We call and made an appointment to bring our car the next day. The folks at Wilhelm did a quick examination and brought us the bad or badder news. We had two quotes; one at $1900 and one at $1600. The difference being off brand components. Our service tech did give us a moment and we chose the lesser cost option. They told us that our car could be ready by 4pm that afternoon and they offered to take us home and pick us up when the car was ready. We really appreciated their offer (we live about 18 miles outside of Surprise). Their driver was friendly coming and going. The service was prompt; however as we drove off our engine and transmission were lurching. We made one stop and decided to immediately bring back our car back to the shop. The quickly took it back and we waited. They said they needed to drive it for about 10 miles to reset the computer engine system because it was self adjusting. We waited another 20 minutes and our car was ready again. We got in drove off and all seems good. In summary, Wilhelm Automotive was courteous, efficient, and responsive. Staff was all very friendly and we will bring back our car if we have other service needs. We did get a "free" sunscreen. My wife and I laugh and call it our $1600 sun shade.

I accepted a partial payout through my own insurance--even though AVCC caused the damage. I filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's Office. Still... no ownership. No follow-through. And still no refund, despite their own public statement offering one. But this isn't just about money. Most Americans name their cars for a reason--because they become part of our lives. Gracie was that kind of car. She carried my kids in car seats, kept my wife close on family road trips, and quietly waited for us at every airport curb or long drive home. She wasn't just a vehicle. She was a keeper of memories, a source of comfort, and a symbol of continuity in a life that's seen change and loss. I was going to pass her on to someone special--until All Valley Car Care destroyed her. Knowing I was asking later in the morning, I was expecting to be told no, but instead she said they were busy, but would be able to look at it to see if it was a problem they could fix today or if they'd have to keep it over the weekend to work on it on Monday. I quickly drove my car down and sure enough by 2pm, I received a call from Dan letting me know it was an easy fix; thermostat, gasket, and coolant. He said he'd have it done and I could pick it up by closing time. I asked how much and it was very reasonably priced! Like they said, my car was ready by closing and my car is already back to normal. Thank you to Dan and the rest of the crew for getting me in such short notice and going above and beyond. I will be back whenever my cars need to be serviced again!

I'm a firm believer in supporting local over chain and namebrand locations, so this is perfect and very close to where I live. I was intrigued by the coupon that was on the flyer I received in the mail. I called to schedule an appointment and got in the next day. The parking lot where this location is at is very small and crowded, and it's right next to Midas, so there was nowhere to park when I pulled into the parking lot. I had to park in a slot that was reserved for another business, but there was nowhere else to go. This was annoying. I walked into the lobby and there were two people sitting there, the girl asked how she could help me and I told her that I had an appointment for an oil change. She said, can I have your key? Once I handed it to her, she said it will be about an hour. She didn't ask me if I had any concerns, or explain what was included in the oil change, if I wanted recommendations, if there was anything extra. She didn't tell me where to wait or if I was leaving or staying. I walked outside and next-door to find a little area for waiting. The waiting area has a small couch, a couple of chairs, a water cooler, bathrooms, and a few vending machines. She walked back to grab me about 40 minutes later. I walked in to pay, and asked her if I could use the coupon. She said that the price that I was paying is already at the coupon price. And I said oh OK, I was just confused about why the coupon was in the mail if the coupon price is also, what's available in the store. Both people at the desk just stared at me and didn't say anything. So I paid, and left. This was a very underwhelming visit, and they did not have good customer service. I'm really disappointed and surprised in this because all of the reviews here indicate the exact opposite. I have no idea what they did to my car, what they checked, or anything else for that matter. I'm very proud to support local, but if a chain is going to provide better customer service with comparable prices, it doesn't leave you much of an option.

Even explained to Jesse which one it was. The next day I went to pick up my truck and the check engine light was on and they replaced the WRONG cable. So I left it another night and they fixed the 2nd cable free of charge (I already paid almost $500 for the other one). My truck has a tow package but no ball because it won't fit in my garage with the ball on it. When I went to pick it up I noticed a BALL HITCH ON MY TRUCK AND JESSE WAS TAKING TIE DOWNS AND ADDITIONAL HITCHES FROM THE BED OF MY TRUCK. I asked what was going on. Jesse said a friend needed a trailer moved. He told his friend he had to test drive a clients truck. I asked if he used my truck to move his friend's trailer. JESSE SAID YES!!!
