Absolutely love the service here! The staff is so incredibly nice and everything comes out fresh and fast so it's perfect for a quick meal without sacrificing flavor. I got the bang bang shrimp and the beef and kimchi dumplings. I LOVED the bang bang shrimp and I could have eaten another bowl. The dumplings could have used a little more flavor for my personal taste but still a very good deal. Their happy hour is one you don't want to miss. Tons of food options and $6 glasses of wine downtown is unheard of!

i've walked by this place multiple times and have always wanted to try it. now that i have, i don't regret it. the food was phenomenal. crab rangoon 9/10, spicy gyoza 6/10, bang bang shrimp 10/10, and the pork spring rolls 7/10. the spicy gyoza just didn't have a lot of flavor. we also ordered a shirley temple which was the best shirley temple i've ever had, 10/10. the service was great, the ambiance was very nice, absolutely no complaints.

I used to dine at CO regularly and was so disappointed when it closed. I was honestly addicted to their Hanoi Noodles. This was my first time back since they reopened and aside from the aesthetic changes, the menu is pretty much the same and the food is just as good! The staff is also so kind, especially Natalie the bar tender! She made our night a special memorable moment.

Stopped by CO and experienced their happy hour! I was there for a different event but I was so excited to try more! The yellow curry was the star of the show!! It's so flavorful and you can add chicken or tofu. We had an awesome bar tender and she was super friendly! The upstairs is gorgeous and very spacious for a restaurant on King! We had the lemongrass lychee sale along with a few other delicious bites! Happy hour is 4-6 and definitely worth checking out!!!

After a long almost year of renovations I am SO excited CO is back!! The updated space is beautiful! The bar is fresh and clean and elegant. The new murals are thoughtfully curated and make the space feel so elevated. The Happy Hour is still one of the best In Charleston in my humble opinion. They have food ranging from $5-8 and drink options from beer, to cocktails to the star of the menu the cold flavored saki. The crab wontons and beef and kimchi dumplings are AMAZING! Menu favorites are the yellow curry on Happy Hour, the chicken pho and the curry laksa. The new staff have all been absolutely amazing and the bartender Rachel is quickly becoming a familiar face we look forward to seeing. If you haven't visited CO in a while please go back and see their updates!

Such a great spot! Food is fresh & delicious, cocktails are spot on & the service is great.

Walking distance from Guillard & surrounding hotels. Reasonably priced too. ENJOY! Ps. If Rachel is working the bar you're in for a treat!

Came at the perfect time for happy hour! Our server/bar tender was amazing! Loved every bit of this experience and everything we ordered from the happy hour menu was so good! 10/10! The restaurant itself is super fun and clean and modern with a downstairs and upstairs area.

Loved the atmosphere. Great date night environment. Drinks are great, though they couldnt make an amaretto sour. Service was fantastic. Quiet and elegant. The beef bulgogi was pretty salty but tasty.

This is my 2nd time in here but 1st time eating. I came in another time at 4 and sat at the bar. The bartender told me they were not serving food for an hour because only one cook showed up and they needed time to get caught up. Yikes that's rough and I decided to come back another time. I've been told great things about this place so I've been anticipating on coming here for weeks. Gotta say I'm not impressed. I came back here on a Friday late afternoon and bar had open seating so I was hopeful they served food this time and I mainly came for restaurant week. Bartender had a group at the bar she was tending too so I got a water while waiting for her. She apologized it was taking longer to get back to me because it was about 10 mins. I would say smiling goes a looooong way. I'm not saying she was mean or rude, but not a friendly hospitality warm greet as I expected. I'm noticing that happening often as I've visited places here in downtown Charleston. I manage a restaurant in a hotel, being warm and hospitable is number 1. Anyways so I ordered the 3 course for $25. Spicy crab Rangoon, curry laksa broth and pad Thai. I know this place obviously has an American flare or influence on the food but that's expected in Charleston. Rangoons were good, a touch of spice. Laksa broth was probably the best thing I had here. Flavorful, good savory notes and the strong curry taste which I really enjoyed. Pad Thai, noodles over cooked and saturated in sauce. Then I noticed no beans sprouts (my fave texture in pad Thai) then no chicken and I'm pretty sure Napa cabbage? Not mad about the cabbage but definitely doesn't come in pad Thai. I know tamarind is a component in pad Thai, but that's all I tasted. Not a good balance of what I'm used to with pad Thai. Sweet, savory and tangy so eh. I'm sure they have some other really good dishes but after the hype I'm a bit disappointed. Glad I only paid $31 for all of this. I think I'll go back to Ha long bay for viet food down here. They are consistently good and friendly.

We come here every Wednesday for Happy Hour and couldn't love it more! Natalie the bar tender is fantastic. You should definitely come here for the food and great service.

Stopped in on a whim. We got the beef kimchi dumplings and pork belly buns to start. They were solid. For our meals we got the chicken katsu rice bowl and the spicy miso ramen. The portions were insane. Five starts goes to Natalie -- she was so attentive!

My mom got the Bourbon and Clyde and she said it was incredible. Description also in picture. The orange foam and pistachio crumble was a great addition. Another great drink for autumn. My second drink was the Smokin Indo which was probably my favorite. They performed the smoked glass technique with applewood which was not only cool to watch but added a unique flavor to the drink. We always make a point to get the assorted cheeses when we are here because they make a great charcuterie board. They switch up the cheeses just like they change their cocktail menu. Love to sit at the bar because it is truly an art to watch the bartenders make these drinks and really adds to the experience. Everyone who works here is super kind and knowledgeable on their craft. However, if you are able to be there when the two Doar brothers are working it makes it truly special. They give postcards with their check and there's a bowl of matchbooks sitting on the bar. I'm giving 4 stars because the first cocktail I ordered was SO SWEET that I couldn't get it down. I tried to drink it but had to send it back. We asked when we ordered about the flavor profile and supposedly it wasn't sweet, but all 3 of us agreed it was way oversweet. My black manhattan was phenomenal and my husband had a mocktail moscow mule that was awesome. Overall, I'd come back again - just be mindful of the ingredients in the drink and modifying as needed for sweetness. Make a reservation if you can!

Appetizers/shareable- We shared the calamari and French fries. The calamari was good! It came with an aïoli dipping sauce that was delicious. The French fries were comparable to any other restaurant fries. Nothing special. Main entrees- we each had a bite off of each other's entree/shareable to sample. Swordfish sandwich- flavor was there, battering was thin coated and gave off a nice crunch. Ceviche tacos- had a nutty Asian flavor to it. Came in 3 little bite sized taco like chips. Miss Paula grilled shrimp- shrimp in a curry Thai like oil served with 5 toasted baguette slivers. If you're into Thai red curry, I'd recommend this. They advertised the shrimp is locally caught. Oysters- nothing too exciting. Kitchen service- The reason behind the 0/5 for the kitchen service is because they messed up our order so many times. They missed two of our orders and didn't make them until we said something. Instead of getting our side salads we kept getting fries. We got double of things we hadn't ordered. From the moment the first person got served their food, there was a 40 minute gap in between the serving of the last person. Our foods weren't served together so we had some girls having to wait to eat. Even then, our last girl got her food to go because we also had another rsvp to be at. We spent about 3 hours on the rooftop total when they were so adamant on having a reservation. We expected to be here for only an hour so we could spend more time exploring downtown but couldn't do that due to the speed of the kitchen service.

We arrived for dinner with our 2-year-old. The tone was set immediately by our server, who was visibly annoyed when I didn't respond to his greeting fast enough because I was tending to my toddler. Rather than reading the situation with any empathy, he sharply said "Hi, miss" in a way that made it clear he expected immediate attention. Not a great start. Things only went downhill from there. My husband had to briefly step away to take a work call, and instead of accommodating the situation in any reasonable way, the server dropped water and bluntly said he'd return "when your husband is back"--effectively refusing to engage with me at all. Trying to make the best of it, I decided to feed my child first. After waiting quite a while with no assistance, I had to flag someone down--who turned out to be the manager. What followed was honestly the most appalling part of the evening. I asked if they could simply warm up my child's food. Not only did she refuse, she told me I could not feed my child in the restaurant. No alternatives offered. No attempt at accommodation. No offer for a kid friendly food item, or no offer to feed her in the hotel lobby. Her "solution" was that I should leave the restaurant and go find some outdoor space nearby to feed my toddler. To make matters worse, she added that "service will start at 6:15 sharp," essentially implying I should figure it out and be back on their timeline. The complete lack of empathy, flexibility, or basic hospitality was astonishing. I have never encountered such dismissive and hostile behavior toward a family with a young child--especially at a supposedly high-end establishment. Mind you we have been to plenty of restaurants including 3 Michelin stars. If you're dining with a child--or frankly, if you expect to be treated with basic respect--I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.
