This is great place to watch a game. I think every team is on a screen some where in here. Great Steelers bar. Steelers on the big screen every game. Lots of trash talking but all in fun. Service I'd slow but this place is packed. If your just passing through get here early. The regulars have there spots but they are very Friendly and more than happy to enjoy the name with a fellow fan. Food is just your typical bar food so don't expect a 4 star meal here. Went to Coach's Corner for the last time this last Saturday night. I have been there multiple times and have had something go wrong every time. On paper, Coach's Corner is awesome. Variety, location, multiple TVs and outside patio. In reality, the food is decent but the staff and overall experience is the reason I won't go back. Last night I ordered Potato skins as an appetizer and asked for them to come out first. It also took me about 4 beer selections before I found one that they had. Our entrees came out but no potato skins. Half way through our meal the potato skins came out and the server said that the manager said they were on the house. We finished eating and got our check. They charged us for the potato skins. Not a big deal. We would of paid for them if they would of come out on time so whatever. Previous experiences that have contributed to the decision not to come back: asking multiple times for blue cheese for my wings and never receiving it, ordering tots to go and after 30 minutes I asked about them and the waitress saying "oh yeah, they've out for 15 minutes" and just an overall feeling of making the servers disgruntled just by making them do their job. read more

A pizza worse than Pizza Hut! If I was not so freaking hungry I would have driven back to return it for a refund. Took 10 mins and 3 try's to get someone to answer the phone and actually take the order. Pizza was not cooked, very doughy and toppings were raw. Not sure they even put it in a pizza oven? Not worth the $15 they charged for this crap. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. First and last time I will go there. read more

This is my coworkers go to spot so I make it here several times a month (sometimes even in the same week). This is definitely a sports bar atmosphere, lots of tv's, sports memorabilia everywhere. The service is friendly but slow, so definitely do not go here if you are in a rush. The food is ok, I haven't had anything incredibly special. The Gator Bait wrap was what I most recently had, it was very plain... could use some sort of sauce on it to give it some flavor (it is literally just chicken (grilled or fried), lettuce, tomato, and cheese). I've also had their fried shrimp special. It was pretty good, nothing to hype up and nothing to complain about. The only complaint I have with this restaurant is (and if it weren't for this being a place I visit with coworkers frequently and the food being ok, based on this experience I'm about to explain alone, I would have given this one star) I had gone with my coworkers and downloaded the app, the server forgot to give me the discount but that's ok, I wasn't too upset. However, later that day, I could not find my debit card. I had thought the last place I used it was at Coach's so I called around 7pm and the first time I called no one answered. I called again and the woman who answered the phone, after asking her if she could look for my debit card as I believed I had left it there, told me no, she was too busy, I needed to call back later. I explained it is my debit card and it isn't really something I want floating around and if she could just glance in their lost and found cards location I'd appreciate it. She once again told me no, she was too busy. I asked for a manager, she stated she did not have one. I asked one more time if she could please check, she told me no, and I stated one last time "ma'am, this is serious and in the time you've argued with me you could have looked" she told me to hold on and then left me on hold for over 10 minutes... I ended up hanging up and messaging my coworker who knows the owner... as he was getting ready to call the owner, I was able to locate my debit card... it was so frustrating for me since I go here quite a bit... the lack of wanting to help and or concern for their customer was beyond insulting. Again, I will go back because, well, it's the go to lunch spot... but if that were not the case, my rating would be 1 star and I'd never return. read more

my stars are for the food not the service!!!!!!!!!!! i invited a group of friends to join me here for lunch. the service was the worst for me. our server, reilly had the worst attitude. she never thought about the customer service. she frowned the entire time. (no, we weren't dirty, we are very professional woman and nor were we mean). we went out of our way to be friendly. the place was not busy but it was steady (this would have justified her being overwhelm). this is the worst service yet. not sure if i will be back. as for the food. everything we ordered was superb. the shrimp, mushrooms,french fries, lemon pepper wings and drinks. we did leave a tip (even though i felt she didn't need one. she could have gotten more). i asked reilly for some lemon pepper seasoning, as it was not enough on the wings. she said "it is on there,"in a nasty tone, i told her i would like a little more. it takes nothing to smile and be just a little nicer, to someone. this girl is in the wrong job....no customer service skills, at least she gave none to us. read more

Lots of tvs, walls full of them, but kind of a low scale environment. That would be fine but Service is slooooow, if you actually get your food. I never did. Despite a table of people next to us that came in 15 after us but got their food and paid their checks and left without any food ever showing up even though we ordered when we first arrived. If you want a drink and to watch a game, it's okay (expect to be approached by staff 10 minutes after you arrive). Edit: food did finally arrive, 1 hour later. Just not the right food. read more

We've now been here several times since moving down here. We love it-- it's one of our go-to places. They have a great atmosphere, tons of sides to choose from for sandwiches (I like the collard greens and mac and cheese myself!), the wings are great and very moist, the bartender, Heidi, is super friendly and prompt, and she makes fantastic drinks! I purchased alcohol legally, from our server, with my legal ID. While myself and my friends do look young, we are all legal and presented our IDs as requested. We were discriminated against by the inebriated manager who had clearly lost control of the floor. People all around us were upset with him. The beer wasn't even cold. And on top of that the food took forever, the service was shitty, and the restaurant is poorly managed. read more

I don't think I've ever seen a sports bar with as many TVs as Coach's Corner. In additiona to their large flatscreens and projector TVs, all the booths come with their own TVs. An employee at the now closed Loco's recommended this place to me when they didn't have a hockey game I wanted to watch. Coach's Corner has all the sports television packages, so even in the deep south, I was able to catch my hometown San Francisco Giants and San Jose Sharks! read more

LOUD LOUD LOUD, but I guess that's what comes from a sports bar. We were passing through on our way back to Tybee. We should have eaten on River Street, regret it now. The food was ok, it took forever and the waitress was prancing around barely stopped long enough to put the food on the table although there were other staff working she seemed to be too busy to interact, offer the specials, etc. It was like pulling teeth to get her to answer to any questions about the menu. read more

Worst restaurant experience of my life. The food was absolutely horrible. I ordered the fried pickles which came with a "bang bang sauce" which tasted like tarter sauce mixed with buffalo sauce. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap & the waitress brought out a buffalo chicken sandwich with yellow cheese on top. She asked if I wanted something else & I politely said no thank you. By this point we had been waiting for over 30 minutes and were starving. She then said "you don't have to give me that look" umm I wasn't looking at her in any kind of way. If she hadn't interrupted me when I was ordering the wrap offering her suggestions the order would not have been messed up. The wrap was awful and perhaps the worst wrap I've ever had. The sauce on it tasted like tangy spicy sauce. Ordered a side of buffalo sauce to try and give it some flavor or mask the flavor of the sauce and the buffalo sauce was NASTY peppery sour and sweet. The waitress was white ghetto and should not have spoken to me the way that she did. Her plus the food made this the worst restaurant experience I've ever had :( Sauces were horrible service was shitty and food was a 2 on a scale of 1-10. I love good food and had high expectations of this place. Definitely let down- not to mention I was over charged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe the waitress put a few extra bucks on the tab bc it wasn't itemized and Was about 5 bucks more than it should have been. Food was okay. Very disappointed with the service. Waited 10 minutes to get a drink. Three drinks came at three separate times. Waited another 10 minutes to get some tartar sauce after the meal was served. A chunk of glass was found in a drink and given to the waitress, the manager did not even offer an apology and did not comp anything from the bill, not even the drink that had the glass in it! read more

Not a sports fan, just a fan of good chicken. My friends and I are new in town and we were really craving wings. We ended up getting a ton of chicken fingers and they were delicious. I was worried they were going to be the frozen kind, but they were not! Very fresh and the tiger sauce was great. It's a sweet sauce with a spicy kick. Interesting place. We went on a Friday night. There was baseball, hockey and basketball on the TVs and we were the only ones watching. They were playing trivia...in a sports bar on a busy night. Weird. We tried the lemon pepper wings and the medium chicken fingers. They were both good - not delicious, but good. They have a good selection of beer and a full bar. Service was a little slow but we were watching the game so it didn't matter. We'll probably go back to watch games. read more

This places has a great hometown, local feel to it. The staff is very friendly and treats you like a regular right off the bat. Great beer selection for a "divey" kind of bar. Pool tables in the back and did I mention the food? It's excellent. I had the grand slam burger and it was nothing short of amazing. We sat ourselves and waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. We asked if they could switch one of the TVs to a game we wanted and they said no even though there were four TVs right next to each other showing the same thing. The wings were average at best. We just moved to this side of town so I was excited to make this my new 'regular' stop for beer and snacks on game nights. The service was terrible. I ended up going up to the bar to get my own refills. Server did not bring condiments after repeated requests. Bottled beer we ordered was warm, french fries were under cooked. Beware of their anti-discrimination and equal accommodation violations. The minorities at my table of mixed customers ie. half black people and half white people were racially profiled as customers. Our server requested to hold our credit cards but not the white guests that accommodated us. When I asked the manager about the disparity, he stated that the Boss can do whatever he wanted. This is a direct violation of anti-discrimination laws. read more

The wings and pizza are above average. Their beer menu is slacking. The wait staff is truly hit or miss. Sometimes, (been there three times), they're very friendly and want to help in any way they can. Then occasionally, you'll see your waitress 3 times in an hour, even sit waiting for refills of water. And don't get me started on the to-go orders... the lady that I had tonight was super rude, as if I had inconvenienced her in some way. I'm going to gladly take my business elsewhere.
