the way I want. Well, I got a mailer for a free supreme wash ($27) so I figured I would use it. I am pregnant so it is nice not to have to bend over and do it all myself. Lol. Anyways got in my car and drove off and notice that the dash or even the steering wheel area etc was still dusty. They also offered a scent and I chose vanilla... my car smells the same as when I dropped it off. Not sure if they do a minimal "spritz" that goes away quickly or if they forgot to put it in or what. Overall it was just okay. The waiting area was really big lots of drinks to choose from normal convenience store. A few couches you can wait for your vehicle. I guess I don't know what the supreme wash entails but thought I would be a little more impressed honestly. I will just keep going to the self serve part and doing it all myself. read more

Been to this car wash twice now. Payed for the premium wash and clean each time and the interior of the car was barely wiped down. There was barely anyone there and it still took significant time to complete. The second time the floor matt latch was broken. I would not recommend this place to have your car cleaned with so many other options in Phoenix. read more

First-I was told not more than 2 hours..... and I told the service man that I needed to know good estimate on the time needed for car as I had dropped my daughter off at the gym and needed to pick her up. It took over 3 hours!!!! My daughter had to find another ride :-(. I spent nearly $300 based on what was explained to me for covered services. Never again will I use a cobblestone Spa......I may as well just pay $17 at local express way and use their FREE vacuum!!!!!! This is 2nd time that I gave my money to this outfit and was disappointed!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! Each floor surface still has bit of stuff on it which could have easily been picked up by a vacuum cleaner. Debris also visible Better from seats and center counsel. The was still a large piece of caramel corn in the VISIBLE & ACCESSIBLE tract for the middle seats to slide. I went to pick up the corn and my finger landed in a cool wet lumpy mess in the Track! Gross!!! It's as of they sprayed something to clean a portion of the track and then never wiped it up..... several were like this!! Hello! ???? This is why I'm paying $300 just for the interior!! The salesman at the start (ML) specifically told me that the $90 for surfaces was NOT just to wipe down but to get in and clean these areas! NOT!!! I called and spoke with the manager within 10 min of leaving (pulled off road to take pics of all the debris and missed areas). The manager offered nothing but excuses and ultimately said that Cobblestone does NOT DO DETAIL. Guess what buddy--you shouldn't be charging so much then and make it clear when a customer comes in and tells the salesman that I need the "entire interior cleaned and shampooed from soup to nuts"........ that the salesman should not say they'll do it and then fail to do what they said!!! I had a bad experience before Buy I thought I'd give them another chance. Wrong choice!!! I won't make that wrong choice again! I'll go to the express cleaning business and drive my car they the wash and then do the clean & vacuum myself........ and it certainly won't take anywhere near 3+ hours!!!! The attached pics are AFTER I had already picked up debris and tossed it......until I realized that there was still small amounts of debris everywhere! Part of this is my fault for not checking, as I was on the phone when my vehicle was complete at "the finish line" The cobblestone at Alma and Germann treats me well, but I stopped here this morning on my way to work. I got an oil change which seems fine. But I paid for the upgrade wash to the "works". Well I didn't get the air freshener. And check out the mess they left by not vacuuming the car! Ha! An automobile sweet spot. You can get gas for your car, have the oil changed and relax in the outside lounge under a "cool misty spray" (because it is HOT in AZ) while your car is being washed and detailed etc. Inside the convenience shop are plenty of snack foods, cold drinks, and grab and go foods. If you prefer you can wait inside in a comfortable air conditioned lounge area, watching several flat screen TV's while your car is being cared for. On the down side the clerk screwed up my husband's lottery ticket purchase, but she redeemed herself when she gave us directions to the I-17 northbound. I've been bringing my family and business vehicles to Cobblestone for years for car washes and oil changes. Always been pretty happy. When I brought my work van in recently for an oil change, I asked for the 'dump and pump' oil change. This is a promotion they run periodically where you just get an oil and filter change (no other fluids or checks). I prefer this service because it's inexpensive (I think about $20). But also because I want to run Honda brand fluids in my power steering, brakes, etc. I pulled into the oil change bay and told them I wanted that service, I was told that they stopped that promotion a couple of days ago. I was frustrated, but understood. During this coronavirus, I need to save every penny, so I said I'll go home and do my own oil change. Important detail: The last time my oil was changed was by this Cobblestone location back in October, about 6 months ago. I don't put a lot of miles on that van. About a week later, I got my van up on jacks in my driveway and drained the oil. When I went to put my drain bolt back in I found that it would not tighten all the way. I immediately realized what had happened. The tech that did my last oil change at Cobblestone either cross-threaded the bolt when putting it back in or over tightened it, causing damage. My work van (which I HAD TO HAVE for my business) was up on jacks in my driveway with no oil in it and no way to fill it up because it would all just leak out again! I was not happy. But hey, I run a small business. I know that mistakes happen. This was Cobblestone's opportunity to show me how well they respond to their mistake. I called them up and asked for a manager. I spoke with an assistant manager for the oil department who immediately told me they couldn't do anything because I tampered with (removed) the bolt. There was no way for them to know if they had done the damage or if I (or someone else) had done the damage. I understand this, to an extent. The problem with this response is there was no way that ANYONE could have known the about the damage without removing the bolt. I asked to talk with someone else. I was told to call someone at corporate office. I explained the situation to her (I think she was a receptionist) and she gave me the number of the area manager. I called him I believe three times and left three messages. I probably gave him 45 minutes, but he didn't call me back. Called the assistant manager at the Elliot location again. He said he had talked with the area manager and again, there was nothing they could do. At this point I was not impressed with their response. I said something about the only way this was going to be resolved is if they sent a tow truck and fixed it. Finally, the area manager called me back. He was not a very pleasant person to talk to. He repeated all the stuff about me tampering with the bolt by removing it, etc. I repeated all my stuff about there was no way anyone could have known there was damage until the bolt was removed, etc. He finally said that if I have it towed down there using my towing service, they would fix it that day. I didn't want to use my insurance towing service because I honestly don't know how many times I get to use it. I didn't want to use it and then when I'm stuck on the side of the road at some point have them say; 'sorry, you already used your towing service; you have to pay this time'. But the area manager wouldn't budge on the towing issue (even though it was only a 2.5 mile tow). Very long story, short (yeah, right!): I ended up using my insurance to tow my van to Cobblestone. The guys there (including the assistant manager) were very respectful and helpful. They said they could easily fix this quickly and get me back on the road. The assistant manager did the work himself and they were done within about 30 minutes. Maybe less. I am pleased with the final result and how they did the repair. However, I'm not pleased with the run-around I got and negative attitude I got. I should probably give them less than 3 stars. But when I think about them over all the years they have serviced multiple vehicles for me, this is the first negative experience I've had. Did they make a mistake? Yes Did they fix their mistake? Eventually. With a lot of grief and demands on my part. This whole experience ended up taking me about 5 hours. If they had simply responded by saying something like; "I'm so sorry you're experiencing this problem. We stand behind our work and we'll do everything necessary to make things right." A friendly attitude and sending a message of apology instead of 'we did nothing wrong, you're on your own' would have made an AMAZING difference! read more

We have been a loyal customer since the opening. Oil changes and detailing for our vehicles have always been done at this location. I was treated so poorly by the manager Sunday. We can not go back. He was defensive and didn't care. It was early in the morning, so his day was just getting started. No name tags either. It is sad how little they value loyal customers that have never had an issue. All they have to do is listen to the issue and help the customer get the work done. And not be a total jerk. You don't deserve our business. Someone else really does. I have been going to this location for years. I typically get an oil change and car wash. The mechanics have always been friendly. I appreciate the check-out staff as well, they are helpful when I ask questions. Specifically, on my last visit Maddi was a big help finding me a coupon to use for my check-out, thanks again Maddi! The only negative is that my car wash the last couple of years has declined in terms of the thoroughness/quality of the wash...this last time it looked like it wasn't touched at all. Came in to get my truck detailed and was quoted a price with the platinum wash plus extra add ons. I specifically showed the associate my concern with the dog hair. He assured it would be vacuumed out and the full service interior would be taken care of. Upon getting my vehicle back, the back seats were left completely UNTOUCHED, the entire dash was not wiped down or cared for like he said it would be. I expressed my concerns and NOTHING. I am disappointed in the cleaning at this place. I got the unlimited pass and this is now the second time I haven't received a great car wash. As soon as I entered my 'clean' car I was met by a lot of Unvacuumed places and my cup holders untouched. I truly think they only wipe down the dash and that's it.
