They offer towing. The price was on par with what I was expecting but the service was exceptional. They showed up in 20 minutes, super friendly, completely professional and didn't give me any grief about having it towed to a different shop. I would from my limited experience be open to having them work on my cars. I would definitely call them first if I needed a tow in Peoria. read more

They may be good at what they do but they are complete assholes, at least The person I had the unfortunate meeting with for sure was, I don't know if he felt high and mighty behind his desk or what, but for not even a minute was I in there and I walked out. He decided to be a condescending asshole when I diagnosed the problem of the car cuz I had a future issue that was doing the same thing and I ran it by his attention. Went in to have my heater core replaced after reading good reviews on the place. They had to search hard just to find a part. It took a while for the part to arrive, then a full day to install it (they removed the entire dashboard!). Difficult job, and they handled it well. It was expensive, but no more than any other good shop. I wouldn't want to sacrifice quality work just to save a couple bucks. I'll be back. read more

Wow!! Hands down the best auto car repair/maintenance shop. Not only did they fix our A/C in a timely manner, but they also offered a loaner car which made my life so much easier for a busy mom. About 10 months ago, I had an LS swap done in my jeep at a different shop across town. The job was terrible. For months I have fought problem after problem. I was getting close to giving up on it and parting it out ... then a couple of months ago, I found Shawn, Erica, Matt, Robert and the rest of the whole team at Trend Auto. They tackled a disaster, and they have professionally resolved each and every issue. This is a team that is honest, hard working, and they ALL operate at a high level of professionalism. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and honesty of this shop. My sister-in-law brought her truck down from Mayer (one hour away) and had her transmission re-built and timing chain replaced in July. In December there was a pound noise in the timing cover and it was barely running. A local mechanic thought it was the timing chain. We called Trend and they called up there, huddled together, and decided they couldn't trust anyone else to look at it. They loaded tools in a truck and drove right up to Mayer. They towed it back down to Peoria and fixed it the next day. I forgot to mention our sister's son was in the hospital and that was their only transportation. It turns out the shaft for the main timing gear broke - something that never happens. Trend could have said it was not really related to their work and I was willing to pay them something for their towing and fixing but they would not take anything. I have more examples of their honesty. They have our business for life. read more

I had my car towed here after breaking down on the freeway from overheating. I don't know too much about cars but Robert explained to me detail by detail everything that was going on with the car and made me feel comfortable with what they were going to do to it. A couple days after I got it back, my check engine light came back on and I immediately called them back. They had me bring it in and it was a small fix that they did not charge me for! Not impressed, seemed like they were trying to sell me stuff I did not need when we came in for a basic oil change awhile back. Told me that there were repairs needed and I always go to the dealer for repairs, so I took it to my dealer and they said everything was fine. I originally left one star due to this place trying to rip me off, I mentioned I worked nearby and the owner actually burst into my work and confronted me which is why I changed the rating, it was so inappropriate. I told him to get out and later walked in their shop to tell him not to come back in to my work and his wife was practically in tears she was borderline hysterical toward me.
