I have only favorable things to say about Max Automotive. I bought a 21-year-old Honda Civic to shuttle my dogs between my house and my mother's house. I got what I paid for and it needed some TLC mechanically. When I took it to Honda to get an oil change, they advised me that it had an oil leak and needed an inspection to the tune of $250 to diagnose the problem. I reached out to a friend who is car-savvy for advice on where to take it, and he pointed me here. The scheduler was super friendly and efficient and got me on the books a few days after my call. The vibe was completely different than the dealership, as I felt like the folks at Max Automotive genuinely cared about getting me taken care of and figuring what the issue was with the vehicle. They also understood that at over 20 years old and nearly 200,000 miles, I wasn't going to perform any heroics for this car. We came up with a good plan to keep the car running for as long as possible with as minimal maintenance as possible. There aren't enough adjectives to describe Max auto. Underpromise & over deliver! Needed extensive radiator work on the Buick built in Poland that didn't have cookie cutter parts like you'd expect. They found backordered parts on the East Coast and got me back on the road within two weeks. Max's automotive was so great, had a minor issue so I came in without an appointment. They were understaffed for the day and booked out but they took the time to listen to the car and give it a quick diagnosis. Fixed a loose terminal that was the issue and then took the extra time to recover the terminal cover from the bottom of the car. They took about 15-20 minutes to help me out and didn't charge a dime for the easy fix. read more

A little disappointed , this company was recommended to me so I was excited to give them call . My son just turned 16 and we're getting him set up to be a new driver on the road and of course we want to have a inspection done on his 1999 Ford Ranger to make sure it's running smoothly for him. But when I called to set something up Jenny said it's too old and they wouldn't be able to help to even have an inspection done I have never heard of this excuse before. This is a mechanic shop I trust. They do great work, and if you're lucky, you'll get to see their namesake. Nobody wants to drop $$$ on their ride, but if you have to, Max offers cash discounts on some of their services. You just need to ask. And I was able to get a synthetic blend oil change for just under $45, which is much more affordable than any of the competitors I called for a quote. read more

I brought my son's 2007 Honda Accord to your facility due to a metal banging noise coming from the front of the vehicle. We had recently purchased it from Facebook Marketplace, which had made us somewhat anxious about the condition of the car. We dropped it off at 6:00 AM, and by 9:00 AM, we received a call informing us that the vehicle had been repaired. The issue turned out to be a loose bolt. I anticipated being charged for at least one hour of labor; however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that no labor charge was applied. I took it to max automative for a second opinion and they called me within an hour and told me it just needs a new compressor. First time going to Max Automotive, read other reciews in the area and was worried so I came here instead. Thought my rear main seal was leaking on my F150, they gave me a decent quote, I dropped it off and got a call about 30 mins later, they told me it was the oil pan seal instead. This is about 1/3 the price that the rear main was going to be. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was absolutely fantastic, very well spoken, not rude or rushed EVER. They got the oil pan seal replaced, I picked it up, so far so good. Such a relief that this was the issue and they didn't just sell me on the rear main since it was significantly more expensive. NO LOYALTY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! I've been going to Max Auto for the last several years. They recently ordered a part for me to get exchanged and sat on it for about a month. I told them that I needed to save money for the next couple weeks and will contact them soon to set up an appointment. I called today to set my appointment because I've been SAVING ALL WEEK, and they tell me they've SENT THE PART BACK. They tell me they've been sitting on the part for too long and that's not how they do business. Then Kathy continues to accuse me of past experiences, saying that I never paid for a past job they did?? This NEVER happened. Kathy continues to be accusatory and tells me to go get my part installed by the Dealership. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO LOYALTY!!!! So I went to Ford & there's a waiting list.. I have an older f150 that I love so I needed to find a private mechanic anyway.. As always I ask the military retired folks cause we talk ( a lot!!!) We review a lot!!!!... needless to say I booked with Max Automotive & was seen the same week. Great location for the town of Surprise residents. Very professional front office assistance. After leaving my truck I received a call within two hrs I believe.. With two directions to go in replacing my a/c blower motor. I took the most reasonable for me as the mechanic suggested being that I had an older vehicle. I've been on the road now almost 2 weeks without issues & I have cool air & no loud thumping noise over my front passenger area behind the glove compartment ..
