06/26/2017 9:00 AM Today was my first visit to this facility. I own a 2010 VW Jetta Sedan, White in color and it was looking pretty tough. It was covered with sap from two Mesquite Trees that are very close to were I park my Car at home and also bird droppings. The inside was dirty with Mesquite seeds and leaves that get drug into the Car each time you get in and out. I pulled up a full service lane and was greeted very politely by the attendant. I walked around the car with him and asked him to recommend a full service wash for me. He stated "The Works" would be good, but they had "The Ultimate", which is a step up, on sale for just a couple dollars more. I selected "The Ultimate". He directed me where to go to pay for my wash and the waiting area. I went in, paid for my wash with the cashier, she told me where to watch for my Car and how they would let me know when it was done. The Cashier was a very professional and well mannered young Lady. Very nice smile ! The Car was completed, I was called, and I am very happy to share that the job that was done was "ABOVE EXCEPTIONAL", which included vacuuming out the trunk. My Car hasn't looked this good for a long time. I was treated with respect and courtesy through my whole visit at Cobblestone Auto Spa in Surprise, AZ. I have given the business and all of the employees five stars, and if I could, I would have given them more. Great work, with attention paid to detail, and the business was very clean and presentable, everything in place to make your wait as comfortable as possible, including a "Grill". People stop taking your vehicles here. Not only are you going to receive crappy service, but you are likely going to incur damage to your vehicle. I have been taking my vehicles here for years and I have yet to receive satisfactory service. Even as I am going there, I already know that I am going to be unhappy with the service. It's a given. So why do I keep bringing my vehicle to this place? Well, because I am lazy, short on time, always in a hurry, and overly optimistic. First off, I do not expect "detail" level quality from this place. These guys are the fast food of car washes. I know that going in. However, I do expect some noticeable improvements in the cleanliness of my vehicle after they are done with it. But that is the irony of this place. This car wash does NOT actually wash your vehicle at all; all they do is move preexisting dirt from one place to another creating the illusion of a cleaner vehicle. The rags they use for interior wipe downs are so filthy they leave behind a dirty residue, kind of like when you use a mop with dirty water. It's not uncommon for me to find dirty streaks across my dash and door panels after they are done wiping it down. Sometimes they attempt to remove dirt from the upholstery with these rags leaving behind stains on your upholstery that you didn't have before. The vacuum service is my biggest pet peeve here. It's pretty much nonexistent. If you have been here before, you know what I mean. These guys are given like two minutes to vacuum your entire vehicle, which means you're still going find dirt, hair, and other debris on your floor boards and seats. Sometimes the dirt is so obvious you wonder how they missed it, but they don't care because for them it's about quantity rather than quality. The whole system is built on quantity and short cuts. On a previous vehicle I owned, the snaps that hold my floor mats were broken off. I always assumed one of my children did it even though they would never mess with my floor mats. It was always a mystery. Then one day I was sitting outside in the receiving area watching the guys work on my truck when I noticed one of the workers pulling forcibly on one of my floor mats trying to remove it from my truck. He was yanking, pulling, twisting, and turning trying to get the snaps to break loose. At that moment, I realized that they are the ones who broke my snaps. Kids will you accept my apology? Of course they never bothered to tell me. For several years I had to live with the annoyance of having my floor mats being every in my truck, but where I needed them to be. Also, the exterior car wash process will leave scratches in your paint. Either the pre-rinse phase is inadequate, the scrubbers are too abrasive, or the vehicle is still dirty when it exits the washing tunnel and all the abrasive residue that is still present gets rubbed all over your vehicle during the wiped down. I have been here on days when only one side of the car wash was working, meaning only one side of your vehicle was getting washed, yet the entire car was being wiped down by hand, likely leaving scratches in the paint during this process. Of course they do not tell customers this because like I said, it's about quantity for them, not quality. Also, the products they use a low grade products because they are inexpensive compared to the better products out there. To make matters worse, the products are watered down further reducing their performance. Last but not least, they always ask what kind of scent I want, but in the last several years, I have yet to detect any kind of scent upon receiving my car. Either they are not doing it (to save money) or they are diluting it down to the point that that there is no noticeable scent. I could go on about the overbearing cheesy salesmen always trying to up sale you into a more expensive service which in the end is never worth the price and always disappointing. If you are one of those senior citizens where your car never really gets dirty, then this place might be ok, but for those who have kids, pets, or dirty hobbies...don't waste your money or time here and certainly don't risk damaging one of your major investments either. read more

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. I've went to them numerous times thinking that if I verbally ask them to not forget to wipe down or vacuum out areas that they're suppose to, that they might just actually do it. Well I was wrong! I pay for the Ultimate + which is like a $40 wash and they do a crappy job. I guess I'll just drive the extra 8 miles and go to Danny's Car wash where I know they do a great job and cheaper too! read more

I have given this place multiple chances but they've let my wife and I down for the last time. Both my wife and I have had issues with employees being rude and not completing what we had paid for. My latest experience was by far the worst. When I arrived I was greeted and the employee tried to up sell me. I said no it's a brand new vehicle i do not need those items. He told me and I quote "not to spit that sh!t here". I laughed it off as immaturity and moved on. Upon completion I noticed that the items I paid for were not completed and what was done was half way completed. Then to top it off we got home only to find multiple scratches across the top and sides of my roof. This vehicle had 3000 miles and was not scratched. I will never return to this place. I live just down the road from this place and go there for the convenience. The service is absolutely awful in the car wash area. They try to pressure you into adding add-ons to your car wash and they don't take no for an answer very well as a matter of fact they can be out right rude. Then there's the chipped windshield guys hovering around trying to pressure you into letting them fix a tiny nick in your windshield, and don't try to say no to these guys or you'll get more attitude from them. Well today was the last straw for me, I pulled my car up to the vacuum spot and got out and stood there waiting, there were only two other cars there besides mine, and young the attendant waited on them first and when he was done with them he turned and walked a way, I waited a while longer to see what he was going to do and he never even acknowledged me so I walked inside and stood inside looking out to see what he would do, well they vacuumed my car out and ran it through the car wash so I got a hold of the manager and let him know what was going on and got an attitude from him...I ended up with a free car wash but I would rather have good service first and foremost and this was the second time this kind of service has happened to me here that's why I'm boycotting cobblestone from here on out. Enough is enough. Join me in boycotting this place there are plenty of places close by to get a car wash and for that matter anything else this place sells. read more

I'm only giving this place two stars because I'm feeling somewhat generous (I guess). I went and took my car there awhile ago. I looked at it after they washed and it was ok--nothing I couldn't do myself or nothing that couldn't have been accomplished by taking it through a drive-thru car wash at a gas station. It was definitely a so-so car wash. The interior wasn't wiped down well nor was it what I would expect of a full service car wash. What really pissed me off was the fact that somehow my wiper blade came off in the wash. Now, these hadn't been touched in forever since it's been awhile since it has rained so there's no way it was "operator error" in terms of replacing it. It definitely came off and instead of telling me when they were hand drying/wiping it, they just crudely set it on top of the metal wiper part. The next day when we used our wipers/wiper fluid, the wiper blade flew off b/cse it wasn't attached and the metal piece scratched our windshield. I would have much preferred them to just tell me that the blade came off and I would have attached it myself instead of them IGNORING it and hoping I wouldn't notice. What a stupid, correctable mistake--indicative of the type of customer service they offer. Don't go here. It's not worth it. Go to TNT and get your car wash/waxed. Went for a car wash, spent $23 on a wash (not including tip...) that couldn't beat what we normally get at a $3 car wash place...I pulled in and the guy was nice enough - no problem there. After I selected the wash and proceeded inside and paid, I see a sign outside for $0.40 off gas with a wash. I go back with my receipt and ask about the offer since I also needed gas, and she tells me that I would've had to have bought the wash at the pump for that. Would've been nice if, when I was in the car wash line outside, somebody told me that, I probably would've taken advantage of it. And the fact that they don't even try to give you the offer if you've already purchased the wash is, by itself, enough of an annoyance that would prevent me from coming back. But when we got our car back, the trunk hadn't even been vacuumed, and there were several areas that were just plain dirty on the outside, especially the front grill and bumper areas. It was especially awesome to have to deal with latent, poorly concealed attitude as well when we tell them that it's still dirty and needed more attention. I might as well have not said anything because frankly it didn't do much, there were still dirty areas on the car but I was not willing to argue with them any more, I just wanted to leave. Car wash is mediocre, at best, but the service is just lacking. Can't see us going back ever. read more

Today I went to have my oil changed and tires rotated at this Cobblestone. To have the tires rotated is a $19.99 fee. I left the lug key for the guys to use for tire removal and I saw my car go through the car wash assuming the tires were rotated and oil changed, but they were not rotated. I have some curb damage on one of the tires so it was easy to see that it was not done. I was told to go back to the service area where it was explained to me that the rotation was denied because they needed a second wheel key to remove the tires which they didn't have. Never once did anybody come and ask me for a second key or explained to me the rotation was not done for this reason!!! I had the second key for them to use and I got the tires rotated, but if I had not checked myself I would have paid for a service that was never done. Disappointed. read more

There have been countless times that I have been to this location. But my last visit is what compelled me to write this review. Before I get into details... If you have a question about if you should visit this location, stop questioning and see for yourself. From the moment I drove up I felt welcome. Now I HATE when I get asked about upgrading to larger packages etc. One is fine, seems at this location they will ask, but back off when they see I am not interested. Which is awesome! I came to spend $20 on a car wash not $200 on a detail. My car is nice and clean when I leave there. Now on to the VISIT that made me write this: As usual everything was the same.. This time my car was finished and to be honest, I wasn't completely satisfied when the were done. I pointed a few things out and when they tried to correct them, they realized they were gonna have to run it through again. About 8 minutes later, They called me for my car and it was as good as ever. Mind you I only said a few things and they took it upon themselves to correct it. If that is not going above and beyond for the customer I do not know what is. read more

Okay, I took my Dodge Ram truck in this morning (9/24/14). I decided to go with the "Ultimate Wash" since I had not cleaned or washed it in quite awhile. The cost for the "Ultimate Wash" is $49.99. I figured for that amount of money I would be pleased with the results. Not so. When I first spoke with the attendant who greets you, he assured me that everything would be cleaned. I pointed out the tar and chewing gum that had stuck to the side of the vehicle. He said no problem. So, after about 15 minutes my truck is through the auto wash and shows up in the detail space under the awning. It took another hour from this point to finally get my truck. While it was parked there, they wiped it down and cleaned the inside panels and glass. This should have taken, at the most, 30 minutes. There was a lot of "down time" where nothing was being done. Finally, he pulled the truck forward and indicated that it was finished. When I walked over to the truck t noticed the tar and the gum was still on the side panels. No attempt was taken to remove it. After pointing this out to the detailer, he reluctantly walked back and got the necessary cleaning supplies to clean it. Then he says "okay?", and I say " no, the tires are not clean" Once again he shrugs and sauntered off for another cleaner. The bottom line is: I got what I paid for after complaining. This is totally unacceptable. This was my first time here and will be the last! I have been a good customer for about 3 years. I got a new car and took it through the car wash. I go at least once a week and notice a new person guiding people in. Because I'm a regular, I know the routine and could tell he wasn't confident in what he was doing. I put my car in neutral and there was an issue with getting my car on track. They stopped the car wash and someone else, the guy who usually works that station, came to steer my car while I put on the break as instructed. When I finished the car wash I inspected my wheel and the rim was scratched. It happened when they were steering it because I heard it grind. I talked to Tyler and he blamed it on me because I was in the driver's seat even though I wasn't the one steering it. He said I didn't have it in neutral but I did. I've been driving for 34 years so I know when it's in neutral. I don't think the situation was handled properly and they shouldn't have an inexperienced person guiding cars into the car wash. I felt disrespected as a loyal customer for the past 3 years and will not be going back. read more

I came in on Sept. 10th and as soon as i got there i was treated with respect and very courteously, the first attendant i came into contact with asked me about my day and even opened my door for me, he walked me around my truck and told me about all the packages that they had available and what they would do for me, i was sold on one of their most expensive washes that would shampoo my carpets and seats, wax the outside, clean the engine compartment, and even detail clean the undercarriage of my truck (it had rained pretty hard out by where i live a few days earlier and i have to take a dirt road to get home and needless to say my truck was pretty much coated in mud. after some friendly conversation he told me the mud would not be a problem and that it would be ready in an hour and a half. sure enough 1 hour and 27 minutes later my truck was waiting for me at the finish line. when i walked over to my truck i almost walked past it because i didn't even recognize it, I have hand washed it before and thought i did a good job, while walking around the truck to see the perfection that they had done while cleaning it i purposely tried to look for ONE flaw with their cleaning... i couldn't even find ONE mistake, you would be a fool not to have your car washed here, i know i will be the first one in line to have my truck brought back to showroom condition when the heavy monsoon rain comes back. I have been coming here off and on and switched once to the other guys, but I find that the Lube and Oil Department's service writer, Kim, to be fair and honest and makes each of my visits feel like I am getting a good value. Her quick attention to everyone's car under hood is expertly delivered. I never like the car wash as it is indeed sloppy, at best. But, Cobblestone Auto is my first choice for engine oil maintenance. The included car wash, discounted, is always lack luster and is why when I just want a wash I choose another company. Perhaps, it is time to have a review of how to effectively wipe and dry off automobiles. Seems like all the Yelps ding the car wash. Maybe instead of a "driver" decal on the employees uniform, a more appropriate decal might read everyone's retrained and you will not believe our attention to the details. Rag dust okay but floor mats transposed and still lint on the dash and door jams wiped but never expertly cleaned or wiped down. Maybe also have the service writer Kim teach the car wiper team about customers and caring? read more

I wish that I could give this place negative five stars. Recently I purchased a Groupon for Cobblestone Car Wash. I followed the instructions that were to go to a website and activate it before the expiration date, for three months of unlimited car washes. I printed the Groupon barcode and took it to the Cobblestone Surprise location. I waited in line, and when I reached the attendant, I was told that I had to go to another attendant and get back in line. After reaching the second attendant, I was told that the Groupon was expired even though I followed their directions, and activated the Groupon before it expired. The attendant told me there was nothing that he could do, and I should call a number and they MIGHT be able to do something. Why am I having to call a number and beg for service that I paid for, and did as instructed? It's obvious that Cobblestone Auto Spa is making using prepaid services extremely difficult, so that they can steal the monies paid without performing any services. The high-pressure sales at Cobblestone have always been annoying, but now they are just resulting to fraud. I contacted their customer service, but never received a reply. If you need gas, oil changes, or car washes, steer clear of the high-pressure, dishonest people at Cobblestone Auto Spa. read more

I used to enjoy going to Cobblestone but not anymore! The cashiers just seem to be getting younger and ruder with absolutely no customer service skills. It must be an accepted practice as she seemed to be so bold about it that I was actually horrified! I decided to read reviews on the off chance that she was a lone customer service nightmare but I guess not as there are SO MANY negative reviews? I just spent $29.00 on a wash and it was awful. Interior not wiped down in areas, the window are smeared and the vacuuming was so bad I had to redo it myself. I specifically told them to take care of the interior and was told they would do a great job. When I complained about the crappy job, I was told they only do a "light dusting" inside and that their vacuums do not fit under the seats. WTF. If I could give this place NO stars I would. my husband brought my car first thing in the morning due to it being egged the guy told him he would need to pay $5.00 extra on top of the $17.99 car wash .now i get off work and see that egg is still all over my car so while my car sat in the sun all day with egg on my paint I drove across town back to cobblestone for the first guy to tell me they r closing bring it back tomorrow i told him I have work and will only be able to make it back till around the same time. The next guy was a supervisor and told me the same thing .the next guy was the manager and again he said that he would have not even bothered paying for a wash and would had taken it back for detail WELL guess what we did pay cause thats what your staff told us !!!!! so now all he did to make it right was a refund so here my car sits with egg on my car and not once did you try any other way to make it right what kinda customer service is this the inside of my car was still dirty egg on my car I am pissed BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD CAR WASH!!!!! I tried them once and bad experience they left dust on dash board. the window you could not see smudged. I like to keep business in the community so I gave them another chance, WRONG it was way worse then the first one and he even forgot to do the tires that was included in the higher paid car wash. The workers do not care and very rude. sorry i have told many many friends not to go there they are not worth it. so sad people do not care about the quality of work they do. A few month back I purchased one of the multi-wash packages from this Cobblestone. At first the service and result was fine but it has really gone downhill. I always pay extra for more services than my original package. Anymore they seem to ave forgotten that tires have wheel rims that actually get dirty and need to be cleaned. They deliver the car without replacing the antenna. They forget to put the tire shine on. They give the car back still wet, They only clean half the floors. Then the last time the final inspector guy who delivers the car back to you tried to give it with 3 loads of bird poop still on the hood. He did wipe it off after I pointed it out but there was no apology. After I (politely) asked if this was the kind of service I could expect in the future he said have a nice day and walked away. There are a lot of other car washes around and you can bet that's where I will be going. read more

Horrible Service, 3 separate issues with my car going thru tunnel wash! This time my car jumped 3 rollers and Mgr stated it was my fault, but yet could NOT prove on camera I hit my break. Was rude, would not rectify situation and stated "Im in control of my car the whole time"... Umm your rollers are in control of my car. CANCEL SERVICE Im surprised I waited this long. They told me to wait wherever I wanted so I waited inside with this triple digit weather and that they would call me and they didn't I had to go outside to see my truck parked outside by the gas station, I spoke to the cashier who said go outside and find the guys with the red shirts they have the keys... Smh "really?" Anyway I asked and it turned out some guy with a blue shirt had my keys and he didn't even walk me to my Silverado to see if I was happy with the service. I bought the "Ultimate plus" interior and exterior wash and found the outside had water spots and the inside still had some trash on the side of my doors (minor trash but still) also the middle cup holder compartment had some dried spilled soda which was not clean, it just seemed like they got a rag and wiped shine all over the interior without cleaning it, just disgusting. The screen tv for my backing up camera is still dirty, I wiped my finger through the screen and it was so dusty. Last but not least I didn't get the freshener I was promised -black Ice, not even a thank you or we appreciate your business. I'm really disappointed. I waisted $32 smh read more

First negative review I've posted goes to this place. The positives, very polite and welcoming staff with great business model to get the cars through quickly and keep customers comfortable whilst waiting! Negatives; execution of cleaning my car. The outside is always done well but I've had enough with getting in my car and see areas still dust-covered and grubby. From the dash to the the console, the cleaning process is missed! Lastly, three times I said I wanted a basic car wash - three times! I got into pay and see that I'm being charged for the supreme car wash - and see it's because I responded with a selected air freshener when asked. This store was a bumpy road for me but as any relationship it takes time. I have found they will be more than happy to fix any misunderstanding. If they don't talk to Tyler and he will make sure it's fixed.This store is high volume and with that there will be some misunderstandings. Tyler will make sure once you leave not only will all be good but you will feel good about coming back. I recommend this store to anyone just get to know the staff it's worth it. I love this place. I came to get a express wash this past Monday and the young man in the green shirt that helped me offered me a fast pass I didn't get it because I only use the carwash once or twice a month and it was the first time I felt they didn't pressure me to buy something from them. I don't remember his name but he was very respectful and polite. I asked him how can I make the paint on my car look shiny again because its faded and he told me that I needed to do a three step buff to make it look shiny again and to get rid of some scratches. I didn't know what that was but he explained it to me, I felt like he knew what my car really needed to make it look good again. Most of the time people there are just trying to sell and make people buy unnecessary product. I will definitely come back to buy a detail wash from him when I am ready, and before I drove away he asked for my phone number and sent me a coblestone link with a free express wash. I just moved here and have a Black Lexus that is my Baby. This the Best Car Wash I have ever been to. My Black Lexus always comes clean and shiny. I never have had a problem 20+ car washes. I do not understand some of these other negative comments. I am very picky having a Gloss Black Lexus. I would like to mention 2 people ... I've been using this Cobblestone's oil change services since it opened up in Surprise and have been happy with their service each time I've gone back. The service crew is always helpful and show genuine care for the maintenance of my car. Regardless of who helps me, I'm always given advice on areas that need attention, even for things they can't repair or make money on. One of the crew, Ryan, came over and started to vacuum my car as it's oil was being changed. When he was done, he made a point to come over and greet me and while I don't recall ever meeting him, I could clearly see on his face that he recognized me as a loyal customer. I soon learned that he was the Service Manager and thanked me for my continued patronage. I return because I've never been disappointed and the crew has always reflect the care I have for my car's maintenance. I highly recommend Cobblestone Auto Spa in Surprise. read more

Got my car washed there this past Tuesday, and the guy that cleaned the interior broke the adjustment handle off the driver's seat. Told the Mgr, who told me that he'd replace the handle, which would not work as the steel pin that holds the handle to the car seat is part of the seat and they would not replace the seat. Just "great", their employee breaks something and it's pretty my the customer's problem. WILL NEVER GOT THERE AGAIN!!! read more
