I had the bun salad and added caramelize pork. Everything tasted really good and I was glad to see more noodles in my bowl more than most Vietnamese restaurant would have given. The only complaint I have is the pork was not your authentic char-grill meat like it should be. It was little cubed up pork and not grilled at all. Fun and tasty but something was missing. read more

Y'all! This place is so bomb! I love the jalapeño guava margarita. I also love sitting at the bar and having the BEST bartender Sam take care of me. She's so funny and always smiling. She always remembers me and what I like there. Get in there for happy hour and stay for dinner (you really can't go wrong with any of the noodle dishes!!). Thank me later. read more

Super cute and trendy! Suddenly came across it while walking in Charlestown... Waitress was nice and food was great.. Started with appetizers and the rice bowls were a great hearty portion!!!!! read more

My new favorite Vietnamese place. The pho was great and so were the appetizers which I highly encourage. The place itself is awesome it's nice and modern inside and staff is great as well. read more

Got the dumplings and they were delicious. The service was great and it didn't take too long to get the food. If you come you MUST try the Singapore sauce they make. read more

Was visiting Charleston and ordered the beef/Kimchi dumplings, the wings, and the krab rangoons. Food was not impressive for the price (compared with what I can find in NYC) and I was actually served raw chicken. Appetizers came out very slowly. Good service as the waiter took the wings off our bill immediately. Nice decor and set up but cannot recommend this place. read more

The food is really really really good here. I have eaten at a ton of Vietnamese restaurants and the food here is just on another level in terms of elevating Vietnamese to a sophisticated level. Pho is not super rich but still good. I have tried many things on the menu and all are wonderful. Prices a a tad bit high but worth it. Check this place out for sure. read more

We returned for a follow up visit...again, food and service were spectacular. This time the food really shone...it's so nice to have this option in Charleston. Quick, easy, not very expensive and absolutely delicious. Fresh Spring Rolls, Drunken noodles with beef, curry soup...all great. We did not drink any beverages besides water, so I cannot comment on these this time. But for food...it's awesome. read more

Korean bbq banh mi, pork dumplings and curry shrimp are a must!

I'm less enthusiastic than some of the reviews here. Co has a nice atmosphere, but the food was hit or miss. On our visit they didn't hit anything out of the park, and the Mapo Doufu was pretty poor. The Pork and Ginger Gyoza were very good. Grilled nicely, filled with tasty spiced pork with a nice bite. Nicely done. The Summer Spring Roll was also good, but not special. A nice blend of fresh vegetables but rather bland. Very refreshing. The Yakisoba was good, but nothing you would go back for. The dish a bit runny and lacked any deep flavor. The Mapo Duofu was a real letdown. This is one of my favorite Asian dishes, but here it was like a mild soup instead of the hearty spicy dish it is supposed to be. Service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere nice. Overall, we've eaten at far better Asian restaurants at similar prices. As a general comment, their dishes seemed to rely more on the sauces you add at the table than any skill in the kitchen. read more

CO's food is always delicious and fresh. The bar has great cocktails and excellent service.

I have visited Co twice and both times were pretty good although I have not eaten much Vietnamese and probably non that was authentic. I am guessing Co would fit into the Asian fusion category. The chicken lemongrass banh mi was a nice departure from the heavier fare at other restaurants in Charleston. The second time I tried the beef pho and overall it was tasty. read more

Very tasty place with fast service. Plenty of Vietnamese options which is rare here in CHS.

Good food but a bit pricey for what it is. Nice and clean decor intended to attract a younger crowd.

The ramen taste like chicken noodle soup and the bahn mi sandwiches are masked in mayo. Great service but terrible food.

good was great, service not too much. went to sit upstairs as the bartender didn't come off as friendly, though it might have just been end of second sunday vibes on her end. Sat down and waitress asked me to speak up with order. watched as table across me had few issues with wrong order items which were resolved. I asked at one point if my food would be out soon since I was self timing my meal to avoid a large parking ticket and she offered to bring out check. thought that was strange since I hadn't even seen my food yet. the food was amazing. I loved the kick from the ingredients!! was just upset that instead of offering a refill waitress offered to take my check. I finally felt rushed and just got a box. I wish I hadn't mentioned time since that became the servers main concern since it was just me gaging something for myself. read more

Excellent vietnamese chicken salad but order extra dressing. The thai green curry and curry laksa are excellent. Enough to share. .always take leftovers home. We love coming here. Although no elevator to second floor seating. read more

The Pho was awesome. Definitely compares with some of the best places I've been to on the West Coast.

Great flavour, good value ! sandwhichs are on the small side so be sure to order a side dish. The fried rice dish with Singapore sausage and a over easy egg is the best fried rice dish I have ever had. My friends ordered the Korean rice bowl and the spicy beef pho with mango spring rolls, they were all very happy. You can eat and drink yourself silly for 100 after tip, we will return read more

My wife and I went here for a small lunch. We split the summer roll and a Vietnamese ramen. The summer roll was very fresh tasting. We especially like the fish sauce/vinegar dipping sauce. The ramen was very flavorful. If we had the opportunity, we'd love to try some of their other options. We were very happy with our food. read more

Went here for happy hour and ordered the pork belly buns and lemongrass lychee sake. Both were super delicious. The pork belly buns had great flavor and they put a tasty sauce on them! The bun was light and fluffy. I expected the sake to have a stronger lemongrass flavor, but it was actually pretty toned down so the lychee flavor really shined through! The sake was very refreshing and smooth and was just the right amount of sweetness without being too much! My mom ordered the spicy crab Rangoon and loved them! read more

Great location in the middle of downton, the ambiance is solid and the food was a nom-gasm. I ordered the crispy chicken wontons, pork belly sliders, grilled steak banh mi and the beef pho, they all satisfied my tatsebuds. I plan on coming back before I return home. Cheers read more

Good selection of pan-Asian noodle dishes and banh mi sandwiches. The noodles and pork buns were fine, but not exemplary. The prices are surprisingly reasonable given the upscale atmosphere. read more

My friends wouldn't shut up about this place and their Pho. We went on a rainy Monday around 1pm, and the place was packed. It's all first come first serve with very little room to wait. We waited at the bottom of the stairs until 4 people left and jumped on their spots like vultures. I never had Pho before so I had high hopes. It didn't live up to the hype. I thought it was going to be the most amazing thing ever, but I actually enjoyed their spicy udon way more. There's a lot of restuartants in Charleston, at their price point, I don't know if I'd be back. read more

The food was really good. Although I took out one star for the high oil content.. Service was great and they accommodated our customizations very well. A nice lunch stop at Charleston Kings street! read more

The worst service to begin with! We stopped in on 12/27/18 to have lunch. First of all the upstairs wasn't open which we didn't know. Was seated downstairs in what appears to be a bar. It was nice , yet very very small. Our waitress was not very informed it appeared!! She neglected to tell us once we sat ... we started to order, there was no chicken available! And, it wasn't going to be available for at least 30 minutes. They use one wok to cook beef, pork, and chicken separately. Why upon sitting she didn't inform of this until we began to order. She was rude about it and I would have left. My son, had to put his pup down that morning. My son had not been eating , because of his loss. He was craving CO and wanted to go. I will never return to this place! They need to let the customer know upon sitting they are out of , or certain food is not available! I do not eat pork or beef. The only options and shrimp... We did eat there. My food was just " ok"! We did go upstairs to eat finally! Our waitress upstairs was great and tried to make up the fact we were treated poorly! Never again!!!! read more

We only went for happy hour and it was excellent in spite of the fact that their fryer was not working. That was disappointing, but the apps and wine we had were very good for a great price, so, no complaints! read more

Delicious food!! Service was really slow but our server comp'd the appetizer which was nice. Ordered the udon noodles which was so flavorful. My husband ordered the pad Thai which was pretty good but the udon was definitely better. Try the Singapore hot sauce. I liked it so much I bought two bottles to take home! read more

CO - Vietnamese Near Me - Charleston, South Carolina

The happy hour was fantastic and better yet, the bartender Jennifer, was personable and helpful. I would go there again very son!

Ordered several dishes. It was just Okay. My wife order the Pad Thai. The Shrimp appeared raw (flimsy and chewy) and had a horrible odor too. We did tell the server and brought my wife a plate of shrimp. Texture and taste were fine the second time around. Most likely will not go back. read more

Curry shrimp appetizer is amazing. Prices are excellent, especially for the broth noodle bowls and stir frys. Huge portions.

I ordered the bun xao. It wasn't the most delicious bun xao I ever had, but I enjoyed it, especially for the price. I sat on the second floor at a long community table with benches. My back hurt by the end of dinner because there were no backs to the seat. Waitstaff was very pleasant. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. read more

Loved it! Ready to go back! We weren't crazy about the Banh Mi but loved the Pho!

This place has a good selection of Asian food, I highly recommend the pho ga, small portion but satisfying.

We had a group of 10. Good food. Came out quick and delicious. The panang pho was the best thing we had.

We strolled in on a very cold night and the curry soup was delicious. I also had a chi martini. We miss our asian food from home ( hawaii) so this was a nice fusion. The bartender surprising split our soup and the broth was delish! We took the left over broth home to eat with rice! The fried chicken wasn't that great read more

We popped in one afternoon, sat at the bar, and had the beef dumplings and curry shrimp appetizers. Both were great but the beef dumplings were definitely the best. Bartender was really nice and loved the ambiance. read more

AMAZING little find! Will be back before I leave! I had the short rib sandwich and OMG the flavors! Also tried the ramen soup and it was just as good and had great flavors! Was really surprised! read more

I walked into Co with high expectations, having had great meals at the Savannah location. Some of the items were either missing or different and I was pretty bummed. Luke walked over to take the menu when I was ready to walk out and offered to let me customize my dish. I kind of guessed and added things from memory and am going to inquire when I go back to the Sav restaurant but the results were pretty good. A to-go bag was sent out to the bar and kind of sat there and I didn't want to be the guy asking about every bag that is sent out. Luke noticed that I was still there talking with family before walking over and talking with some of the workers near the to-go bag and getting it himself. The other workers had been busy running back and forth themselves. He apologized and added extra condiments that I'd requested earlier. This could have gone in any direction but overall the positive experience was due to great customer service. Many of us write reviews whennthings go wrong and take the good experiences for granted "Why reward a business for something that they SHOULD be doing?" Well why NOT reward them with a few words that cost you nothing and motivate them to continue being great people? read more

This is my first time to dine here. The thai green curry was excellent and our server Yasemin was outstanding. I definitely recommend it.
